  1. Aliens. Please oh please let him have a cameo in the AVP haunts.
  2. I was unaware this ride even existed until now. No friggin' way. Six Flags really is that lazy to build a third clone in the same area? I mean, yeah, their second, but did they even know SeaWorld had one? Edit - Just checked Google maps. SeaWorld and Fiesta Texas are 14.3 miles apart.
  3. ^ I seriously doubt they would announce a massive new attraction exclusively through a season pass newsletter prior to an official announcement with the media.
  4. ^ Completely forgot that one even existed. Point further proven! Edit - And that one's two years older than Batman at Over Texas! Built in '97.
  5. ^ As insane as you are for wanting two of the same model in one park (hello, Animal Kingdom), I'm pretty sure people in San Antonio wouldn't appreciate having a copy of a ride that's four hours away from fifteen years ago.
  6. NOOOOO!!!! Disaster is one of the most entertaining experiences at Universal Orlando! Sure, the ride itself is dated, but the renovation of the preshow is incredible! Also, The Rock. Actually, speaking of The Rock, if they were to retrofit the attraction into the new Fast & Furious attraction going to Hollywood I wouldn't be too sad.
  7. ^ In addition to making it a much better ride experience. If you're waiting in line for a while and you only get one go-round you'd be a little miffed.
  8. The quote in the picture is - Which probably means in the next newsletter they'll say that there will be an official announcement sometime in September.
  9. First off, this is barely comprehensible. Secondly, S&S makes the El Loco model, so I'm not quite sure what you're getting at. Also there's no way it'll be a B&M unless Six Flags commissioned yet another Batman (cost between $6-$7 million twenty years ago).
  10. ^ But I've put it out there. Someone might see it.
  11. ^ You're just a giant fluffy ball of happiness, aren't you?
  12. ^ Yup. They're extremely efficient coasters. The longest wait I've had was Crush's Coaster at DLP and that was due to some, er, "difficulty" with certain passengers. See below. Sign placement is key.
  13. I just had a horrible thought. Six Flags is going to spin this into an advertising deal for Ricola. "R-I-Colo!"
  14. ^ Yeah, same layout as it's a cookie cutter that's proven to be a winner. It is most definitely NOT a mouse, though. Lagoon has a mouse and this exact model literally across the path from each other and there is absolutely nothing similar between the two.
  15. Screw it. Dark rides now count. They're on wheels. Also Transdemonium is a coaster. Just throwing that back out there.
  16. ^ Ah, the good ol' attempt at being clever.
  17. ^ They said the last day would be August 16th and it's August 12th, soooooo there's that...
  18. Am I the only one wondering why the Hersheypark website has "Launch Coaster" on their website? http://www.hersheypark.com/2015/ I'm assuming someone in IT was misinformed, but you never know.
  19. Looks like the same model as Crush's Coaster, Spider (Lagoon), and the one at Santa Cruz Boardwalk. It's a top notch spinning coaster layout as no matter how many people are in the car it still spins like there's no tomorrow. Excellent addition for Hershey!!!! Edit - Yup, after watching the POV it's definitely the same model. Sweet!
  20. ^ Friday, then. Definitely. Also, you'll be able to see the incredibleness of Fantasmic! If you've seen it in Orlando, you've seen the crap version. Fantasmic! at Disneyland is the same general show but with a BUNCH of new elements and many, many, many more explosions. Also a gigantic animatronic dragon that shoots fire in your face. If you're interested, here's the videos I took back in 2011. World Of Color has since been updated with new animations and new segments. Fantasmic! is still the same. 21. ^^ I'd be iffy about it. It won't be summer or Christmas packed but it will have a crowd. Honestly if you guys know how to use FastPass and have no problem abusing single rider lines you'll be fine. Our last visit in May had pretty huge crowds but we still managed to get everything thanks to those two things, just not multiple times. You'll be able to see and do most of, if not all of, the parks, you just won't be going on everything a bunch of times like you would if you hit the parks during the week. Are you getting park hoppers or one park per day passes? If you have one park per day I'd recommend Disneyland on Friday and California Adventure on Saturday. With hoppers it really won't matter as you can just bounce back and forth if you feel one park it too crowded. Also, whenever you do California Adventure make it a priority to get your FastPasses for World Of Color immediately after park opening. If you don't get one and are stuck with general admission you'll only see 10% of the show, if that. General admission is crap. Either pray for Blue Zone from FastPass or get one of the dining reservation packages with the reserved seating. If you don't have a problem with getting drenched, and you shouldn't (since it's a friggin' water show that will blow your mind), get as close to the front center as possible. If you don't want to get wet, hang back about two tiers towards the center. You won't be able to see the water-level laser craziness, but you'll still be able to see the water screens, fountains, and aerial lasers.
  22. Are you by any chance going to be in town on the 15th and 16th? That's when the girlfriend and I visited last September. You won't get the classic Space Mountain or Haunted Mansion as they'll both be in Halloween mode (Ghost Galaxy and Nightmare Before Christmas) but you'll be able to ride. Also, like I mentioned earlier, the park is EMPTY. Weekends you're still playing with fire, but Monday through Thursday there's no need for FastPass.
  23. I was just looking at the schedule and it didn't look like anything that major was closed for that entire week. Space Mountain is closed September 8th through 11th for its Ghost Galaxy refit. We're aware that we'll be missing out on that and Haunted Mansion (also down for the refit). California Screamin' is going down on the 9th for some kind of maintenance, so we'll just ride the crap out of it on Monday they 8th, haha. I DO know, however, that Indy will be up. This pleases me. I'm sure the ride ops are going to get extremely tired of my goofy arse.
