^I've already given my theory that it will be Three Little Pigs themed. Das Little Piggehs will be the name. There will be three launches, one for straw, one for sticks, and one for bricks. Before each launch, you hear over speakers, "I'll huff, and PUFF, and BLOWWWWWWW your house in!!!!" And when he says BLOWWWWWWW, that's when it launches. If I were any more brilliant, I'd be Picaso and da Vinci's love child.

^ I'll never understand how a coaster was completely built and never opened. -
I've got a stab at it. I'm saying with all the Europe clues (Irish flag, plug adapter, etc.), along with the Eiffel Tower and the fact that you're at Dulles, I'm saying you're going to BGW's Christmas Town and making a pit stop at Kings Dominion to check the progress of 305. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

This is to the point where not even some crackhead trippin' on acid could make this stuff up. -
Great America GCI

One of the guys from GCI commented on a post on their facebook page that the CGA project wound up as Prowler instead. So who knows if the CGA one will ever get built? -
^I don't think we're going to hear anything definitive until either the park announces what's going on or we see track reappear. Without being inside the park, it's impossible to see the bottom of the first drop and turn, and that's obviously where the work is being done. We might see something happen with the 2nd hill, but my guess is the majority of the work is happening at that first turn.

Robb, the whole thing about making money (however much you make) off of DVD sales, merch, trips, etc. often comes up in conversations with coaster friends of mine. The answer you gave is almost word for word the answer I always give them. I don't even want to try to fathom the work that goes into everything that is done with this site, and I can guarantee without a shadow of a doubt that I would be trying to make at least some type of profit if I was working that hard. People get mad because you charge for DVDs, and then I say, so is he supposed to buy DVDs, travel to parks, take footage with an HD camera that he bought, then edit and produce the videos and NOT charge for them?!?! People complain about how much trips cost, and I will definitely admit that a group of people could organize a trip for much cheaper, but not get anywhere NEAR the perks and benefits that come standard on a TPR trip. There was that other site that recently started trying to organize trips, and I remember seeing a quoted price of about $1200 for a central Florida trip. Funny how they bitch and moan about how much TPR trips cost, and then when it comes down to it, they try to organize trips for their own site members and it costs the same!!! Some people say you're an a-hole, arrogant, [insert whatever they always say] and that you don't care about anyone on this site except yourself. Well I believe I've met you three times, including basically the whole day you guys were at AA on the Deep South Tour in 2009, and you've been nothing but professional, courteous, and kind, as have the other members that represented TPR on those dates. Does this mean I "worship" you (as other sites love to claim about TPR members)? No! It just means I've had nothing but pleasant experiences and I can formulate my own opinion on people without following the sheep (whether it be lovers or haters). Anyway, rambling aside, this is without a doubt the best site for enthusiasts that I've come across, so keep doing what you're doing. Haters are gonna hate regardless. -

^Imagine that, it's not running exactly the way it did during empty train testing prior to opening (which is when 99% of official POVs are shot). -

^For Kat's sake, hopefully it doesn't end up in her being sent to prison for fraud. More specifically, misleading her "investors." Actually, we MAY have a case here....... -
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Photo Trip Report
Skycoastin Steve replied to dubaidave's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
In KD's case it was inadvertent, and they seem to be remedying the situation in the off season. In the case of Ferrari World, they wanted the record for speed but didn't want to build a 500 foot hill to bleed off the speed naturally. I'm sure the cost of building something that size would have been astronomical. So they made a regular layout and trimmed the speed off on the first hill, but still left plenty of speed (probably still 100 mph coming down that hill) for the rest of the ride. I mean, they could have not trimmed it and killed everyone that rode it. -
