Last time I went by there all of the parking lot lighting was gone. This was lighting that had been there since the park opened! I would guess they will be installing all new (crappy LED) parking lot lighting. In fact you can see in the pic the stumps where the poles were.

Does it matter which type of track is where? You want this to work right when you ride it don't you? Its not an issue of why they will or won't "commit" to a certain track style but more of an engineering reason as to what track type is where.... which only Premier knows.

Well in either case it should be a fun "after thought" shouldn't it?

^This park has no reason to lie about such things, everybody knows about the 'neighbor problem'- if they say it was not required and was added as an after though then so be it.

"It's not small, but it is very 'average.'" Since when was 'average' being the first coaster of its kind to have two pieces of track stacked on top of one another? And while it may be 'average' in the sense of the number of elements it has, it is still a very unique ride that you can't find anywhere else. I mean really guys, SFMM puts in a new coaster essentially every year or every other year at the very least. Usually the parks that get the large Gatekeeper-esque coasters with the hefty $25 million pricetags are ones that go 4-5 seasons or more without a new major attraction. Fortunately for the folks who visit SFMM, they never have to go more than a season or two without a new ride. Unfortunately that means the rides they do get every year don't come anywhere near $25 million. And let's be honest, this is exactly what people said about SUF before it opened. But once people actually rode it, they saw how awesome of a ride it really was for as small as it is. Launch, Loop Twist twist Dive Stop Launch launch Hill Stop ....could easily be considered average.

Or it could just be this is a similar element to other manufacturer's rides and the 'flying snake dive' is a name Premier has given it. Although short it still looks like fun. The bus thing on the other hand, I don't know. I think I'll just walk. The loop/tophat combo will be in the cleared out dirt area where LJ once was, near LJ's station.

Anyway, I know this is only one coaster but the fact that its there and almost ready to open along with the other good things going on here, makes me really happy and hopefully means more great things are to come for this park.

This clearance issue is merely an 'optical delusion'....even if it were possible, if somebody was dumb enough to climb up on the track and they got hit, well, then good! One less moron to worry about.

Even if Revolution did somehow 'still suck' after removing the OTSRs, at least the head bashing would be gone.

I mean, someone could also do that on Revolution and it's not been an issue since 1976. I agree! "YOLOCoaster is going to be down all day and possibly longer due to a souvenir item an unruly guest tossed up into the track which caused major damage to the ride"..... LOL!!!

If they never plan on reopening the Pictorium I wish they would just get rid of it already.

CoasterGiant, I intended in no way to offend you so if I have I apologize. Like I said, that was an amazing video and some of the shots were really neat and I do think you just might be the first to do this with a coaster.

So this is just a GoPro mounted to an RC copter? That actually sounds like it could be fun. That video is amazing. Fly that thing over there again, I've always wanted to see the very tops of the Drop tower. Looks like there is still a lot of open space between GS and the fence next to Prud. Just watched the vid again, really awesome and very good piloting skills. There were some parts I almost thought it was going to hit the coaster, and when you fly up the Carousel all the way up near the top of the spire, that was really cool- awesome shots though. I don't remember anybody ever doing this before for any coaster so you might just be the first.

Could flying that 'spy cam' into the park like that be considered some form of tresspassing? I think the idea is very interesting- wonder if someone could make this 'tresspass' into the new stadium...lol

Makes a lot of sense but doesn't this park do things that don't appear to make sense?
