Not really strange, but I bumped into David Davidson from the band Revocation in the line for the X-Treme Frisbee at Canobie. I saw a dude in front of me who happened to be wearing a vintage Voivod shirt; I complimented him on it, we got talking, and he eventually dropped that he was David Davidson. Nice guy, too, very humble and down-to-earth.

I friggin' love making things uncomfortable for face-devouring couples. Wolf whistles, thumbs-up, suggesting acts to perform, complimenting them on their performance... yeah, I know that everything I listed is a dick move, but so is devouring the face of your significant other in public. That's what your car is for, people; queues are NOT forums to express how much you love the taste of your bf/gf's face. -

Christ, this has got to be damn near the nadir of Western civilization. The sad thing is that the English department at my old high school routinely sees stuff like this. Actually, no. They routinely see stuff WORSE than this. I wish I was kidding, but I'm not. -

Damn, that looks like it's going to pull some monster forces. Might actually be a reason to go to the absolute pile of a country known as France. -
Flashback is probably going to go in 2013, don't worry. I never really had a problem with roughness from either of the Vekomas, as I'm tall enough that my head is above the restraints and thus does not get whacked, while my neck is muscular enough (not like George Fisher, but still pretty thick) to take the hits without any pain. They both do pull decent forces, which is the only reason I still ride them.

No, I tripped him because he shoved past quite a few people and tried to do the same to me. I don't care who you are, you don't cut in front of me. -

I tripped some little middle school bitch at SFNE when he got off the Cyclone, then proceeded to run back and try and cut me. Stuck my foot out and watched him land on the railing face-first. He threatened to **** me up until he saw that I was almost a foot taller than him and quite a bit heavier, then he told me to watch my ass as he stormed off with his little buddies. I mockingly told him I was terrified; of course, I didn't see him for the rest of the day. -

Damn near had to wreck a little bitch the last time I went to SFNE. Bunch of band and chorus kids from all the local schools were mobbing the place, and one of them tried to cut in front of me in the Pandemonium line. Told him to get back to the start of the line; he got mouthy and started asking me if I was going to do something about it. Then he noticed that I was roughly 4-5 inches taller than he was and quite a bit bulkier, and after I said "Yeah, I'll ****ing do something about it if you don't get your ass back to where you were right mother****ing now", he left the line. Didn't have any trouble after that. -
Went there the other day. Cyclone seems faster with the new track, but the ridiculous ejector in the back was somewhat diminished. Dunno why. Thunderbolt was running nicely, Bizarro was not quite up to its usual standards, but it's still friggin' Bizarro. Batman, meanwhile, was actually running pretty damn well; trims seemed to be off and it was pulling some nice forces. Mind Eraser was your typical hang-n-bang but was pulling some pretty impressive forces, while Flashback was actually rather smooth and seriously packing some g's in the back when going in reverse. Finally, GCG is decent; lightly braked, though the theming does help bump it up a notch. Didn't ride Pandemonium, as the line was enormous throughout the day. Nothing exciting happened, really, outside of the Kontiki ride op who was blaring "Me So Horny" in a painfully obvious ploy to get fired.

It is conceivable that it could have a very steep lift and a twisting first drop ala GeForce. -

Come to think of it, SFNE Mind Eraser could qualify based on my last ride on it. Then again, that was back in '05, so I've no idea if it's improved or not. I'm guessing not. -

SFNE Cyclone was quite brutal in the back the last time I rode it, but with the ejector I was getting, I didn't care.
