ha ha, it's a conspiracy! -
If Robb hadn't of posted a picture of the park entrance, I would have thought I was at SFA with rides down, unknowledgable staff, etc. It's not just noticeable at SFMM, I began noticing things at other parks from Sept on. SFFT short staffed, one train on Goliath, one! with a 1:30 wait! Rattler staff was overly slow, and Superman only had two ops on the platform which seems to have become more normal for them. SFOT's bathrooms were nasty and Judge Roy's crew acts like they are running one train half the time, we sat on the brake run for 5 minutes while they were standing around talking! Seems like the attitude that you need to hustle has disappeared along with many other things. Shapiro's pet peeve was an unknowledgable non-hustling staff member. I've heard he'd chew people out on the spot. Seems like they are heading back in that direction. They used to have friendly people at all of their parks, even SFA in my experience, now, just some of the parks. Sad. Oh, and the info card with the scratched out portion, that's funny, too cheap to print new cards, it's not that expensive. I wish I would have kept it, but they had employees in Oct handing out $5 off coupons on the flashpass. Looked like it had been xerox'd a million times over and cut into strips with a pair of scissors!

^ LMAO!!! Ask and you shall receive I suppose

If the Screamscape rumor is true about the Glow in the Park parade budgets getting that ax, there appears to be no bottom to the length they are going to cut everything to the bone. Sure, it will look good for about one year to the shareholders, but if people quit going to the parks as a result, they might end up back in their old home, the bankruptcy court. Not that Glow in the Park was a big draw for me, but maybe for others. And I'm not just talking about themes and eats, but also regular ops, cutting trains, staff, and other stuff we enjoyed under the prior leadership.

^^ That would be correct -
^ looking at the pictures there doesn't appear to be a clamp brake on the run nor does it look like they have brakets for one, not to say they won't put one in, just doesn't appear so at this moment in time. Depending on how the magentic brakes are setup, an electrical current *could* be used to "open" them and not "close" them. Intamin has had good success with magnetic brakes, and outside of their cable, haven't had any failures that I know of. I've read they installed electromags on MF, but never cared enough to pay attention. It just all depends on what they are using I suppose, maybe at some point we can find someone with Rocky Mountain who can tells us. So, how do I know you can use current to release and not clamp? well, lets just say I have the doors in some of our high security areas setup in this fashion, don't want the secrets getting out when the electric goes off That's what wikileaks is for

^ yeah, I've been curious too. I've ran a few checks, and without breaking any rules/laws/abuse of my resources, I'm fairly confident he's legit in this deal. If I can find something 100% I will post it, so far, I'm 95% So, given this, why don't they own it? WKYC -

As if it really matters, the domain of the .org website is registered in the U.S. under Sara's name. Harrold is indeed a real person. This boils down to two idiots who didn't know what they were doing and now find themselves in teh sh!t. I left a comment on their site that's still awaiting moderation, yet, someone else's comment goes thru almost instantly, odd. -
SF's has posted pics to the Texas Giant Page on their website. Says they've installed electromagentic brakes on the MCBR, which, based soley on my understanding of electromagnets, means no clamp brakes should be needed as the computer can adjust current as needed, thus making my previous comment on the subject null.

^ Malwarebytes rocks, that's for sure, unfortunatley, when we talked to the company they couldn't offer us a central management console, why, who knows. We were willing to forgo the pushing of the software requirement since it's not an agent, especially at $4 a node, but no dice It truley is one of the best and I've paid for the full version for home use even tho the freebie works just as well, thought they could use some love. Have you had any performance issues with AVG's latest upgrades? -
I doubt any trouble will come of it, afterall, you are a guest expressing what happened during your stay. If everything said must be rosey, then no one will know where the shortfalls are. Personally, I didn't by into the stock at 30/share and surprised where it is now as I wanted to wait to see how things panned out. Should have I bought in and doubled my dough, maybe, but SF's looked risky and still does given recent changes. We'll see how 2011 pans out, but I have a feeling it might not have the stellar shareholders numbers they are looking for if staff, services, and perks continue to get cut.

I am currently evaluating several Anti Virus/Spyware/Malware products with the goal of killing McAfee once and for all. (resource hog!) The requirements are simple, must have a central management console, must be able to push agents to workstations, must be able to kill malware and viruses. Cost is no issue, after all, it's your tax dollars at work So far I am only considering three choices. Vipre, AVG, and Kaspersky. So as not to taint the voting pool, I won't tell you which one we are currently more impressed with. I have royaly jacked up several test computers on my test domain. (Yes, it's segregated from everyone else and noone knows where it is, what it is, or what it's called, so in essence, it's super secret, till now, sort of, ha ha) and thus far only one has been able to fix/catch everything I've thrown at it. So, has anyone used any of the above products and if so, what has been you experience? Full disclosure, Norton and McAfee are off the table, which, I think goes without saying. Thanks!
