Does anyone know what kinds of slides are coming to the park...if you zoom in on the pic with the highlighted areas...i saw a double wave pool and a lazy river and what appears to be a kids area but no major slides...

Now Nashville Shores is going to have to compete against this now...

Well with them saying in the video that they are custom making timberliners for the ride meaning that no other timberliner train is like the one being made for the voyage. Hopefully, after all of this mess...they can start a season with fresh new timberliners...this will be one of the best roller coasters in the world when this happens.

If they take out a roller coaster and put a family ride in...what's wrong with that? Then it will draw more families and people to CP and get more money resulting into another creative CP coaster...time will come...hopefully

I hope they run the timberliners this year...if they don't...they spent so much hard work on the ride only to cause problems to the track with the PTC's. Crossing my fingers!!!

That Animal Care Center is a great little addition to the park and brings colors and life to the Naroibi area. Anybody else heard any more rumors of a drop tower and additions to the park?

I can't wait to see these new trains! Rubber wheels...no seatbelts...awesome!

Umm...Kumba! Batman's lift hill at the SF parks...well most of them. I also think Rockits lift hill is a little loud from far away from the ride...I can still hear it

Honestly, I hate how they will now have Harry Potter at both parks. I wish they would just do the rest of the Lost Continent and turn the Poseidons Fury to Gringotts. I don't mind Jaws is leaving...but it's still an enjoyable ride that was a big icon of the park. Oh well...whatever Universal needs to do to bring in money is fine for me.

When I was at the park on Monday...there was not a single person there. We were first on Cheetah Hunt for the day front row and then did back row with no wait. We were also first on Montu. There is still a train with yellow restraints...the black ones might be new and will not be as dirty but I loved the yellow on this ride. Then we did Gwazi lion. Tiger was closed and looked like they rebuilt the lift hill...that's not where it needs it though. Lion was very rough in the front row...I thought they improved this ride?! Sheikra was running great. Christmas on Ice was a lot better than last year. I've also heard a rumor that Phoenix might be replaced with a S&S Giant Swing...similar to Dollywood's version as in height and capacity. If that's also true...I can't wait...I like Phoenix...I just HATE the restraints...

Screamscape has posted some rumors caaught by some rumors from the employees around the park that's upcoming for BGT!

2011 Review! This year's event I thought was a lot better than last year's. The houses get more scarier and creative, the scarezones were phenomenal this year and it was just a lot of fun. I managed to get through every house by 9:45 and that includes a 30 minute break eating at the Irish Pub they have their outside of Mummy. Haunted Houses (In order of favoritism): 1. Winter's Night 9/10 -First and favorite. Scary. Very detailed and original theme but really really well theming and pop outs in the weirdest places. Only complaint is that it seemed short but it was short and sweet! 2. Saws N Steam 9/10 -Definitely the scariest house. Loved the transition from Scare Zone to house. I didn't notice a lot of Steam in this house though. 3. In-Between 9/10 -Never been into a 3d house before and this just blew me away. Very cool effects and thought it was a very scary, well-done house. 4. Forsaken 8/10 -I thought this was the best themed house of the night and had amazing effects of being on a ship it just lacked some scares but offered some decent ones too. 5. Nightingales 8/10 -Another short but sweet house. I thought this house didn't have as many effects and wasn't as scary but was still awesome. Banshees popping out of nowhere, being shot, and swinging over your head. Great job! 6. Nevermore 8/10 -This house was amazing!!! Loved all of the story inegregations and thought the scares were just ok. It's up there with theme though. 7. Blood N Guts 8/10 -I honestly had the most fun in this house because of all of the different holidays and halloween takeover of each holiday. Nothing scary, just fun. 8. The Thing 6/10 I didn't even get this house, it wasn't scary and I was confused the whole way through it.

Are there any red buttons this year?????

I'm going this Sunday. Is it crowded on Sunday? When I enter the park do I go to the houses in the Soundstage area or make a right going to the ones in the tent and storage area? What time should I get there! Really excited about Sunday. Best house? Best scare zone? THANKS

Howl-O-Scream 2011 Review This year's event based off of the "Dark Side of the Gardens:Zombies Live Here" really turned this year's event around. There were no scarezones and I actually thought it was better without them because the scare was everywhere at the park. It was really crowded this year and I went last night but here's my review: Haunted Houses: Zombie Mortuary-7/10 Yes it's a new house but so much of it is like Trapped in the Walls and you could tell when and where they were going to pop-out. It was themed "ok" but I thought this was going to be a stronger house than what it actually was. Not really scary. Nevermore-7/10 Just like the DED house. No real scares. Didn't catch what works from Poe's stories they were trying to get to but the ending was pretty cool! Same design as the DED house, basically a retheme house, not new. Ultimate Gamble: Vampire Casino-9/10 I thought they did a fantastic job with this house and will be a favorite. I didn't really feel like I was in a casino too much but there were a lot of creative scares in this house that I wasn't expecting. Howl-O-Scream really tried with some of their houses and this one blew me away. Careful about the "All-you-can-eat buffet towards the end" Nightshade Toy Factory-8/10 Just like last year's but with minor updates. A few more scareactors, and a little different ending. Lots of effects in the house. Really enjoyed it. Nothing really scared me except the ending probably. Death Row Vengeance: Fear the Dead-8/10 A returning favorite like Nightshade. Didn't really catch the whole zombie integregation but still liked it. Enjoyable house, no real scares though. Love the ending though. Deconstruction: The Doctor is Out of Control-5/10 I wish they tear this one down. Every year they try to make it better but it gets worse and worse. No scares at all and don't bother waiting in line for it. I hope they make a new house here next year.

