Last year they retracked some colossus making it pretty smooth. Just increasing the lift speed or removing the pause from the top might help. Most importantly it wouldn't kill to repaint the thing... ^^^^ Lex Luthor^^^ having 4ft of sway and vibrating when Superman is launched sounds orgasmic.

Yeah, I went to knotts this past Sunday and was rather impressed with their operations. It looked like they had one manager walking around everywhere checking up on everything. We were the only ones to ride the giant swing and she walked up through the exit and asked us how our ride was. The employees seem to be happier and more efficent than the the park to the north. This is simply my perspective.

How were crowds in the park?

Anyone go to the park this week monday-wednesday? I'm thinking about going tomorrow but was curious about crowds.

They rehabed one of Viper's trains last year and it was running supppperrr smooth. People came off the ride cheering and clapping. I don't know if the other one got the same treatment. Note: I say rehabed but I just noticed that it had new wheels. They could have done more than just the wheels.

However, after the 1st season all the dinos will be static displays. Finally, in April before the summer rush there will only be 1 static display due to refurbs before the summer.

And they could call it FANTASMIC!!! oh wait... Sorry!!! Couldn't help it! lol Does SFMM even run the batman show anymore?

Little drops of water at 80MPH feels like hail to the face.

No trims? It must have been malfunctioning. Was the first train that morning.

^^^ Back in February/March of this year I got a ride on Goliath without the MCBR trimming. Was an exciting moment.

^^^ I only buy funnell cakes there if there are a few people in line for them... If you just walk in on a slow day they keep 1-2 cakes on the side waiting to get cold. Whenever I leave the park I'll stroll by and take a look to see if there are any just sitting there. I got burned once and that was enough.

Usually the first few days should be the best because the food is at least fresh. The last place wasn't terrible but the guy grilling outside was preparing food for the next day. I remember watching them pull my stuff out of the fridge and re-heating the meat. The bun was legit though. The brisket at WCB was better.
