  1. It all depends on which park we visit first in Disney World when I go down there next week. My first coaster will be one of: Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, RnR Coaster, or Expedition Everest.
  2. For me, it would definitely be ERT at Hersheypark. It was my first time doing anything with TPR. Even though I went to the park 7 or 8 times this year, nothing beats being able to ride all the coasters without getting out of my seat.
  3. 1. Male 2. 21 3. Steel 4. Intamin Hyper Trains 5. The Voyage 6. Airtime 7. Sitting waiting for a launch 8. Scary-Yes, Thrilling-No 9. The more extreme the better 10. I don't think so 11. I like to be able to see the ride in the queue because it just builds up my anticipation as I watch it run 12. Long ride / Long queue 13. Higher roller coasters which aren't launched (Go over 400 feet with a lift hill)
  4. I can't wait to ride Diamondback and possibly head back to Holiday World for the first time since 2005. Plus I'll get to judge whether the new Boardwalk Extension at Hersheypark was worth tearing out CRR.
  5. Good luck you guys. You got my vote. Hope you win.
  6. I got caught on Sidewinder at Hersheypark this summer. When the ride goes up for the reverse lift, the chain failed to catch so they had to e-stop the ride right after the loop. For anyone who doesn't know, Sidewinder is a boomerang coaster.
  7. Sadly this has been a pretty slow year for me considering last year I made it to around 15 parks . I've been to: Hersheypark (8 times) Six Flags Great Adventure Jolly Roger's Del Grosso's Kennywood (2 times) Dutch Wonderland (Pretty much every day...That's what working there does to you) Knoebels (2 times)
  8. Cedar Point: Maverick, Mantis, TTD Six Flags Great Adventure: El Toro, Kingda Ka, The Dark Knight Busch Gardens Europe: Griffon, Apollo's Chariot California Adventure: California Screamin', Mulholland Madness Dorney Park: Hydra, Steel Force King's Island: Son Of Beast, Firehawk Dollywood: Mystery Mine Holiday World: The Voyage Six Flags America: Batwing
  9. My max was 15 times on Drachen Fire. The best part was that my brother and I never had to get out of the ride.
  10. Definitely Hydra...nothing beats the Jo-Jo Roll...
  11. While I'm not the biggest fan of this idea since I don't really like the Boardwalk anyway, I think it's what Hershey needs to do. The attendance did rise last year which helps them get more money to build bigger and better things. I am upset at the loss of CRR but sometimes you've gotta take stuff out. It's too bad they've decided to remove all their typical amusement park water rides to make a waterpark. But...I was a lot angrier at the loss of Cyclops for the Claw and the Conestoga Wagon for a crappy virtual reality show/The Howler.
  12. The first time I rode the Beast back in '02 it was one of the best woodies I had ever ridden. When I went back last year, due to all the trims making the ride just creep through the woods, it dropped way down in my opinion. I'll say the Beast is better than SOB but only because SOB didn't really impress me outside of the loop it used to have.
  13. It's nice to see someone give a little love to Dutch Wonderland. In the six years I've worked there (which is way too long I might add), I don't think I've seen anyone put up pictures from a visit there.
  14. I'm really glad someone posted one last photo report from this park. Looking at these last pics is upsetting to say the least. I was lucky enough to make it out there the last two summers before I found out it was closing down. I also remember when the two different parks existed. It's hard to believe that it was like that just 11 years ago.
  15. Best - Goliath Worst - Probably Ninja Of course, I haven't been there since 2001 so I haven't ridden X or Tatsu yet.
