I went to SFOG for the first time ever last month. WOW was GASM bad. People were crying coming back into the station. It was more painful than mean streak and from what I remember, hurcules. Ninja was surprisingly awesome though.

I lost my iPhone on nitro around 9:00am. At 11:00am, I went to the lost and found to file an official claim and they had already found it. They have a dedicated "picking team" that walks the ride paths and collects all lost items. I was seriously impressed that they already had found it. You should contact the lost and found department in person( because you will have to identify something original/specific about your item) as they probably have your iPod . Lost and Found is located on the far north side of main street, closest to Nitro. I believe their operating hours are park open to 5:00pm. A few years ago a lady friend of mine lost her phone somewhere within the park. We did not realize that she did not have it until we had already made it home. When we called the park, they had found it and even shipped it to us! They told us they had found it by el toro, about a foot from the water!

The drop towers could definitely go on the back side. The support structure for Ka is a triangular shape, so if placed on the backside, they would face away from each other, and possibly need some sort of extra engineering for minimal support near the top of the towers. If Intamin can do it with their impulses, i'm sure they could minimally support a drop tower.

^If your talking about people from Camden going to Dorney, I do not see how that is possible. Camden is so poor most residents cannot afford to even enjoy the attractions their own city has, let alone pay tolls, transportation, and admission to a park almost 2 hours away. Reading and Allentown may be contributing to this "crowd" you speak of, since they have had an increase in criminal activity in certain areas of their cities.

^I love SFA's ride collection. Superman is my least favorite ride in the park though. It rattles to high-hell, Has a very strange kink at the top of the first camelback, and since I'm in shackles the whole time, I am just waiting for someone dressed in leather to start whipping me at some point during the ride. Wild one is worth the price of admission alone. -
Replacing the wetlands elsewhere is the issue. Wetlands serve a purpose. This is a huge development in the middle of the wetlands, where destruction would have effects that are far reaching. They help with flooding and pollution control. Loss of wetlands for this project increases the risk of flooding for that area, and an increase of pollution into the ocean. Building wetlands elsewhere will not help to counteract the loss of wetlands in the meadowlands (and the fact that there are not any other place to add wetlands in the meadowlands either).

The new trains have been on for a few years now. If you click the link in the nor' easter part of the blog post, there is a reference to some track work being done. -

Just saw this post from Morey's on Facebook. http://www.moreyspiers.com/blog/moreys-piers/you-gotta-break-some-eggs-to-make-an-omelet Some very cool and interesting stuff. There are some artist renderings of water park upgrades, as well as this little tidbit: "The Nor’easter has just been re-shaped in order to smooth the ride. If you have not ridden the coaster in a while, please try it next summer. I think you will really enjoy its new smoothness" The post also states that they are moving full steam ahead to prepare for the new coaster! -
It is so weird that the new trains on the nor easter are so rough. They are actually new trains, not just retrofitted with new restraints. The old trains with OTSRs ran like a dream (for an SLC anyway). I could re-ride it over and over with those. These new trains are insanely rough, and I generally just skip it now when i find myself in wildwood. It seems like Morey's plan to make the ride more tolerable kind of backfired. Glad you enjoyed the shore, and saw that there is no connection between the show and the southern Jersey beaches!

So should all parks with coasters built on or before 1990 just start scrapping them because they are too old?? Doesn't seem logical to me. No. That is not at all what i said. If they are removing them, then yes. especially one that is unpopular. But by no means should a ride be scrapped just on the basis that it exists, and is old. -

SFA is not my home park, i usually only go once every few years since the water park and the amusement park together is a great value. So my opinions on this ride being put in are not one of a crazed fanboy. I understand anyone that complains about this ride coming to their park. You would think after ten years six flags could at least splurge on a small scale new coaster. It is so old, I can't believe six flags is not going to just scrap it. What SFA needs in a coaster is something family oriented. -

I would have rather the park gotten Millennium Flyers for Roar instead of a new coaster. -

I am sure you would have been refunded had you reported your injury at the park. Stop whining. -

How long do they plan on keeping the ride there? It is already 21 years old. Just does not make sense to me. -

Great. Another relocated stand-up on the east coast. I was really hoping for a Eurofighter.
