  1. I love the, "I will Devour your Soul!" Nice TR!
  2. Colossus is still down and the maintanence truck was out there. Scream, Ninja, Revolution, Gold Rusher were all 1 training it. Last week Viper was 1 train but I didn't check for today. Goliath + Batman + Tatsu were double training it. The park did look beautiful today due to the little flowers falling all over the place. Was like walking around a Kung-Fu movie.
  3. Saw Robb chatting it up with Neil today... Didn't say hello because they were in conversation. Was going to check if I could see the GL track from the skytower for EBL or Sir Clink but it closed right as I got in the elevator due to winds. There are some giant mounds of dirt where GL is going to be.
  4. I've never seen them load an entire train with just Flash Pass but that would be ideal on a super busy day if the scheduling software worked out that way. The VIP route would alienate a lot of people at the $300 per person. I like Q-Bot but I do prefer USH front of the line pass more + you get a cool lanyard.
  5. take with Salt. This weekend was impacted by the weather greatly.
  6. It was drizzly so crowds were thin. Stayed in the same seat on Goliath for 4 dispatches before wanting to move on. Tatsu = Walk On Scream = Walk On Apocolpse = Walk on but up to 20 mins (1 train operation but got to skip the pre-show twice) X2 = Walk On Viper = 3 train wait (1 train operation but they just replaced the wheels so it was super smooth) People were cheering when they got off. Revolution = Walk On Ninja = Walk on when I went on it but there were people waiting when I was getting off maybe 5-10 mins Batman = didn't ride but this is usually a walk on for Sunday's Riddlers = Didn't ride Colossus = Still closed for 3rd week in a row it looked like they were doing some work on the lift hill as you could see a tool bag plus yellow tape for certain sections Note: X2 opened at 10:35 (Much better)! We were able to ride Tatsu after being the first train on X2.
  7. If you can see behind Apocolypse on the sky tower then I would assume so. TPR needs to invest in a spy satellite!
  8. The sun was hitting so it had a vibrant limish green look to it... It looked like Cheetah Hunt's track except more vibrant. Remember I was excited to see it and riding Apocolpse so my memory is so so. I'm sure someone will take pics from the station or queue. You can see it best when your turning back into the station so you might be able to grab pics right before you enter the pre-show building.
  9. I was at the Park today... and Yes, some of the Intamin Zac-spin track has arrived + a few supports. A nice green in person!
  10. How do they get away with clearance issues on Woodies? Seems like a few with heavily banked turns an individual could hit the walk path or a hand rail if they wanted to.
  11. You aren't the only loser going that day. The old lady and I are going up on Super Bowl Sunday!
  12. ha ha ha I ride Viper too to check out X2's line!
  13. Oh and another thing I noticed: I was on the first train of Goliath this morning = No Trims on the MCBR!!! 2nd train with just me and by GF was trimmed heavily though. Riddlers: Walk-On Apocolypse: Walk-On Goliath: Walk-On Scream: Walk-On Viper: Walk-On Batman: Walk-On Tatsu: 10mins X2: looked like 30-40mins at 12:30.. I left then so it could have died down later in the day. I went right instead of left and was about 5mins ahead of the crowd so my wait times could be different than what you experience. By the time I was walking off Goliath the first people got in line. If anyone in your group has a Discover Card... bring it.
  14. Today I saw something I've never seen before... They let us skip the Pre-Show on Apocolypse. Also, Riddler was doing loading and unloading very fast. Once the train stopped it only took 1:25 to send it out again. Tatsu was 2.5 -3:00 minute stop to dispatch. They seemed to be moving a little faster than usual today but I don't think X2 or Tatsu opened with the park.
  15. Talk about an ultimate thread revival. They have a new system in place for the future shuttle program. It will be the same concept they used for the apollo missions with solid booster rockets that pull the command module away. 0-600mph in 3.5 seconds I think only one has ever been used by people and it was in russia.
  16. I'm thinking it has to do with the simplicity of the restraints which affects their procedure. Same with Colossus, Goliath when that one lady works, Apocolypse is usually all right. Generally, speaking though they are all around pretty bad. Living in Socal I'm pretty spoiled with the Space Mountain 20 second dispatch.
  17. Sir Clink. You are correct! I only saw one manager picking up trash on Sunday compared to last Weekend where I saw a good number doing so. I did see a group meeting with what looked like leads from different areas getting lectured by someone standing in a circle. The Dispatch lady for Goliath is one of the best and does well at keeping things moving. On a busy day they were pushing 900 per hour. Could be better but they only run 2 trains. Viper's crew was also doing well. Scream got stuck a few times on the MCBR so 5 techs came out and did a reset... only took 15-20mins.
  18. That was well put. I too think we sometimes overlook the fact we are enthusiasts.
  19. I was at the park today and there were a lot of people walking around picking up trash also it seemed like they were training new leads. Apocolypse: The pre-show doesn't seem as long except the first portion but I thought the Main actor was better. I wasn't cringing the entire time being reminded of how terrible McG was at directing. (Last terminator movie) The park as a whole looked a little tired but I felt that was due to the recent weather and their operating hours. No they are not Disney clean but they don't push margins like them either. When I went during the week in December everything seemed good. Employee personality: You could see the leads telling everyone to smile and be up beat but it does feel forced compared to other themeparks. You do see a lot of rowdy guests stepping all over the staff. We saw one lady at the exit of Apocolpse arguing with an employee holding up dispatches for 5-10 minutes. Tatsu & Riddler dispatches are still mind numbing. Does anyone know if they are scored on how many guests they can get through? You see them writting it down every so often but I was curious if they were graded? P.S. The trip report showed a picture of me infront of the Discover Card line.
  20. My GF and I are going tomorrow too! I haven't been to the park on a Sunday since 2000 so any idea how crowds will be?
  21. My GF saw you guys walking around today... She thought you three looked familiar.
  22. Ohh even better. Great Find. Carries a lot more speed around that final bend.
  23. Since everyone is always talking about the MCB I thought I'd share some video of it without it... 4:18 and 9:28 Sorry if this is a repost
