  1. Awesome PTR! I love that knock off Wizarding world section!
  2. ^ But really, I've found every seat on CGA's Grizzly to be the same.
  3. ^Yep, for one, Maurers spinner WAY more than Gerstlauers do, also, most of the layouts for MS's are much better as well.
  4. ^ Have you even bin on a Maurer spinning coaster?! Those things are insane!! I would love to see one there.
  5. I completely agree!!! A terrain woody from Intamin maybe?
  6. ^ Those have been mentioned many times before and after the Superman news. They look fun though!
  7. Ive heard this comment on a lot of different rides- It amazes me how the GP can find a rough ride fun!
  8. ^ I hope they do a water cup challenge if they do an event again, I remember my hand being completely numb at the end of ERT. A Superman water challenge would seem awesome and insanely hard at the same time!
  9. Superman Ultimate coming in to SFDK is defiantly unique, as well as V2.
  10. ^ There's a little stand in front of Kong that sells tons of Medusa merch, everything from t-shirts to shot glasses!
  11. Medusa and V2 are two of the parks star attractions, so I would recommend checking those two out. The park also has a great collection of flat rides, which are spread out all over the park, but Sky Screamer should be the first one you should go on, due to long lines in the middle of the day and night. And don't forget about the animals, SFDK not only has TONS of wild life shows, but they also have a same zoo like area in the back of the park( with the chance to ride a real elephant ) So that's the stuff I recommend.
  12. ^ There is room for new slide, but the question is what slide? You could probably fit any Proslide bowl into the Didgeridoo Falls tower, and if you wanted to go big, you might be able to fit a Proslide rocket( or any water coaster) in the plots of land in and near the lazy river.
  13. Does the Big Spin shirt say "Tony Hawk's Big Spin" or just "Big Spin"? It only says Big Spin, I guess it's because of the Tony Hawk clothing line.(As well as Birdhouse.)
  14. ^SFGAm's V2 still has the yellow and blue color scheme. I still have my Big Spin shirt that I got in 09, it has no picture of the ride, just the rides logo.
  15. I'm glad to see El toro get the number one spot again, it really does deserve it! And no surprise seeing the Voyage in the top 5, I'm honestly convinced that if they were to add those trains that White Canyon as, there would still be people who love it.
  16. This looks like this is going to be a fantastic ride! Can't wait to see more!
  17. I gotta admit, when I first saw this photo, it looked like the park suffered from flood damages recently. Well, there's is demolished wood sitting on the S:UF site, so maybe the Zonga station was demolished? Also, why is the concrete slab flooded when it is a few feet above the ground? Unless the concrete slab was also demolished. Also, Pandemonium's enterance may be used for S:UF. If it was demolished, than whats that big piece of concrete that the truck is siting on. It seems like the wood is to far over to be Zonga's station, and besides, why take it out when if you can use it as a queue?
  18. Big Spin was a popular ride, but yet they took it out. And even if the park was to take out boomerang, you could fit something pretty big if your were to use land of Boomerang and the Iwerks theater. Was Zonga popular? I never got to even see it Not sure, Ive only seen it closed. But, I have heard a lot of people complaining about it being rough.
  19. The train does not hit the supports.
  20. This is a little off topic, but I was just watching a video clip from a TV from the early 2000's that was talking about Medusa. In the show, they where pretty much saying that the ride was an airtime machine. So that got me thinking, have any of you thought Medusa was loaded with airtime? I mean there's some decent airtime on in the first drop and the zero-g roll, but I've never gotten any on the loop and the sea serpent roll like the show said.
  21. It depends, if it opens on a school day(like sky screamer), forget it! But if it opens on a weekend were I can get to the park an hour early, then yes. Opening Day for SFDK is March 17, a Saturday. The only time in the Spring that SFDK is open on weekdays is April 2 - 6 & April 9 - 13 and the Fridays after that. Now, how da heck are we going to get ERT? If you saw the post that I quoted, its pretty obvious I was talking about the opening of Superman, not the park. And, most SF parks open there new attractions around May/June, not April.
  22. As said in the last page by netdvn, Sky Screamer is trademarked by Marineland Canada, so they were forced to give it another name. I don't care why they didn't use that name "Sky Screamer", I was just saying that its nice to see it have a different name, even if that park was forced to do so.
  23. It's nice to see a new SF Star Flyer not using the name "Sky Screamer". It seems like the park is doing the same thing they did with Vampire, take ride that every other SF park is getting, theme and paint it that same way, but give it a different name.
