  2. [start imagination] Come one, come all. Experience the most intense coaster experience on the planet. JOURNEY TO THE PARKING LOT This coaster is highly themed, with many near misses of old crappy '50 Chevy's and has the totally unique theme of a parking lot. For just $25 extra, park your car under the coaster, for a one-of-a-kind experience! Board your '92 Ford and battle other theme park patrons for a competition of parking spots! Only at Knott's Berry Farm, less bnag for your buck! [End imagination] Honestly though, I really hope Knott's outdoes themselves for this coaster because the last good coaster was Xcelerator. ---Brent
  3. Thanks Taylor! It will just be my dad and me on this trip, so I think I'll be able to walk through all of the casinos. Anymore money saving options are greatly appreciated! ---Brent
  4. I can see it now: HEY EVERYONE! COME JOIN SNOOPY AND FRIENDS ON THE NEWEST ROLLER COASTER AT KNOTT'S BERRY FARM! TRASH CAN: THE RIDE! Due to overage of trash cans throughout Cedar Fair parks, we've decided that you should finally be able to experience what it is like to be a trash can. Spin around while going through an intense circut at the world record breaking speed of 0.2 MPH! Let fear strike your hearts as you drop from heights as high as 7 inches! Only at Knott's Berry Farm in 2007! Less bang for more buck! [End imagination] ---Brent
  5. True Grit 9/10 I love old Western flicks, so my dad said I might enjoy this one. I really thought it was well-made, John Wayne really knows how to act! Great movie, wouldn't mind seeing it again sometime. ---Brent
  6. UPDATE Hey everyone- I've been looking around for a while this morning, and have found several nice deals. My total trip cost would be $295.21 not counting the costs of food and extra money for souveniers. I think I'll bring about $315.00 because my dad will be covering food costs. I've been looking at this one particular hotel outside of Vegas that will only cost us $269.75 for three nights. I'm splitting the cost with my dad, so we each have an even fare. My agenda is as follows: Friday, July 13th - Arrive, Explore the Strip, Buffalo Bills Saturday, July 14th - Speed: The Ride, Manhattan Express, M&M World, movie Sunday, July 15th - Stratosphere, Adventuredome, Star Trek: The Experience Monday, July 16th - Check-out, last-minute attractions, head home If there is any attraction worth doing that I have missed, please let me know. I can probably fit them in somewhere throughout the days. I will defenitly make time to see such shows as Treasure Island, Bellagio Fountains, Mirage volcano, etc. This is not yet final, seeing we haven't made any reservations yet, but it's about 85%. ---Brent
  7. ^ Yeah, you may not have been able to see the wall. It was in the Gauntlet scare zone is was defenitly well camoflauged. Honestly, I really hope this coaster thrills me more than there last attempt. ---Brent
  8. Ah, Darkness (Dinosaur) strikes again. That was probably one of my least favorite rides of my trip, really lame compared to Indy. Anyways, glad you enjoyed Florida as much as me Jahan! Great photos, maybe next time for me. Brent "That's not our dino!" Shenton
  9. The Spiderman overflow line is freakin HUGE! I mean, they could easily fit a small, compact coaster right there. As for new island, what would it be? I think all good concepts have been taken. Brent "New for 2007, the TPR Island!" Shenton
  10. Excellent Photo TR Tom! I missed you at DLR by one day! Oh well, maybe next time. Anyways, I don't think you would want to meet up with a freakin 12 year (almost 13) old kid. ---Brent
  11. 1. I find it funny that KBF tries to theme their construction walls (at Haunt, it was like covered with vines and stuff, in one of your pictures they put lights ontop of it) 2. That exit is Kingdom of the Dinosaur's old one I really hope that this coaster is themed, I mean if you look really close at Xcelerator, you'll find that it is actually themed! Jaguar, is actually themed! The worst coaster on the themeing level is defenitly Montezuma's Revenge. Brent "10 brownie points for me!" Shenton
  12. Probably since things have been so busy around the Alvey house because of the kid and just your regular hectic jobs, I'm guessing that Elissa, you just haven't had the time to change these? Correct me if I'm wrong. ---Brent
  13. Morgan trains + backwards = Eternal death and pain All be in town and will be only at SFMM and DLR during that period. But I doubt you would want to meet up with a 12 (almost 13) year old kid. ---Brent
  14. Might be able to go to Disneyland on New Year's. I've never done that before and I've had several people recommend it. ---Brent

    ACE

Enough about ACErs, I think all is in order to start a TPR club. Just pay like a little less than what ACE makes you pay per year and be able to go to different meets and stuff. Or maybe I'm just being really stupid and this will never happen. I need to sleep more. ---Brent
  16. Wow, I really need to get up on these DVDs. Don't own a single one. Well, looks like it's officially time to start pleading to my dad. ---Brent
  17. This year's April wasn't that bad, I think I went to DLR a couple of times and it was pretty empty. Like 30 minute waits for Space Mountain. It also depends which 3 weeks you are going. If you want to do everything Socal has to offer, I suggest moving the trip back to May and after Labor Day weekend, just so you can go to the waterparks and the parks won't be as crowded. ---Brent P.S. I went opening day of Soak City this year, and the park was EMPTY
  18. Silver Bullet at Knott's The first time I rode this I was like, "Yeah, that was cool! Let's go on it again!" Then I got off it for the second time and realized "Wow, this coaster sucks!". Revenge of the Mummy at USF I still like this ride a lot, but after the first 3 rides, I realized "Idiana Jones is so much better than this!" It was rough, but it was fun. ---Brent
  19. Wow, looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Maybe next time I can join in on the TPR craziness! (I doubt it) ---Brent One of the only pictures I could salvage. *sigh* I miss Orlando
  20. I'm curious to which part of the park it will be in. I seriously hope it's not in Camp Snoopy because that will automatically not make it thrilling. My guess would be Ghost Town, right under Silver Bullet. ---Brent
  21. Hey all! I'm possibly planning a trip to Vegas next year, this is what I've come up with so far: Speed: The Ride- All-day wristband- $19.95 Desperado: Half-day - $22.00 Canyon Blaster: All-ride wristband - $22.95 Stratosphere: Tower admission and 3 rides - $23.95 Manhattan Express: $12.50 Star Trek- The Experience: $38.99 M&M World: Free Total cost of attractions: $140.34 If you can give me advice on where I should stay or anything else I should do, please just post here. I'm really looking forward to this since the last time I visited Las Vegas was in 1999. Remember, I'm trying to keep this on a small budget, so money-safe options would be nice. ---Brent
  22. Rock'n Roller Coaster ---Brent
  23. Now, the moment you've all been waiting for... RYAN TAKES ON BENCH THE RIDE! ---Brent
