Photo TR: Chuck's Long California Weekend
TheStig replied to cfc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hey, I felt bad giving them cans of "spicy red chili", but hey you can't beat the price! Plus a can-date with Robb was all worth it. Great stuff, Chuck. It was good seeing you again! And I want that recipe for the pecan pie thing! -

^Dude, I am SOOOOOO SORRY I didn't hang out with you more! I didn't even notice you without the hair! Next time I promise. And thanks, I really did enjoy the park. I'd put it on par with SFGAm currently, I was pretty much blown away. -

I blame the photographer, I'm really not that small! See, look, I'm like half a Waffle House! Glad all of you liked it. I really did enjoy the park a lot more than I thought I would. I hope to make my return visit for WCB, so I'll possibly see a lot of you then. Thanks for reading guys! -

Yay, Sarasota!!! That was quite the epic day I might add. And thank you for the credit at Waffle House, if it makes you feel better I probably would have ordered that. Oh, and who's house is that again??? -
Hey everybody, As most of you know, TPR hosted a DVD release party following a seriously awesome day st SFMM with some great surprises thrown into the mix. This was my first visit to the park, and I will admit that it did NOT live up to all the bad things I had heard about it. I had a VERY enjoyable visit to the park and I look forward to returning soon! I didn't take a TON of pictures, but here they are anyways. Enjoy! And bye to Jahan aswell! Both of those guys are very dedicated to their jobs and perfect roll models for the new SFMM "image". I hope you enjoyed my PTR, thanks for looking! My flight was in a few hours, so it was time to say goodbye to Mike. He's one of Magic Mountain's best, honestly! We left and then came back around 5:00 so that I could ride Ninja. Ninja was great, even if it was really cold outside! We took another spin on Goliath, which I have to say had the best crew in the park. Good job, guys! Luckily it had been rebuilt just in time for us to ride. This is about how high I saw the car get the entire time I was there. We would have ridden Superman, but according to Ryan it had been torn down already... Tatsu was pretty much awesome as far as flyers go. It actually did something unlike the SUF's! Ninja was closed because of the cold. I'll come back later and get it... Here we are on Orient Express. For some reason, I look VERY little. Mike, please don't eat me! It is a really fun ride though, I enjoyed it. Revolution won't be getting rid of its OTSR's anytime soon, oh well... The next day I went back with Robb, Ryan and Mike to get the rest of my credits. Its hard to focus when there are SOOOO MANY patches on Jeff's jacket! There was sooooooooooo much food to be had! I finished up my day at SFMM with a few night rides on Viper and then Revolution. After that it was off to the Alveys! Here is one of the slides from the presentation. I didn't take any others, but this is harmless enough, right? We had a bit of a break before the presentation, so I went and got my Goliath credit. Other side of the station. You can see one of the old X trains sitting over in the transfer area. Most of the station has been painted to the dark gray and dark red color scheme. Soooooooooo many gallons of paint! Now it was time for another highlight of the day, the X2 tour! Hehe, Wes is soooooooooo silly. The Thomas Town area provides some great angles of Goliath. TT should be a nice expansion for the park! Wes found his whip back stage. Check out those rims, dawggg. Another shot of the pile of scraps. This one is better because it has 10% more Guy in it than the other one! Looks like the Flashback trains had the same demise. Oh well! Yeah, that'll buff out. The old Metro Cars are back here as well. Apparently the metro will be taken out, although its not definite yet. Tim Burkhart talked to us about why Flash back was taken down, what is going to be done with the land, and possible use for the area in the future. Mr. Metal-eating-crane and pieces of Flashback laying around behind it. More dirt. You can see where the old entry walkway was around the back. Ah, Flashback Dirt! As you can see, there is pretty much NOTHING left! Here is the part that a lot of us were waiting for....Flashback destruction tour! Thank you Mooseburger Lodge! We had a fantastic lunch! Chris demonstrates the proper way to eat the chocolate cake. Notice the Tatsu cups, those were placed on the table and filled with T-Shirts for all of us! It was time for lunch after Colossus, and my god what a lunch it was. Everything was fantastic, and just look at that cake! It honestly was some of the best carrot cake I've ever had (although I couldn't finish it)! Here is another horrible picture, this time of Colossus. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all! Its definitely a classic coaster, and I really enjoyed it. Chuck, Guy, Kyle and Wes on Batman. BTR's always pack a punch, this one was no different. Here is a horrible picture of Riddler. This standup ruled, definitely my favorite of the three I've ridden. Gold Rusher was testing, so we got in line for it and ended up being the first train of the day. It was a fun little mine train, definitely interesting! I found this thing (sky shot?) interesting. I'd like to try it someday, maybe next time... Our group headed over to Deja Vu as soon as the park opened. It was closed and nobody was in the station, so we headed elsewhere for the time being. Guy leads the way down the Tatsu exit ramp while providing helpful tips such as the dew-point from the previous night, and how humid it was today! Raaaa, I'm Tatsu! My pretzel loop is sooooooo forceful that you might deficate yourself! Please enjoy ERT on me, raaaaa! Sky Tower was not open today, but there is some work being done in the observation deck which when finished will be really awesome! On our way over to Tatsu for ERT, Neil stopped us in front of Viper where we were surprised with Viper ERT! Once we parked, we me outside of the main gates to pick up our wristbands and nametags. Eventually we were let into the park at 9:30 after the director of operations, Neil Thurman, gave us a little speech. The day started out with us waiting for parking to open up at 9am.

