New York State. In order to be "professionally certified", i need to get my grad degree AND have three years of teaching experience within five years. However, there are no jobs here, and UB won't give me any financial aid. Therefore, I am screwed. I can't afford to take summer classes now because they'll give me absolutely no financial aid WHATSOEVER. So now i won't graduate until dec 07 at the earliest, leaving me with 2.5 years to get my three years of teaching experience in. I'm done. All this trouble for a career which will never even pay well. Whoop dee doo, what a smart person I was when I chose to be a music major. If I could go back and bash 16-year old Nicole on the head with a book, I would. Knock some sense into her. This has simply NOT been my week.

Nightmares and Creatures of the Night are pretty good. It's pitch black and you have to follow a tiny red light from room to room, and random terrifying things happen. It's was like 10 bucks a person last time I was there, which was last year. The other ones I've been in (Frankenstein, Dracula) are REALLY dumb. And everything is really expensive too. If you're into really cheesy haunted houses, check out Frankenstein and Dracula; if you want to be really scared head to Nightmares. Pile Driver is still not operating, in case you were wondering. I haven't heard anything about putting coasters in the amusement park(s) that they have planned.

I still think it's amusing how when I went, the ride I wanted to go on the most was Avalanche, and I could not find it for the life of me. Now that I think about it, I wonder if it was closed during Volcano construction. That might be why. I also did not see the sweet Togo standup! I would have been all over that! Man, what was I doing that day? Yeah, I definitely need to head back there. Maybe it will be raining and/or cold when I go. Seems to work for me at PCW.

I agree. And I have never been to a park by myself. However, that will be changing this year. Every July 4, Martin's Fantasy Island lets Grand Island residents in for free after 5 pm. I will be going there to ride Silver Comet (back row all the way!!) and get my Crazy Mouse credit. I will probably be spending a total of fifteen minutes in the park.

I'm not a huge outdoors person, but I really enjoy camping and hiking. One time I went kayaking, that was pretty sweet too. Man, I gotta go camping some time this year!!

Amen. That, and washing two loads simultaneously, and putting the whole thing into ONE dryer. Or just hanging everything to dry. Seriously, when we had the apartment last year, we would hang EVERYTHING, even all our socks and underwear to dry lol ahh, college.
