    Tampa Trip

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm going tomorrow and right now just looking for some deals (parking, food, tickets, etc.) I'll be going again in 2 days I think so I'll be a seasoned veteran by then.
  2. ^I guess I see what you mean but its suppose to be innovation yet feasible. Submitted! Just finished up my last touches and submitted the park 5 minutes ago to NE. I figure it takes, what like 2 or 3 weeks until I find out my score? I submitted it as a Spotlight (min 50%). I'm going to post a full tour of the completed park and, once NE releases it, I will upload it on the Exchange here. Thanks for everyone's support and words of encouragement.
  3. So I've been getting a lot of positive feedback at NE from veterans and tenderfoots alike. Here's a building I finished last night and only have a 5x15 area to fill and then I'm done with the park (finally). It overlooks the sea and is in the bottom of this picture. Any ideas as to what I should put there? Seaside Restuarant.BMP Seaside Restuarant, a really painful creation to make

    Tampa Trip

Dear anyone who wants to help me out, I'm going on a Tampa trip next week and will definitely be going to Busch Gardens Tampa. Having never been to Tampa before, I want to hear what you all think is absolutely necessary to do at Busch Gardens. For example, what seat do I have to ride for Kumba, Cheetah Hunt, etc? Where should I not sit on Gwazi, Sheikra, etc? Wheres the best place to get food? Overall, I just want to hear what I have to do. If you know some secrets about the park (how to save $5 even), do share. The question is not time; I'm spending about 4 days in Tampa, 2 of which are dedicated to Busch Gardens. In addition, I am heading to Orlando for 1 day to either go to Universal Islands of Adventure or Sea World. I really want to go to both, but if I had to pick one, which and why? Kraken and Manta look insanely awesome, while the WWHP and Incredible Hulk also look insane. I may go to both (unlikely, though). Once again, any info on both park rides, food, etc., is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jet
  5. Thanks guys for your comments. I'm happy you all went with #1 as I also believed that was the best one. What is this? Not on NE, so you say. www.nedesigns.com/topic/25590/indian-point-ballpark/ Just started a forum for the park while watching the Cardinals at Marlins game and am going to advertise before I submit the park. Drop by and leave a positive comment (maybe I'll get some "street cred" at NE).
  6. For a kiddie ride, "Storm" doesn't sound like a great name and it needs some color. Also, work on the overall foliage a little. Very good.
  7. Hey guys, Almost done, just putting in the last building and finishing touches. Heres a new pic of a rollercoaster (i guess?) that I made called Tidal Wave (open to other names if you think of something better). I have 2 options, both of which I like. Tell me if you like Option #1 or Option #2. Option 1.BMP Option #1 Option 2.BMP Option #2
  8. ^^and maybe change it from grass to dirt with some added shrubs, bushes, etc. Also, those supports are bad; stick with what the game gives you in my opinion. But very good station.
  9. I guess I'm just impatient and cannot wait for the download.
  10. ...well...its uhhhh...how do I say this nicely? Really phenomenumal work for the park. Are you looker for testers?
  11. ^classic. Looks just like your standard and typical work (which means its fantastic). Probably just an unfinished screen, but work on the station/queue, possibly add some roof objects.
  12. ^ and ^^, agreed. Just a tiny detail, try changing the texture under paths to give it a sharper look. Great work here.
  13. Thanks for your comments, guys. Plenty of ideas come from your Atlantic Adventures, I feel like these 2 parks are competing for the NCSO crown here at TPR and for something at NE. Feel free to take any ideas of mine to your parks, I've already taken some of yours. The volleyball net you had I wasn't a fan of but mine is waaaaay out of proportion. I changed the "O" around, it did need some fixing. This picture illustrates the in-game "hack" that I've used, I do not consider a real cheat because its in-game. Follow the directions from my picture and have fun with it. (Whenever increasing height, select the corner with the 2 highest lengths and move up. Whenever decreasing height, select the lowest corner with the 2 lowest lengths.) SCR1.BMP Follow instruction from left to right, the lowest you can make it is +10ft
  14. Nice screens here. Only problem is the station. I don't like the columns as the supports, just too open and not like a building. Try some walls and even a floor at the same level as the track inside the station. That first screen is incredible also.
  15. So close to being done... Here's a pic with some work I've done over the past week. New to the area is Mount Vesuvius (probably spelled wrong here but correctly in the game). I also might need some help from someone to hack an Intamin for me (unless you think I should keep this park entirely out-of-the-box, any trainer/glitch free). I also might start to advertise on NE, expect a topic there to emerge for this park soon. mt ves..BMP Mount Vesuvius (drop-tower) and pitching cages
  16. I'm guessing you're using the rapids on the rapids ride? I too have done that for NCSO and found it to look really good. Just be careful where you put it, i.e. under the lift might not look great. I'm still not entirely sold on the Intamin (especially with those supports) but with good foliage, you might convince me.
  17. Saw this at NE, looks incredible. Just watch for how close that kiddie-coaster is to the path, my only concern. Great to see this again.
  18. ^thats too bad, thanks for the info.
  19. Modified? Do you mean like hacked or something? Probably a 8cars thing that I have no knowledge of, I'm sure NE has a tutorial on it if you look hard enough.
  20. So I want to download RCT2 onto my new laptop. I have the game disc but do not want to bring it in the laptop with me where I'm going. Can I download the game with the disc and play it later? Or is there a way I can just play without any disc? Yes, I'm pretty bad with computers to be asking this. EDIT: I really need info on this, guys. I leave in less than 2 days.
  21. ^^^thats a pretty in-depth comment that would take me maybe 30 minutes to write. Most of those guys, I will be adding to the names of the handymen. I decided to name mechanics after pitchers, but there are about half a dozen mechanics so I have to stick with the best (Nolan Ryan, Cy Young, Marino Rivera, etc.). Also, I am naming the streets after the great managers. Here is an updated overview with some of the names for the handymen. The right side of the screen is blocked by the name-box but you can go back a couple pages for the overview and close-up on that area. 95% done: overview names.BMP Current overview with names
  22. Its great to see your dramatic improvement on your work. Nearly flawless work here, love it all. Kevin the Astronaut? Really? Just seems like that was the first name that came into your head plus the "astronaut". Of course, it doesn't hurt the great design of the park. My first thought was on Oblivion in Alton Towers. Of course, I've never been there but the futuristic/space theme fits as does the coaster's color. If thats right, no prize necessary.
  23. wow, great B&M layout. And a pretty good Morgan.
  24. Thanks but I personally love the colors of the path and they're the closest I can get to France colors (it's more Italy but oh well). I also appreciate your feedback and I may fix the supports. That's fine, the most important opinion is yours. Never do something to your work that you personally don't agree with. I respect that. Great job, again.
  25. Lots of great stuff in that photo, looks like a beautiful coaster. I'm not sure about those supports over the path though. Try something else perhaps. And the different path colors, just can't get into them. Other than those 2 minor things, great work.
