  1. See, you can have inversions and airtime too, but go heavy on the airtime.
  2. I hope it does have inversions.... I mean why not? And.... you might as well!
  3. Or, as was pointed out, the Metro station just fell down on its own......I like that one
  4. That brings up something interesting. Firstly, how would you do that on purpose...tighten up the wheels too much or what? And secondly, what if this was not on purpose (somehow) but was a mulfunction or even accidental and Carpenter is just saying publicly that it was intentional to dodge any bad press? Hmmm....
  5. They did it on purpose? Fascinating. The best part about this are the posts from people that knew exactly what caused it to valley, when it turns out it was none of that at all!
  6. Posted on page 88 of this thread is this image... Which shows the station Superman is to use is actually the old Zonga station.
  7. Are you sure about this? They have taken out "quality family rides" before and in some cases not replaced it with anything.
  8. But then the turf would somehow damage the pools.
  9. There are always some idiots for any sports team that act that way. You add alcohol it it makes the problem 100 times worse.
  10. Well, at least those people didn't have to deal with the roughest part of the ride! LOL, doesn't this happen every year around this time in that same spot?
  11. MONEY! Of course, Cedar Fair wants to earn a profit with CGA. Honestly, I just think the 2013 coaster will be the GCI coaster, it makes no sense to create a new design that would waste money. Exactly!
  12. So now the question becomes... what DO they want?
  13. Quiet does not matter. If they really wanted to build something that would be noisy there are ways to reduce the noise, such as a giant, ugly ass sound wall the neighbors could stare at all day....oh wait, they would complain about that too!
  14. I read somewhere that they will support replacement trains for his rides, like parts or completely new trains, so these rides will continue to shine.
  15. That is a "Great" site, love the pics of the parks and classic rides. I especially like the commercials.
  16. There were actually two serious accidents, one resulted in a death. That plus the unstable area it was built on basically caused its removal. It wasnt worn down or in bad shape, it was just a death trap in the parks view. One accident involved the drive system failing on a train going up the lift, no anti rollbacks, it then hit a train in the station. The other involved a train failing to stop as it entered the station, hitting a train there. I forget which one caused the death. This is from Wiki but it explains what happened... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whizzer_(roller_coaster)
  17. Some programmable, multicolored led lights would work well in the tunnel. They could be programmed for an awesome light show, would sit almost flush with the wall, and would last a long time.
  18. I don't think anyone can ever get disappointed about what this park may or may not do again, it's been so long since a good coaster went in that this whole time has just been one loooooooooong disappointment!
  19. *Resisting that's what she said joke* LOL!!!
  20. It may not be open for WCB, but I'm pretty sure a backstage tour will be given to see the update of LL:DOD and its queue line It's MASSIVE que line!
