Track Spottings!
coasterkyle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not really because the direction of the radii is constant. It doesn't change direction or pull up. You can tell because none of the pieces are on top of other objects. They are all directly on the ground and you can tell in the one pic of the connection that it doesn't pull up any. If it did, the angle of the end (perpendicular to the side of the spine facing the ground) in correlation to the ground would be less. Am I confusing? no I see what you saying ... I guess we wont know till a B&M pops up somewhere lol -

^ highly doubt they would send the wrong pieces to a park b/c each piece has its own individual bar-code, that I assume they scan right before loading that piece of track on the truck/ shipping container. (btw these are not separated) -

^Unless Six Flags Announce another coaster for SFMM for next year they would only be tied at 17 .... BTW my I ask whats the big deal with most coasters at one park. -
http://www.cbs11tv.com/video?id=54883@ktvt.dayport.com here is a news story on the incident EDIT: I do want to point out that the second band member to speak about the incident on stage was from the band Boys Like Girls but that band was allowed to play at SFFT. Also watching other videos people were going on stage not only for All Time Lows set but several other bands thought the event.

I am assuming they were one train op b/c of the rain b/c that is CP's policy which IMO is way better then there old 2007 policy where they just stopped sending trains during rain. the only other coasters that will not run in rain is TTD and Maverick b/c they cannot go down to one train op. -
From other videos I have seen it looks as if kids were getting on stage the whole set and other bands sets. So what i think happened was that the kids saw how easy it was to get on stage and just rushed the stage and the end of the night. but it seems to me that there security was just you average SF employee( so perhaps they were not trained for such an event.) and every other concert I've been to (Punk/Pop concerts such as the bands that play Bamboozle ) and they have these steel barriers between the crowd and the stage with security in between the two(which seem to be absent at this venue with e security on stage during the entire concert.) If SF were to have such a concert again they should be more prepared.

If you know any thing about coasters you would know that depending on the weather/ wight of the train/ and the life of the wheels , speeds will very greatly. So your statement of false advertising has no merit. -

^^ yes a ride op will come down and make sure everyone is alright then we have to use the panel in the tunnel to relaunch the train, same goes for a roll back on the hill except that panel is by the transfer track. -
