They did not extend the shoot because of your email. They are also not having this event to "satisfy happy riders,", so no one is thanking you. Also, There was only one downtime yesterday. Every time the train stopped on the lift was so the camera can get different angles. Are you sure about that? Why would they keep stopping the train on the lift to try different camera angles when they could just wait to dispatch it? Tuesday it was having real technical difficulties and stopping on the lift was the result, so maybe those were actual 'mini' downtimes because this issue has not yet been resolved, would not be surprising or bad, it's still a brand new ride and things need to be worked out. Doesn't make sense to dispatch the train only to stop it on the lift to move cameras around when they could do that before they dispatch the train. It makes perfect sense from a photography standpoint. They need to move as the day light moves to eliminate shadows or the shots won't work. They probably also wanted to get some solid stills without any movement. I remember only one mini downtime, after that they cycled the trains without riders to make sure everything was cleared up. I would imagine they wouldn't need so many days to do this if the same amount of riders were available during the early afternoon when the sun is over head rather than 5pm-8pm. That's awesome, I wasn't there yesterday, I hadn't considered that, thank you.

Well I do know they are required to run a certain number of test cycles for each train before they can open the ride to guests and with the (seems like sensor) issues it has been having they are probably running a few more. I did notice the mechanics wiping or cleaning something on the front bottom of each train yesterday during the downtimes and after they were watching the area where the magnetic brakes are, just a guess that maybe they were watching a certain sensor as when the ride went down it was acting like one of the position sensors was not functioning correctly, pure speculation and observation so I don't know exactly what was going on. Whatever it is I'm sure its not something to be worried about and is a completely normal thing during this break in period.

Angry Gumball, yeah I think I was on that train. One guy sitting in some rows ahead of me was yelling for someone to get a grappling hook to save us.... lol, it was pretty funny. I think you will agree you get some sick air in row 12 on the first drop! Sitting in row 8 or 9 I think I counted 14 different moments when I was lifted off the seat, this ride has some air all over the place....... its freekin awesome! I also noticed the track is nice and lubricated now. Last Tuesday it was still dry and new looking.

I overheard some people asking Mr. Ross exactly when it would open and the only thing he could say is it will open sometime this month, so as of right now there is no set date. He said it might open sooner or later, at this point they haven't decided yet. I would guess this may be due to some small things that still need to be done and maybe some other reasons we would not know about. So in short as of now, there is no set opening date yet. One of my last rides of the night parked us on the lift hill for a bit, cool!

To everyone that gets to 50.... congratulations! I will be happy getting to 16 today! So far I like the middle of the train and the very back. Anybody else got a favorite seat? And have you all noticed..... NO DOWNTIMES caused by any ride malfunction..... during all this running that's a very good sign.
