Check back soon for more! _____________________ I need to know if anybody would be interested in a "Restaurant Contest". I have divided up a plot of land in the park into four small blocks, and I'm looking for a restaurant to go into each block. (T.G.I. Friday's, Hard Rock Cafe, Outback, Rainforest Cafe) You would be able to submit a design for the restaurant but here's the catch, you will only be allowed to use certain custom scenery. There will be several widely-used packs included (most of shyguy's) but it will be somewhat limited. Post if you're interested and I'll get started putting stuff together.

Update Year 1 Construction Hola! Hay mucho cosas en el parque ir! Plaza Mayor is nearing completion! Only some interior work left. This area will house a carousel and a circus-type show. El agua esta muy bonita. Palacio Real, which is adjacent to Plaza Mayor, is also nearing completion. Los edifiicios anarajdos estan muy buenos! Mas, pronto! Great trip report. Especially since it's Dollywood! I think Thunderhead is one of the best out there, but I'm comparing it to classics like Gwazi and Arkansas Twister... The second half makes up for the first half, IMO.

Update Year 1 Construction Hola mis amigos! Hay es tanto que ver al parque! This area of the park has a very relaxed feel, with only the sounds of the disko and the spanish music being heard. As you venture farther into the Historic Spain District you will begin to hear the screams and roars from the log flume. Mas, pronto!

HHE is gone. The "joke" was the fake re-incarnation of the park. It never happen. Hint - I never use the "glow" effect in RCT3 - I was hoping that would give it away as the actual dream.

Aloha! The waterpark saw its first day of soft-opening today! The people there mostly consisted of executives' families getting the first trial run. I heard a mostly positive response from the few people there. Check back soon for more!

Update Year 56 It was a dream. It was all a bad dream. The hotel. The indoor waterpark. The zoo. The parking lot. None of it ever happened! I awoke this morning crying just because I was so happy our Hawaiian Escape gem was still alive and standing. The park was crowded as the gates opened for the new season! The ferris wheel was bright as always. Loco was running as a Leopard train flew by. Hey, it's Excavation! As I was riding The Voyager I noticed some track! Could this finally be Project Emerald we've all been waiting for? Solar Flare was looking great as always. The sun seemed especially bright today. More soon! april fools!

Update Year 2/Phase II Announcement A bit early, I know. We might lose power tonight so I guess I thought I'd go ahead and let the cat out of the bag. APRIL FOOLS! Now here is the real Year 2 ride: Hola! Here are some teasers for the first Phase II attraction. The ride will contain a dark ride section before a 0-50 mph launch! The ride will also travel outside near the entrance. [ Most of the "action" will take place in a backstage area so it will be hard to get pictures of it. A formal press release should be released in the coming days. Mas, pronto!

Great trip report! It seems like it's always cloudy here and at Alton Towers! Stealth's tophat looked cool against the clouds, though.

I think there should someday be an "All-time best of" column. One that showcases some of the best things the site has ever done. (i.e. the big trips, Tatsu opening)

From our interview with Steve Gorman: What kind of challenges had to be overcome to allow Ravine Flyer II to travel over the highway? We needed to satisfy the requirements of PennDOT, which really weren’t too difficult. But it took several years of many discussions with their engineers and legal department to get final approval. PennDOT required the screening over the bridge to prevent any objects from falling onto the road, and chose the color blue for the bridge.
