Going for the wild guess: The Legend at Holiday World -
They'd do it if it was financially beneficial to the chain to do so. It takes a lot of money to move a coaster from one park to another. It would need to be a situation where a park needs a new coaster, but the chain won't pay to build one from scratch, and SF gets an amazing deal from whoever the freighter is. :cough: Six Flags did just take a 21 year-old 1st Gen. beemer and reopened it 800 miles east at SFA. Not that the move would ever happen, but Scream could easily be repackaged to benefit to SFA and SFStL (you could even find a way to put in into SFGAm or SFOT's collections).

I would think Beech Bend be the one more affected than King Island, no? Wouldn't that be the market they're fighting with: Kentucky Kingdom: -Season Passes: $59.95 -Day Admission: $44.95 Beech Bend: -Season Passes: $159.95 -Online Passes: $28.99 -Day Admission: $31.99 Holiday World: -Season Passes: $129.95 -Summer Fun Card (Sunday-Friday admission): $99.95 -Day Admission: $39.95

I'm more concerned with whether or not they're going to repaint those rides as part of rebranding and follow through on the addition of "delicious food, exciting games, yummy beverages, and fun retail shops". New additions are wonderful, but that area of the park looks like a junk yard (and the rusted/chipped painted look of Sonora Speedway and that section of Wild One is certainly not giving that area life). It would be awesome if they could make that area look like the final section of the Thunderbolt@Kennywood, light package and all :wishfulthinking:.

I'm just excited that they got this off the ground. To be honest though, if you look at the map [http://www.kentuckykingdom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/KK_ParkMap_Web.pdf] it's looking for this to be more of the new Hurricane Bay & Kentucky Kingdom (not the other way around), which is probably a better way of getting people back through the gate.

Modifications to the picnic pavilion area near Flight Deck...wonder what this all involves and if this has any bearing on the site's future... New CGA addition? Probably a Snoopy Meet n' Greet. I wouldn't expect any major CGA non-water park expansion before 2016/17 (especially with Levy's Stadium opening next year). Though the last gap in coaster additions was over a decade (Stealth in 2000 and Goldstriker in 2013) for different reasons, expect the Bay Area market to be milked for at least 2-3 years on Goldstriker and any (if all expansion after the new Niners stadium opens across the way), to be to the feeble six-slide Boomerang Bay (not adding Time Machine ). The water park definitely needs expansion.

It's due to temperature. Superman cannot run when temperatures fall below 55 degrees, which can be quite common during December. Maybe it's my naivety can someone explain the rationale behind this. Vallejo gets down to the low 40's in December with higher wind chill factors than San Antonio and I have only seen Medusa cease operation twice in four years. The kids and I have always been fairly disappointed with SFFT Holiday in the Park compared to the others. Six Flags Fiesta Texas seems to have the most limited offerings of the three parks that run Holiday in the Park (SFDK, SFFT, and SFOT). SFDK and SFOT Holiday in the Park has been incredibly fun to bring my nieces and nephews, there are lots of amusements for all ages, especially the non-ride entertainment, Christmas dinners, and SNOW!!! We made the mistake of trying of SFFT Holiday in the Park in 2012 after being so impressed with SFDK and SFOT the previous years (last year, we passed on SFFT and just did SFOT). SFFT seemed to literally just open up the front section of the park and place a few ornaments around in comparison (plus Goliath was the only major coaster open, which was odd b/c SFDK and SFOT seems to run majority of their coaster line-up and pull out all the bells and whistles for the same ticket price). The coaster line-up doesn't hurt as much as the lack of planning and theming (literally every corner of SFDK is rethemed down to the minor midways and bathrooms; in some section of SFFT, especially Fiesta Bay Boardwalk, it felt like they didn't even try). The kids were most disappointed in the entertainment options since the bars for SFFT is pretty high (while we weren't expecting holiday dolphin shows or SFOT Mrs. Claus Holiday Dinner show, the entertainment at SFFT for the holiday's really seemed like an afterthought). I think SFFT will get better at this after a few seasons. The Holiday park offerings seems to be at the other parks seem second nature concept (SFDK has been doing Safeway Snow sledding, holiday food, and entertainment for over 10 years now). I'm sure SFFT will improve as the years pass by.

Bro, you could say the same thing about a Ferris Wheel...cause a bunch of parks have those as well, right? In fact, these kind of panoramic views have been missing from the park since the Colossus ferris wheel was dismantled. The North End is still the backyard or eyesore of the park. All I'v seen reported is that Skyscreamer is actually going in Taz's spot NOT Catapult. Some people feel like this is a win for the North End of the park, but at some point, I'd hope they stop cramming I flying rides into that corner and actually build some restrooms, a sit-down dining option, and maybe some new paths so that it feels like more than the backside of the Cyclone. I would really have wished they replaced the boomerang with the Sky Screamer and see what they could really do to develop the north end of the park. Since they've managed to remove Time Warp, Catapult, and Taz's Dare Devil Dive, I was hoping that at some point they would just put in a nice dining option. With exception of JB's Smokehouse BBQ and John Rockets, there isn't really anywhere for a family to go inside eat and have downtime.

Yes, that's how it will work. Think of it like being the monorail from MK to Epcot. You need a ticket to get in. There is no monorail line that goes from the Magic Kingdom Park to EPCOT. But there are two lines that go from the Magic Kingdom Park to the Ticket & Transportation Center and then another separate monorail line that goes from the Ticket & Transportation to EPCOT and back. Of all the Floridians, pretty sure Robb is the last one you need to tell what MK does/does not have.
