  1. Ahh, is that for real? Omg I just peed myself!
  2. The Sky Tower should stay because it's just a cool ride, I mean the view up there is pretty amazing!
  3. You know, if the NFL has a lockout like they keep talking about on the news, that would pretty much throw most if not all of the work for the stadium deal into the toilet. Oh darn, wouldn't that be a shame
  4. Eventhough there has not been an announcement you suddenly know what the park is getting? Why would they spill the beans to a new hire, that doesn't make any sense. Btw, the lease was for 50 not 90 years. That error alone makes me not believe what you are saying.
  5. The red dot marks the center of where the entire ride will be built around?
  6. I said something like 11% because I could not remember the number. But the point is, even if it was small, attendance DID increase.
  7. And to add to that... didn't CF report that attendance increased at this park over last year by something like 11%? Even without adding anything major attendance STILL INCREASED! You could say that its because of haunt or whatever but numbers don't lie and just imagine what would happen with attendance WHEN a new coaster gets put in.
  8. ^....yep! And isn't it redundant to say "clone copy"?
  9. Yeah what the two above me said. Although a Maverick clone would be nice (and is my secret wish but eventhough this is only the 2nd time I have said that I don't keep saying it EVERY FRIKIN' TIME I post something!) probably NOT going to happen so MOVE ON ALREADY! And just because a coaster is compact does not mean it sucks. Sure a large, full version of a coaster would be great and is really what this park needs, a compact coaster can be just as great. I think you forget, and it was mentioned, some really great coasters happen to be, guess what, compact! If they can manage to put in a Windseeker AND a compact coaster that would be incredibly sweet but if its only one of those for now that will work just fine. I'm not sure but I think the radius of a Windseeker makes it too large to put on the Triple Play footprint, unless there is a smaller version of it. Why not put it next to the flipping ship ride (can't remember the name, Enterprise or Endeavor, formerly Revolution), there seems to be ample space there as they could build it over the water some, that would make for some nice views. Or maybe put a compact coaster in that area and sort of intertwine it with Logger's Run.
  10. Its cool. I hope one of those doesn't go there but at this point it could be anything. My secret wish is an Intamin Megalite....somewhere in that park and they could totally pull it off too...at least SOMETHING that is a coaster hopefully will take Invertigo's spot. I still can't believe it is being taken out, never saw that coming. And I don't think what happened with it and publicity had much to do with it, remember when Boomerang stalled in the cobra roll with some of the riders upside down at SFDK? That was all over the news yet that ride is still there. I just hate this! Back to Invertigo...I never got to see this. This was during 2009, I had no idea they did anything like this. Tightrope walking on Invertigo Wow that's really cool!
  11. We are not saying that they would do that, just having a little fun with the idea. Is there something wrong with that?
  12. Yes even better indoors! Built in a building that is kept hot and humid, with a dirty stinky swamp surrounding it with water supplied by the park's sewage system! And as a special feature, lactose intolerant guests are given rancid, crunchy milk and old cheese 15-20 minutes before they are allowed to ride.
  13. I know, it was terrible, but sooner or later somebody had to say it! One more... "Get your stench on! New for 2012, Windbreaker!" "New for 2012, CGA introduces Windbreaker, an exciting high flying, stinky experience! Built on the former Invertigo spot, riders will climb up the 150' tower and soar in the clounds in free swinging open air seats while experiencing all the different possible smells that can emanate from the human body. (Note, this ride is best experienced on very hot, dry days when there is no breeze to get the full effect). Want to know what your friends had for lunch at the food court? No problem! Just strap yourself in and take a spin, you'll instantly discover whether they had the expensive corndogs, sushi, or pizza! And if going around in circles high above the ground doesn't make you puke, somebody's flatulence surely will! Windbreaker for 2012, the smelliest thing to ever come to the Silicon Valley!"
  14. "Windbreaker, the only farting, spinning, swing ride in the country. As every person has different flatulence, every ride will be different and unique. Diapers not required but suggested on this ride. CGA is not responsible for any loose articles lost on this ride or any rider leaking that may occur due to violent flatulence."
  15. Make room for an upcoming ride at CGA? Is ValleyFair confirming that it WILL be a ride by saying this and how would they know? Why would they spill the beans if CGA hasn't announced anything yet? Hmm...seems a bit odd.
  16. Haha, the video feed is down so when you play both screens are blank.... the second time I played I was just randomly moving the claw around and I won something, I have no idea what though! Wow only 35 people in line.
  17. Gumball... ...maybe you chose to ride Invertigo that day because you "knew" something was up.
  18. Ah yes Shadow Cliffs, been there a few times and yes, Pleasanton is a snooty armpit.
  19. Its not the same thing and you're just being negative.
  20. Yeah not THAT coaster but it could be another one, something completely different, could be.
  21. It is entirely and completely possible for that to happen. Remember, if the park really wants it they will make it fit, even if that means tweaking the layout or moving existing stuff around. A Maverick type ride would be awesome for many reasons such as it doesn't have to bee 200 feet tall, the layout is somewhat compact and can be adjusted to fit where they want to put it, etc etc. I don't know what they are going to do but I'm not going to dismiss any possibilty as we don't know what the plans are yet.
  22. Despite all this negativity on here I seem to remember CF reporting that attendance was up at this park from last season.
