Big talker over here. The general consensus that I've seen is that the conversions are great rides but Outlaw Run is still king of RMCs since it's a totally custom design.

^ I understand your complaints, but you need to look at it from the perspective of the park, not as a repeat guest. Universal designed those rides to pump people through in large groups. For the main show being as large and long as it is, it would be very inconvenient for people to be stuck outdoors in the hot Florida summer longer thn they need to. Therefore they do the multiple preshows to get people indoors. And yes, I'm aware that they could enclose the queue areas, but would you rather stand in a line in the air conditioning or be somewhat entertained while in line with a preshow? Remember, Universal Orlando, just like all of the Orlando parks, thrive mostly from tourists. Their market isn't toward the people that will visit multiple times in one year, it's to the people who will visit once every few years or longer. If you haven't been to Universal in five years you wouldn't think the preshows are as annoying than when you visit constantly.

In the most technical sense of the word possible. They stick to weekend-only operation for half the year. Knott's, Disney, Uni, etc all stay open year-round legitimately and yet still manage to get projects and maintenance done in a timely fashion. Imagine Six Flags' construction crews are akin to road construction while most other parks' construction crews are the ones that build a McDonald's overnight.

^^ Regardless of how cheesy Disaster Transport was, it's always sad to lose a toboggan coaster, especially the single car model like DT was. As for Windseeker, it'd be a good replacement if they went with a manufacturer that can produce dependable rides (Funtime StarFlyer).

Dueling Colossus. Why? Well, this is Six Flags, they've really got two types of ride names lately. Either thinly-veiled racism (Zumanjaro, Kingda Ka) or blatantly obvious (Iron Rattler, New Texas Giant).

Excellent update for the orca tanks. The concept art reminds me of the aesthetic they were going for with SWSD's dolphin tank, just on a much larger scale. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Tell you what, if YOU can provide ME (or all of us, for that matter) with the official plans for BGW's 2015 coaster that says it's the exact same ride as SFDK's Superman, you can go ahead and make that statement. As far as I'm concerned, though, since there is no official word on that attraction yet, you're full of hot air.
