Nice stuff they got going in that concept art. I think this is going to really redefine the park. I wonder what that second drawing is. Looks like some sort of creator walk-through. Cartoonist? Imagineer? I'm hoping for the latter.

I'm not too surprised. I didn't think it would last too long. I didn't ride it, but it doesn't look like it would be one of the must-rides for me... It was ugly too.

Great trip report. The mazes look pretty cool to me. Along the lines of the professional mazes here in Memphis that charge alot more than $5.

Graceland for some reason wants nothing to do with it which is a shame because I'm sure it would be a big draw...

Download Kingdom de España Let me say, it has been a true honor to build this park. I began working on Kingdom de España in early January as I was finishing Hershey's Hawaiian Escape. I wanted this to be the project that took me a step up. I signed it, but since I've grown up a bit since this all started I've seen how little these online petitions do. With the current economic situation, I don't think it would be feasible for anyone to spend the money to relocate or even refurbish the ride. It looks like it will sit there abandoned for quite some time, as they don't even know what they're going to do with the fairgrounds yet. Hopefully the ride will run again someday. I think it's a pretty sad reflection of the city of Memphis, tbh.

It will be interesting to see what the trains look like. (unless I've missed them already)

Update Year 10 Hola! Well, tomorrow is the last day of the season. I'm gonna stick around for the firework show so I'll have some pictures of that for everybody. Don Quixote is lonely today! Palacio Real got a fresh coat of paint this year and a newly-updated film inside. Everything's looking good here. Still the only major water ride in the park... Rico y Loco is one of the "oldest" rides in the park. Mas, pronto! __________ Hey folks, this is the last update before the big finale update that will be posted on Tuesday. On Wednesday, October 1st, 2008, the official download for Kingdom de Espana will be posted. I had intended for there to be one more update tomorrow but since I'm now caring for a new puppy I went ahead and combined them.

Just curious, anybody know if they ever got that travelling coaster that they brought in running?
