  1. Latest deconstruction pics. Construction on the new Giga Dive to begin next month according to the permit.
  2. Given the height of the first drop the layout should be interesting to say the least. I have a feeling this giga will surpass all other dives in terms ride experience and enjoyment.
  3. Yeah, SFSTL is in desperate need of a new coaster. Even if it's not a Giga, just some kind of major new attraction ride to bring in the guests.
  4. It's confirmed as a dive and the coordinates given correspond to the location of La Vibora and El Diablo. So it's going in that location.
  5. Here's the link. https://oeaaa.faa.gov/oeaaa/external/searchAction.jsp?action=displayOECase&oeCaseID=645776568&row=9
  6. Proposed coaster coming to Six Flags Over Texas! 309ft coaster to be constructed between 03/01/2025 - 03/30/2026! Called "Project Rubi"! This information is credited to Austin James and Six Flags Over Texas Junkies.
  7. This sounds good! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Bj5zq8v6Y/
  8. I wouldn't mind doing it if the pay was good.
  9. Photos credited to Melanie J. Leary and Six Flags Over Texas Junkies.
  10. La Vibora deconstruction is well under way. Photos credited to Andrew Floyd and Texas Thrillseekers. This section sits on the ground.
  11. I fully understand what you're getting at. It would be great if Cedar Fair would give us some hint at what their plans are with regards to SFSTL.
  12. I'm not so concerned with quantity as I am quality of the ride selection at the park. And while we don't know the specs of the new B&M Dive Coaster coming in, possibly Giga, we do know that it is part of th $1 billion investment that Cedar Fair, is making into the parks. This means they care about SFOT and want to add new rides and attractions that will bring guests in. A shiny new coaster with great rider capacity might just fill the bill.
  13. This is an interesting concept of what the park will be getting.
  14. 20241130_125323.mp4 La Vibora and El Diablo are on their way out.
  15. Photos of the soon to be removed La Vibora and El Diablo! It is expected that a shiny new B&M Dive Coaster will take their place. Stay tuned! We can see the fence stretches all the way around both rides
  16. This article sounds a tad gloomy. https://www.thetelegraph.com/news/article/six-flags-billion-investment-st-louis-19941143.php
  17. This looks to be great! I've been on Sheikra at BGT as well as Dr. Diabolical at SFFT and they were both very enjoyable rides, Wrath Of Rakshasa looks to be even better! Makes me excited for SFOT's new Dive Coaster coming in 2026!
  18. Well send you El Diablo. It's bigger than the Larson Looper you already have. La Vibora is headed for the scrap heap.
  19. I hope they play a different game with this one. Anyway, they're already demolishing La Vibora and El Diablo, construction on this monster is going to be going on all next year. Hopefully it'll be more than just a copy of the one going in at SFGA.
  20. It appears that a major new attraction is coming to SFOT! I will be at the park covering any and all new ride construction! Stay tuned!
  21. The "Record Breaking Dive Coaster" coming to SFOT makes me think it could be a Giga. There are no height restrictions at SFOT.
  22. Apparently, this has been confirmed and both rides are already in the process of being removed. Supposedly a new attraction is coming, possibly a coaster. I will visit the park myself to try and get a firsthand look at what's happening. Stay tuned.
  23. Check out my YouTube video for the songs played. The theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey was played as the sun went into full eclipse. The shirts were not glow in the dark.
