  1. Batman, specifically SFoG's seems to be the most intense to me. It absolutly does not stop. The only place that you could possibly consider a deadspot is the S turn before the first flatspin. I'd follow that up with Kumba. Kumba's diving loop > Zero G (really negative g) roll > Cobra roll is nuts. And that little hop while you're in the trench going into the cobra roll is one of those cool touches they haven't done in a long time.
  2. Can't believe I'm the first, but going with the theme of the week... Goliath at SFoG. I really didn't think too much of this coaster when it was announced and thought placing it on top of everything was an ugly decision. After this weekend though, I have confirmed I'm an idiot and don't know what the hell I'm talking about. The ride is beautiful and amazing! Its probably one of the most photogenic rides I've seen. The airtime is great in every seat, but I definitly think its a back seat ride. The first two hills are extremely graceful and offer a great float in all the seats. Hill the is excellent and seems to sustain more air than Titan(Goliath SFMM)'s 3rd hill. The helix is so much more powerful than I had expected. I really didn't expect the train to maintain that much speed on the climb up. The two hills running back into the park after the overbank are wicked. At the end of ERT I was starting to hurt from being ejected into the restraint and then immediatly slammed back into the seat from these two drops. It really is not over hyping from locals. The ride is damn good. I haven't ridden Apollo, but in my opinion Goliath absolutly destroys Raging Bull. I would also easily take this over Magnum(only ridden a couple of times, but didn't like it all that much), or Superman at SFA (Though Superman does have a better pullover on the first drop, thats all that beats Goliath in comparison)
  3. We saw you riding Acro solo while we were in Goliath's station. 5+ rides in a row?!? So how is being a eunuch treating you? Damn! How was I the only one who didn't know my badge could get me into the FP line for Goliath. I am filled with regret of epic proportions now.
  4. Time to update with the rest of my tastes since Friday. Came back from the park and had a Sweet Water Blue while sizing pics before getting in the shower. Then I headed downtown. They got tall buildings. 5 Seasons last night, Max Lagers today! Lazy eye and a Max "Gold" belgian pilsner Some tasty, slightly out of focus BBQ Chicken Pizza. This is my staple at brewpubs. I've never had one with big peppers, pesto, and citrus sour cream though. It was most excellent! Hop Face! Their IPA was awesome. 12%?!!? Good lord! Stopped off at Green's after Max Lager's to get a couple of things for my friends Damn what a selection! They even had a cellar for Belgian brews.
  5. ^Only got about 7-10 rides all weekend. I'll be back though! Here's my "coasters only" shots from today after all the GAP fo's left. As always I took too many so check the thread in the first post for the entire report, or here Here they is: Killer 3rd drop over the lake Artsy no? I <3 the, my Mindbender Always in my thoughs are you, Derek. I think this came out really nice. Standard Batman. I still maintain that this is the most forceful of the 5 I've ridden. Deja Vu, 2 days strong They spinnin' Ninja Ninja lookin' awesome GASM! Superman, not so super with 10 minute stacking and a full queue. Great ride, maybe I'll get a spin next time.
  6. No buyers remorse? It looked like Tommy was going to have a coronary if James didn't quit.
  7. Yeah, I had to get my Goliath rides in. I actually only rode Goliath, Mindbender, B:TR, Crime Wave(awesome) and Deja Vu! in the whole 2 days I was there. It was packed out, plus the rain. Not too concerned I've riden everything else too many times. I had an awesome time despite the crowds. I took a bunch of coaster only pics today, so if you're into that sort of thing check the thread in the first post later on.
  8. ^Don't wait. It just might be my favorite park. If they had Mr. Freeze also, fahgetaboutit. Also, big thanks to the Goliath ops. They were doing a excellent job. Welp. Gotta clean up the room and then head back over for a couple of hours before heading back to town.
  9. Ninja looks really good now. We were at the pavilion for lunch and its extremely eye catching.
  10. Last two for the night. Exhausted. Goliath is amazing. I've never had my back slammed back into the seat after amazing ejector air. Each hill is just more intense. Goliath at Sunset Tommy and Jenn gearing up for the awesomeest review.
  11. Heading back to the park, just stopped back by the room and dropped off some goodies I picked up from my side trip into downtown ATL, and update my post. I can see Goliath's 3rd hill from my window and its callin'!
  12. Just came back to clean up and grab a brew. Thought I'd go ahead and put up the pics I've gotten so far. I put up way too many and I didn't even upload all the one's that I took so the extra long TR is over here: http://www.brainville.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2841 Here's a few shots Goliath, not opening for 3 hours. Teh Tommizle I don't know, but I'm not comfortable Lots of folks! Deja Vu Ran!! Well, until it rolled back while we were on it. Never before seen ACEr buffet $1800 piece of plywood. Shifty Ninja Pretty Goliath! Baller Humpback Never before seen #45 I'll be back at the park soon. I'll be postin' them in the thread. Time for a shower right now though!
  13. Down here in ATL and have been dodging crap weather all day. Finally back at the hotel after one of the most perilous drives I've had in a while. Kicking back with a local brew. The Sweetwater 420 Extra Pale Ale. Quality product. Next up was a Munich Helle. Very nice. Sampling their fine Sledgehammer. My favorite of the ones I had After kicking it at the Wingate for a few I headed to North Atlanta and checked out 5 Seasons Brewery
  14. Why can't we document inane details of our lives for the internet without harrasment?
  15. Pretty decent April afternoon Of course Wally's stock got fluffed in $7 incriments Went down to see the Redbirds play thanks to free tickets and free food at the picnic pavilion! Pregaming and cooking lunch with my buddy Bob and a North Coast Pranqster
  16. Kumba's only 2 days from celebrating its 13th birthday you sick bastards!
  17. I don't know what our town will do if that neon sign ever gets destroyed. Great pics. Nice Arby's execution! I really want to make it back up there and check out Storm Runner sometime.
  18. The show wasn't about Family Guy, it was about Comedy Central censoring their show by pulling the Virgin Mary ep among other things. Also, see this article. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/4909820.stm Besides they made fun of themselves just as much as they did on Family Guys writing. And you can't deny some of those FG clips they made wouldn't be right at home in the actual show..."Peter being ridden by Knight Rider" Im looking at you.
  19. My toaster brings all the boys to the yard..... No. Will not continue.
  20. Oh, and the toaster? The toaster is the center of this entire investigation.
