I'm going next week. Expect a PTR. And 30 minute waits? Will it be as crowded next weekend? -
Best Arrow Suspended Coaster

I've only been on Ninja so I can't really vote, but I'm going on BBW next week! YIPEE!!! I wish there were more of them around. -
Island of Dreams [RCT3]
smallish replied to sickskillz14's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
That's a pretty neat coaster, but it starts to get a little unrealistic after the brake run. It's okay, but could you please take out the double heartline roll? I would recomend changing the colors too. Right now it looks like a Superman coaster. The video was kind of bland too. For your next video try using the Flying Camera Route Editor, or at least have off-ride shots. I can make videos for you if you want. -
Island of Dreams [RCT3]
smallish replied to sickskillz14's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Nice park and great station, but if it's actually an island suround it with water and add a harbor, etc. I also think you should make it more dream-ish instead of like an arabian marketplace. Nice coaster though. Can't wait to se your next land. I also think you should add castles and stuff, like Disneyland. -
I want to get pictures/off-ride videos/POVs when I go to BGW, but I need some advice on cameras. I have two cameras, a small handheld olympus, which has a long battery life, great picture taking, and a low quality video option. The other is a big Canon DV camcorder, which has a pretty short battery life, and records super high quality outdoor footage, and has a nice zoom, but is heavy and inconvient to carry around. So my question is should I bother even bringing the Canon, or should I bring it for the quality and which is better to record POVs with? EDIT: Oops, sorry if there are already 42 topics on this subject. I also don't want to get my cameras destroyed, cause my family would kill me (already lost one at Disneyland a few years ago). How should I hold the camera?

Walt Disney World Epcot Discussion Thread
smallish replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Epcot rides should be like Adventures thru inner space. You only get a once in a lifetime chance to get "shrunk", so it's very unique, but then you see subatomic particles whizzing by and other actually stuff once you get shrunk. Epcot should be a place where you can get shrunk, go to outer space, be a crash test dummy, go under the sea, etc. all while being completely safe. Epcot should add a ride in the living seas pavillion where you go to the bottom of the sea in a submarine in search of a giant squid. Of course I've never even been to Epcot so I don't know much about the park. -

I've been on three b&ms that go upside-down and all the other B&Ms that go upside down seem to have similar drops. Basically, it seems to me like once you've been on one B&M drop, you've been on them all. Are there any b&m looper drops that are different? Sorry if this topic is qhite pointless and maybe it would have been better posting this in the "best drops" thread, but oh well.

I'm working on Thor: God of Thunder, a B&M hyper. It's going to make Fenrir look like a small excited puppy made it. Here's a teaser photo (It's going to look a lot different than this in the final version, so don't fret). I'm going to be using a lot of custom scenery packs for this so it looks the way I want it. Enjoy! EDIT: How do you hide the automatic supports? EDIT: Two better more up to date photos added! Check out da station!!! Entering the station Station overview, will look really different soon.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
smallish replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
They're SO concerned about safety, like when Scream was colosed due to high winds once some boys were like, "Someone probably died or something!" or "I bet someone flew off the train!" or "Aliens probably came down and expoded a piece of track!" It also annoys me when they say untrue facts from other people like some coaster at SFMM has a jump. Someone actually insisted that was true to me once. -
Banshee sort of inspired me to make this track. Video and park file below (extract the picture to My Pictures/RCT3) Requires: -Soaked -Wild Optional -Pumper's Steelworx (for extra supports) -Klinns Arches (for the structure in the entrance) -DRP Lightz (for a few colored lights at night) I do not recomend going out of your way to download the custom scenery. After this I plan to make Nidhogg and Thor, so keep an eye out. fenrir.zip park file Fenrir.wmv The video Overview No, the station does not look so insanely cool during daytime. Nightime the logo

Un-named Park
smallish replied to ParkTrips's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Don't use the in-game rocks. Use the awsome ones in the Leftoverz scenery pack. -
It's a little too underground. Lower the ground in places it isn't underground for more realism. It would look great if it had awsome teraforming (or however you spell it). Make a long and well themed line that goes under many of the inversions. Oh, and if you don't mind making a completely different (but cool) theme, try Fenrir (scroll down a bit). You could make it race around snow-caped peaks. I'm pretty sure there's a snowy tree custom scenery piece by Elegitina (or however you spell it). EDIT: Nevermind, I think I'm going to use that name for myself! But use mythology.

I can't wait until I go! Is AC better than Goliath (sfmm)? Is BBW better than Ninja (sfmm)? Is Alpie better than Batman? Is Loch Ness better than Viper (sfmm) Anyway, a B&M smooth 4-D would rock! The things that X lack are smoothness, airtime, and a tad more disorienting flipping. Of course, like most B&Ms it would probably only have a fun, intense begining and the rest would be boring, plus it would probably be a lot slower paced than X.

Well, the west side has two classic woodies both named Giant Dipper, and one of them is REALLY awsome. Magic Mountain rocks too. And Disneyland has some great rides (including Indianna Jones Adventure, which Disneyworld doesn't have:lolr:).

Un-named Park
smallish replied to ParkTrips's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^It's custom scenery for RCT3. Get it here (it will install and then it will be in the game's scenery list) EDIT: Cool video, BTW. The helix right before the station rocks! -
I've decided to make a small park with a few fairground rides. (Worlds of Adventure is not canceled for this project, BTW.) Here are the pictures. Keep in mind that most things are from being finished. The funhouse Powered coaster! Really exciting! Super Looper! Here is the mini train ride. All fairs are required to have one, and they are required to go through a not-to-scale barn.

Wow, Geboldi parks are really coming along! What's this new coaster's layout?