Hello TPR! This afternoon Mike and I were bored, so we decided with Elissa to take Kristen for a walk and get some coffee. This is our story. The names have not been changed. Screw the innocent. And I leave you with a child fast asleep in McDonalds. Thanks for reading eveybody! Mission accomplished, we have coffee. Great job team. I was impressed, my dark chocolate whatever was pretty awesome. There are SOOOOOO many people in the coffee shop! At the coffee shop. This guy must have asked Elissa 10 times if she was ordering anything. Surprise, dude, she isn't. Hello children, step into my open gate. I have sooooo much candy for you, and it's all free! Mike likes to take white dumps on his car. He also likes to eat doggie treats! There are soooo many Alvey's in this picture! Anyways, time to head out. Mmmmm pizza. This thing makes a lot of wind and keeps Kristen happy... Im pretty much ready for coffee also. I really dont drink it all that much, but if it doesnt taste like coffee then I'll drink it. Not even the two Bible points that come with Jesus will be able to save our souls. We would need soooo many points in order to do that. But wait! Our companion Jesus wants to tag along! Sadly. he had soooo many people to feed that he had to stay behind. This is Mike, but you knew that already. As you can see, he is sooooo happy to be alive right now. Maybe some coffee can fix this? -

Cooking with Colin PCR: cfc's cheesecake!
TheStig replied to TheStig's topic in Random, Random, Random
^I can die happy now knowing that, thanks Dave! ^^It actually came out REALLY good! Its not too strong of an apricot flavor, but its not bland by any means. I'll definitely make this again sometime in the future. -

TheStig replied to TheStig's topic in Random, Random, Random
^^You have no idea what would have ended up in that cheesecake should there have been Steak Sauce involved!!! ^Hahaha good movie... Story behind that shirt is that my cousin goes there, so we visited her. The shirt was a misprint as its off center a bit, so I got it for $2 as a throwaway shirt to wear around when I know its going to get messed up. This was one of those occasions! Glad you liked it! -
Hey TPR! You all probably saw Chuck's (cfc) "how to make apricot cheesecake" thread, so as a follow up I put it to good use and made my own! I'll let the picture captions do the talking, but enjoy! Oh, and really, dont send me any blenders... ..and for me to clean all of this crap up. Thanks for reading guys, and a big thank you to Chuck for the recipe! Add the Apricots to the top! Yes yes, be jealous of my Apricot placement skills. Now its time to let it chill for a few hours... Oh man, we are REALLY close to an overflow! Luckily there was juuusst enough to not cause a problem. Only one more thing left... Alright blending process complete. Boy is my arm tired now... Igor's grandfather. Does anyone still use these anymore? If you think thats good, you should see what I can do drunk! Ahhh much better, looks like a giant bird crap, but that will soon change. Now that its all in one bowl, its time to add the whip cream! Oh yes, a leaking processor means its working! One batch done, next batch ready for blending. After the lemon juice was added I mixed it all together. Yeah, Oskar was pissed. Should have been a blender you POS... But JESUS CHRIST they are hard to juice! I must have crapped myself seven times to squeeze out two tablespoons of juice (and I still havent changed myself!) To make up for the pre-made crust, I had fresh lemons from a friends lemon tree to use the juice from! Just make two batches and mix them all together! Gee, a blender would have solved this problem...you guys know what to do =] Aw tits, Oskar sucks. Wanting to be a future engineer, naturally you would think I would know what to do in this case...yeah I didn't, but I figured something out... Time to beat some city-crime...err cream cheese with the processor! Thwack! Bam! Pow! You're right Chuck, this isn't for the faint of heart! Do you know what time it is? Oskar and I know what time it is... Looks okay to me so far, time to set this all aside. Okay now we mix a bunch of sh*t together in a pot. How am I doing so far, Chuck? My cooking buddy. Not nearly as cool as Angus McNasty, but more than twice as lazy. Sturrin' the pot, sturrin' the pot...swingin' a chain, swingin' a chain... Remember to only use one envelope of gelatine, not all of them like I almost did! Annnnd pour! Time to put half a cup of that syrup to good use. Don't do thatttt....moron. He didn't go to UF... Because I don't have a blender in my posession right now, the Apricot slurry goes into this cup while I complete the next step. If any of you would not like to see a cup used in this fashon, I'm taking donations for a new blender. Its the season of giving you guys... Yes it blends! Apricot dust, don't breathe this. So far so good... Sooooo anyways, now that all sans 4 Apricot halves are in Oskar, its time to play "Will it blend?"!! Apricots helped Chuck pay for college. I helped make sure that something like that would never happen again. If you sex up Apricots, the flavor really comes out. Draining all the juice out of one of the Apricot cans. The juice will be saved for later. Eveybody meet Oskar. He single handedly helped kitchen appliances made before 1998 fail as a whole. Look at that appliance to bowl ratio! Step 1. Make crust.... Well that was easy, moving on! Awww c*ck, how do I do this? Maybe the fact that I'm wearing an FSU shirt is dumbing me down. Hey, I had to wear something that I wouldn't mind getting ruined! The tower of awesomeness that is the ingrediants for Apricot Cheesecake. You are all not worthy.
