Well, maybe they're waiting until school's out to put a second on Ride of Steel, Viper, Motocoaster, and Mind Eraser or maybe Darien Lake got rid of them to save money? You do have a point on Darien Lake being a crappy park with lackluster coasters that mostly clones that can found in other parks!
Maybe Darien Lake thinks that it would be cheaper if they ran all of the coasters with only one train. But it's not everyone pays for it! the riders have endure a rather long wait time, it becomes a maintenance and capacity nightmare over time, and nobody seem to know what happen to the second trains!
This is not good, Darien Lake would run out of those free "front of the line" passes before the end of August if they don't get the second trains back on Ride of Steel, Viper, Motocoaster, and Predator!
If Darien Lake were to get something like Top Thrill Dargster or Kingda Ka, they wouldn't be able to afford it let alone keep it up and running for years. They would either have leave the coaster SBNO or scrap it because no other park would want it!
My guess exactly when was reading that post about a ride op saying that Darien Lake is going to something like Top Thrill Dragster in where 'Cuda Falls was.
Well, I have two wild guesses about what's going in there either a coaster or new water slides!
I can't imagine walking into Darien Lake and seeing a 400-something ft tall Top Thrill Dragster-esque coaster in where 'Cuda Falls was, or can I?
Speaking of coasters, the only type of coaster I think that Darien Lake need to put in is either a kiddie/family coaster that kids under 48" can ride with an adult.
I'm pretty sure that Darien Lake (or any other park) would not get 600 ft. tall coaster of any kind at all! I could see Darien Lake putting a (Gerstlauer) spinning coaster in where 'Cuda Falls was, next year. I wouldn't think that Herschend would get the right to use "Tony Hawk's Big Spin".
