  1. I found out about TPR through watching robbs youtube videos
  2. No doubt about it. OBLIVION, ALTON TOWERS. It's relatively simple and looks pretty spectacular (and is quite fun to ride!)
  3. I've had two decent ideas. A flying drop tower. Similar to the intamin tilting drop tower, but tilting the full 90 degrees to face down in the flying position. There was something like that at IAAPA wasn't there?Or have I gone insane :S. Either way I'd like to see if any of them get made. And a "Space shuttle" launched tower. In a space shuttle you face vertically upwards rather than straight forwards before being launched. This would give the impression of being launched straight into the sky and a (hopefully) realistic effect of a space shuttle launch. With some immersive space station theming I think it could make for a really good ride. The main problem with my ideas is that I think the rider comfort may be a little awkward though :S
  4. well smokers are the biggest one for me. I'm an asthmatic and simply walking within a 10 foot radius of a smoker makes me cough plenty. Often to the extent of practically choking. It's pretty embrassing standing their coughing and choking in the middle of the street and it puts my health at direct risk (short term as-well as long term) One which annoys me is when rapids rides have a 15minute + que and the operators are sending rounds boats with 2-3 people in. I've seen it at almost all the big theme parks. I don't care that it's slightly awkward spending the ride avoiding eye contact with the other group of people in the boat, I'd still prefer that than queing for an extra 15 minutes! One train operation. G force at drayton manor being the prime example. When you can't choose what row you sit on and the operators assign you into a particular row. For some rides it doesn't matter (Oblivion) but it's annoying when what row you sit on makes a difference (Air) and when you want to try both rows (saw)
  5. 1st: Big Dipper, the best of British ride signs I think 2nd:Rita - Queen Of Speed. same thing for stealth! 3rd:Nemesis Inferno. I just like the way the ride flies over the entrance
  6. Reading other peoples lists I think I generally find rides more re-rideable than most people. Theres one ride which stands out though, Air at Alton Towers. My first ride on air blew me away. Better than anything Nemesis could ever do! Unfortunately once the flying experience has been "experienced" it never lives up to it's previous rides. Every time I visit Alton Towers Air slips down my ratings slightly. Now my previous favourite ride is only "Good but not great". And on the opposite side of the scale for re-rideability... I'm different to the majority's opinion with Intamin top hat launched coasters. I thought stealth was kind of "MEH DISAPPOINTMENT" first time, but I've came to like it a lot more since then. I find oblivion suprisingly re-rideable. Even after 10 rides in a row It's still just as brilliant. Nemesis I can never get bored of. EVER!
