  1. OR, it could be getting a makeover by RMC...............
  2. Didn't know any "Tangos" were actually purchased for permanent installations. They have a Tango at the OC Fair in So Cali and it is a very good looking ride especially at night with the light packages that KMG installs. The issue is they are EXTREMELY uncomfortable and awkward to ride.
  3. I wonder who will purchase those Kumbak trains? They are only 4 years old.
  4. Intrasys manufactures LIM and LSM stators as well as Eddy brake equipment for almost the entire industry.
  5. Boomerang's train has been parked there since Thursday around mid-day. Sound like a hydraulic system issue. No sense in winching the train up to the chain on lift 2 if there'e no hydraulic system to pull it up the rest of the way and release it.
  6. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these 2 shots: Thanks for sharing. Looks like the park definitely has potential.
  7. ^^^ Wow, Robb. That is horrible. Hopefully park management sees that. Sucks that happened but I'm sorry to say, I'm not surprised. This infuriates me as I have a daughter myself that is a little over a year older than Kristen.
  8. I knew it was only a matter of time before B&M had to give in and get into the launched coaster realm. Glad to see them branching out.
  9. ^Not too bad. Could be worse. Still asinine how their single-rider line works......or doesn't work in this case.
  10. Sorry to hear that. Can't say I'm surprised though. Who cares if you're a group if you're riding separately?!?
  11. ^That's what I'm thinking. Might be just to throw us off, though.
  12. Coasters are never an issue for me. Any flat rides that spin are definitely not for me. The most sick I've gotten is on Wipeout at KBF. This is why the park only runs it in "Short" mode. "Long" mode was 1: Making too many people sick and 2: Putting too much stress on the rides hydraulic system as it had to stop mid-cycle and switch directions. I loved operating it but wouldn't step foot on it. It's the devil. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  13. Wow. That's REALLY unfortunate but glad Ninja is open at least.
  14. Just got this email from the park. I'm beyond excited for HHN this year.
  15. ^Have you been on one? No sarcasm, legitimate question. I thought Flying Falcon @ Hersheypark looked lame but I ended up enjoying myself thoroughly.
  16. 2 trains is more efficient for X2 than 3. Plus not to mention, they never have all 3 trains available. At SFMM, what's running is what they have available.
  17. ^^I've only been on Flying Falcon @ Hersheypark but it was a hell of a lot of fun. I hope more parks purchase the Condor 2s but the reliability of the original Condors wasn't the best..... Who am I kidding?! Huss rides in general have horrible reliability.
  18. Invertigo @ KI and CGA were actually the smoother of the Vekoma Boomerangs variations. I was sad when I heard it was being moved to Dorney.
  19. Stinger's train is back on the track. Source
  20. What's weird about Scream is that during the busiest parts of summer it will have 2 trains mostly. On a slow weekend in February, it'll be running all 3. I have no idea why this is. I visit SFDK twice a year, every year: Once in the middle of June and again at the end of August and it seems Medusa always has a train in pieces for refurb.
