  1. I'm tellin' ya, it's a 400ft ring the bell game.
  2. Thunder River Reverse Splash. Awesome! Mike 10/10 would splash again. Honestly this is just as possible as getting a new coaster this year. A question I have is that how many people would like to see the Iron Boss? I am not sure if I would want to see the huge woodie go. (Sorry if this has been asked already sometimes I cannot keep up with this thread.) Wicked Boss would be a better name.
  3. My guess is RMC will be involved. Twisted Boss anyone?
  4. Whilst I appreciate your kind words with regards to my home park SFOT, I'm sure better days are ahead for SFSTL. Also, I haven't been on the SFSTL version of JLBFM, but aren't they basically the same?
  5. Bite your tongue sir!! Just the thought of a Larson Loop coming here makes me nauseous. I would much rather have a 400ft ring the bell game.
  6. It'll probably just turn out to be a 400ft ring the bell game. In all honesty, if they ARE putting in a new coaster, then they would need to start clearing land almost immediately. Another thing, "it's all fun and games until 2016"? Does that mean the "fun and games" will stop in 2016? Maybe that huge thing the attendant was looking at was a wrecking ball and the park's being demolished to make way for new condominiums.
  7. In that video we see a game attendant staring in awe as something huge goes by. The question is, what was it.
  8. Just came from the park. JLBFM ran like a champ today and the ride ops were doing such a tremendous job of loading and unloading the vehicles that the line never stopped moving. I hope this is indicative of what we can expect from now on.
  9. ^^Ah yes, I had forgotten about TSS. I suppose it would have to be considered a flat. But I doubt we'll see a Max Air type ride in here anytime soon. Although, if we beg, maybe SFFT will give us Spinniker/Wagon Wheel back.
  10. ^The only flats the park will likely get are hand-me-downs from other parks. We were nice enough to send Flashback to SFSTL, maybe they'll be nice enough to send us their Excalibur ride. Larson Loop anyone?
  11. Ah yesssssss!!! New at Six Flags over Texas for 2016!!!! Our all new corporate picnic area!!!!
  12. That sky ride reminds me of my childhood days at Spring Lake.
  13. A Giga will not fit at our park unless they remove an existing ride like Shockwave. I would bet on a Wing Rider in the abandoned shoping area.
  14. Mr Freeze Reverse Blast- SFOT Top Thrill Dragster- CP Maverick- CP
  15. Water parks can be prime territory for pedophiles for obvious reasons. I've actually had little kids that I didn't know try to grab onto me in the wave pool because they didn't know how to swim. Chances are they will never catch this sicko.
  16. ^I first rode Shockwave back in 1978 when it first opened. It still rides as smooth today as it did back then.
  17. I've only been on NTAG and IRAT. Of those two, NTAG takes top honers. NTAG has much more airtime which is constant, IRAT starts strong and finishes strong but has a weaker mid-section after the inversion. For the record, I've ridden both NTAG and IRAT numerous times and in virtually all seat locations. 1= New Texas Giant 2= Iron Rattler
  18. ^Well, one of the ops told me that one of the cars was having more trouble than the others. Maybe that's the one that got sent to SFSTL.
  19. ^Yeah, let's tear this stupid thing down and replace it with a Larson Loop.
  20. Perhaps someone could tell me, how much trouble did Universal have with Spiderman and Transformers when they first opened? Is this type of thing typical for complicated dark rides when they first open?
  21. More trouble for JLBFM. Just came from the park, I was able to get a ride on JLBFM this morning when park first opened. However, the ride broke down soon after and was still down when I left. What's more, the ride I took had problems. The ride vehicles seemed sluggish at times and not all of the effects appeared to be working. The fog screen was having issues and the lights in the section with the falling barrels weren't working. Disappointed guests are turned away. Empty queue on JLBFM.
  22. In that case I stand by my earlier statement. So far as I know, Titan/Goliath are the only two hypers done entirely by Giovanola.
  23. I agree. The single rider line on JLBFM here at SFOT usally allows me to get on the ride within minutes.
  24. ^That list can't be right, La Vibora at SFOT is Intamin not Giovanola. But yes, I meant Hyper coasters.
