Of all the places I've been, I'd have to say Iwo Jima is my favorite. I turned 22 on that tiny island. Of course, we had an easier time landing on the beach and climbing Mount Suribachi than the Marines did 45 years prior to our landing. It was just a really awesome experience to be on that tiny piece of World War II history.

So can we ask the TSA (Testicular Searching Administration) for opposite-sex searches?

I'm a dinocentrist. I believe dinosaurs are the center of the universe, and I theorize that the Earth is really just a big dinosaur egg. We were placed here by an advanced alien species as food for when the thing hatches. Well, not really. But maybe... I think, for a lot of people, origins is a non-issue. It's just not something we dwell on or care about. As someone else said, we're here. In this great* land of ours, you're free to believe the Earth is anywhere from 6,000 to 4.5 billion years old, and that's okay. But science should be left to the scientists, and theology to the theologians. *Refers to land occupied by roller coasters and other thrill rides.

I dislike it when your waiter or waitress drops your check off then tries to scurry away before you can get your cash or credit card out to pay so you have to wait even longer for him or her to take their time to come back to your table. When I'm done eating, I want to pay and leave, not sit and twiddle my thumbs.

S&S Sansei Discussion Thread

^ I guess you never rode it during its heyday in the '80s then. In it's later years, it was less than fun. But, I did say better. -

Well if we're going to go there, another Orient Express! But make it better, faster, stronger than it was before. -
Randomness is an illusion. Therefore, this thread does not exist.

Except those usually imply you should drink responsibly. He might be good for a temperance movement, though. -

So does Piers have any significant effect on the supply of beer? -
Yes, but it's a little slow, so it takes the short bus to school. Is Robb going to be mad at me for making a trim joke?
-
Yes. Haven't we been here before?

Computer illiterate people that think they know things

My dad used to call his Compaq mini-tower the hard drive. This lady at work would right-click the buttons in the taskbar to minimize windows instead of using the window's minimize button. Watching her minimize every window that way was painful. -

To show off your grapes. Why did I just say that? -
I saw Suck tonight. Not bad, not great, but I enjoyed it. The music was good. Vampires and rock 'n roll, what a combination.
