  1. ^^ Saw a few BGT staff members last weekend and as they walked by they were talking about how they may be riding Cheetah Hunt soon since it was opening for GP in a few weeks. They were saying they should hear something about staff rides in a week or so.
  2. I went to the park for a few hours this morning to see the latest developments with Cheetah Hunt and to actually see the trains running the full course. This thing looks great and should definitely be a great ride. I took a few videos and edited them together a bit. Unfortunately I did not get video of the launch out of the station or the second launch up the tower, but that second launch does look like it will be fun. They were testing a lot first thing but I started the day by heading the opposite direction in hopes to get a few rides on Sheikra before the massive amount of groups got to the back of the park. Unfortunately Sheikra was down most of the morning. By the time I got back up to the front of the park by Cheetah Hunt they weren't testing as much, probably b/c it was lunch time and I left the park not much longer after that. Also, for those worried about the speed in the early testing videos....it is definitely running faster now. On to the video and pictures... upside down support banner on the edge of africa pathway into the trench... ...and out of the trench plaza area viewed from edge of africa skyride ride regulations area details ride entrance and station the one train I saw launch when I made it back to the front after this it was a lunch break Cheetah Run banners lock... second launch trench inside the cheetah house cheetah run construction more cheetah run construction tower footers upskirt what could this be? the cutest baby cheetah cub ever! he woke up briefly to look around and give a quick yawn but then it was back to sleep. these guys are too cute!
  3. ^That's pretty incredible! What an awesome thing to share with the world, and so amazing the person who found it in Melbourne wrote about it.
  4. I would be highly willing to bet it looks something like this, just with different colors, a different setting, and no human riders. Either that or you can join facebook (or log on) and like SFGAd's fan page to view the video yourself. The only thing even mentioning it is a post saying "who wants to see a video of Green Lantern Testing?" and then no video anywhere. A link was posted to their webpage....it's night, tough to see anything at this point. Just look a few posts up and you'll find your link.

  6. QFT. And I'll be there in the morning as well to check on the progress. Looking forward to seeing some of the details that are visible!
  7. ^I have to save up money for my flight up for the NE Trip. But we'll see....it does sound awesome!
  8. Wow....I haven't been to Kennedy Space Center since I was a kid, yet it looks so similar to what I remember with the bus tour. I definitely need to go back now that I'm older and could appreciate it more. And pretty awesome you were able to see the shuttle on the launch pad.
  9. Is Cheetah Run the "unofficial" name for people that refuse to call it Cheetah Hunt? I know that's what the interactive cheetah exhibit will have, but I've just seen a lot of people referring to the coaster as Cheetah Run. Just curious really. Edit: Thanks for adding pics of the cheetah run portion to make your original post more clear...it will get there eventually. Looking forward to seeing the completed exhibit.
  10. ^That's what I'm thinking. Lightning might strike me dead if I entered that place. I would love to read a TR though!
  11. This looks awesome. Can't wait to make it back over to check this out!
  12. Let's not get into this again... Was the POV they posted not good enough? Looked awesome to me!
  13. Unfortunately that's customer service everywhere anymore. I've noticed it a lot more lately with a new job and seeing what I work with and those that come in or call looking for work. Professionalism just isn't taught anymore and it's pretty sad. I'm not saying you have to walk in with a suit on for every job you apply for....but just be slightly professional, clean and "put together" and it would go a long way!
  14. Went to the park for a little bit this morning to see how testing was going and also to see the baby cheetah. Took a few pictures and a quick video. The whole area really does look great. I can't wait for this to be finished. sleepy cheetah cutest baby EVER!
  15. ^^If I had a 20 second wait on Sheikra's brakes I would be ecstatic. I'll probably be there Sunday...I'll check it out. But I'm not holding my breath that this weekend will be any different from the last 5 or 6 times I've been this year. ^Just made Sunday a definite for me!
  16. ^ But not worth wasting good ice cream on stupidity!
  17. Absolutely beautiful place! Great report. Someday I'll get over to Italy.
