  1. I don't know if they would invest a lot of money in the ride if they thought it wasn't going to smooth with floorless trains. Thank you. The people working on this are some of the best coaster designers and engineers in the world. Cedar Point wouldn't throw (presumably) millions of dollars at a coaster if those designers weren't confident that this would make it a better ride experience and those designers wouldn't take on a project that they felt would jeopardize their relationship with a company that's been one of their biggest customers for the last few years. These people know what they're doing... it's their job and they have an excellent reputation. Scream says "Hi." All joking aside, I do agree with Coasterbill and Prozach that CP and B&M are the experts and I believe Mantis....err Rougarou will be just fine with the floorless trains.
  2. Not sure why this is still a debate....... TC will have 1 station. Period.
  3. Good thing those watermarks aren't obnoxious or anything.......
  4. 80% of my TPR YouTube viewing is on my PC at work. 20% on my latest and greatest iPhone 6. Robb, I think it's great you value our opinion and are looking to optimize the user experience. You could easily just not give a sh*t. Luckily that is not the case. Keep up the good work!
  5. There's always jokes to be made about Prowler......
  6. It still is very popular. Heck, I've seen two hour waits during off-season weekends. I see no reason for converting it to floorless when it's already one of the best coasters at Magic Mountain (which doesn't say much, right ). While I agree Riddler's Revenge still has decent popularity, it's excessive waits are mostly due to horrible operations. ^Is it not true?
  7. ^Didn't know they offered that. Already went to employee preview night but if I do end up going again I will take advantage of this. Thank you.
  8. Good luck. My advice is get to the front gate 45min-1hr before 7. Once they do start letting guests in, do the lower lot first as 5 of the 7 mazes are down there.
  9. Painting has already started... Source
  10. ^Mantis had 3 transfer tracks already.
  11. I would imagine CF purchased new trains. SF should purchase the Mantis trains from CF and use them for parts for Riddler's and Green Lantern.
  12. ^As well as a post-Haunt rehab. Neither of which make it any better though......
  13. I get lots of joy watching idiots play with those seats just to have them lock on them.
  14. ^Correct. It's there for their maintenance team to inspect the LSMs/track.
  15. It should breathe new life into the coaster. Assuming they will run 3 trains?
  16. You're a glutton for punishment I see.
  17. SFStL needs a coaster...... Just saying....
  18. ^No. SFMM doesn't need to add any more gimmicks to their rides that will stop working and not get fixed after a year.
  19. Scream will most likely get a fresh coast of paint closer to media for TC just like Viper got a new paint job for X2's media day.
  20. ^I agree. While I absolutely love RSR, it could have been "more." The speed aspect doesn't bother me as much as how much longer it could have been.
  21. I agree. Anaconda and Vortex are not pleasant but my worst experience with an Arrow multi-looper was GASM @ SFGAdv. This little maneuver into the MCBR embedded the OTSR restraint in my jaw.
  22. True. Viper only has a line (10min+) when X2 is closed because the guests automatically get in line for the nearest attraction which is Viper.
  23. Excellent report! Thanks for sharing. Intamin's programmers put in a button that has to be pressed every 24hrs in order for the ride to start. This ensures that the lift gets inspected daily.