So, you would remove a fantastic money-maker for the park? Smooth move, bub. I would probably have Dinosaurs Alive for at least 3 years and by then...it will die down to where nobody will go there.

I think that CP should remove Disaster Transport and maybe the SkyTower and add a GCI Boardwalk coaster that resembles the old Cyclone that once lived (also takes up the employee parking lot in that area. I think CP should redo Mean Streak making it a true wooden coaster...CP has terrible woodies and for them to redo and recreate the whole ride making it a lot longer and stuff. I was thinking for CP to close down Challenge Park and redo some roads to the water park and hotel parking...make the water park garage parking and have an Out and back woodie through CP's nature (if they add trees). If they remove Iron Dragon, a Wing Rider would sound great but I would only agree if Mantis was removed haha. Corkscrew should leave its Corkscrew's over the midway as that is a true memorable iconic moment of the ride. I would completely overhaul the water park. I would add something like Wooden Warrior to the Frontier section or something. I was also thinking something like Toy Story Midway Mania kind of ride in the Midway...thought that would be cool considering they don't have a dark ride (DT does not count). Wildcat would be removed and replaced by a custom made new technology flat ride. I know this stuff would probably never happen I just thought I would like to put it out there and say if I had ownership of CP...I would add...**first on my list...remove Dino Alive!!!

June 3rd 2011 Trip at Busch Gardens Tampa! I was first rider of the day with my mom in the front row and we sprinted to the ride with the rest of the "herd" behind us...we did it though!...it was running great all day...love the airtime and the hanging loop...rhino rally area is great...this is a FANTASTIC addition to BGT. Walls are finally down and Cheetah Hunt is now on the sprint to catch its prey. The first turn is so pretty! I can't believe how they changed this...it's a beautiful alive area of the park...just think that one year ago (june) there were smelly horses out here and an old time looking skyride building. The line of people 10 min after the park opened. Cheetah Run, Cheetah Hunt, now Cheetah Gifts? wow...really creative haha. What about Cheetaka??? The amazing entrance to the beautiful ride. The new skyride entrance...what a difference this area is...great job BGT Amazing view of the tower from the SkyRide entrance. I'm in love with this shot! I can't stop looking at it haha. How many cheetah's can you find in this picture? Looking at the marvelous tower. The "hop" over the skyride. I love this airtime hill. Looking back towards the "new" skyride station Cheetah Hunt is photogenic everywhere on the ride! This loop provides a lot of hang time. I tried to get the Rhino Rally area...didn't work out too well. Horns!!! Looking back... Stanley Falls! This ride never gets old. Kumba through the trees I thought this was a cool shot. GRRRR. All the tigers were sleeping because Jungala is VACANT when Cheetah Hunt is hunting. I'll end with this update with this shot...I went through the glass hole and there was a tiger right outside of it sleeping! It was amazing and scary. Tomorrow's update will feature more of Cheetah Hunt!

JUNE 3RD 2011 UPDATE STARTS TOMORROW WITH TONS OF SHOTS OF CHEETAH HUNT (if you know what I mean). I'll start today's update with the baby aardvark...it's just not the same as Kasi and Mtani...still cute though. It was roaming around his little "room" and sniffing...I think. Cheetah Hunt's corkroll! Different angle. Wait... This would be perfect if there was a Cheetah Hunt train right above it!!!!! UGH A look at the elephants. Timbuktu...this area has seemed "dead" this season. Hopefully they get rid of the Phoenix and put in a Screamin' Swing! Sheikra and Stanley Falls...the park was really empty in May...well at least before Cheetah Hunt opened. I love being in the front on the 4 second hang before the drop. I thought this shot was amazing! I can't believe I took this! Water Splash Finale Braking...whatever you wan't to call it. I love the view of Sheikra from the Zambia Smokehouse! Second drop into the tunnel...I miss the mist. Splash down! This is the entrance to the smokehouse and if you look up...this is what you see. Tidal Wave. This was supposed to turn out better but I was late and it didn't come out good. Sheikra's Immelman through the trees. This is my all-time favorite shot of Sheikra besides the one of the drop! I was really proud of myself haha. Just in case you didn't know what the big red thing I was taking pictures of or didn't bother reading the captions...here ya go. One last shot of the Sklooooooosh. A look at BGT's landscaping...doesn't even compare to BGW but still pretty. Statues of animals...they really must hate the heat haha...That's all from May's Update...Next update is June 2011 (the 3rd to be exact) and has a ton of amazing shots of Cheetah Hunt (literally) haha.
