I've been on Diamondback 20 times now and never seen that box full of cell phones, camera's, etc. They must of recently added that, since I would always see cell phones and hats in the net below the first drop lol.

I was in the front seat. It's a lot worse then it was with the old trains.

I don't know what you were smoking OP, but Son of Beast is a terrible coaster when I rode it a week ago. You better be sitting alone on that ride, otherwise your going to be hitting each other all over the place on that first helix. I've never had so much of a headache then after riding that ride. Besides, it's nothing without the loop. I'd rater see an Invert or a floorless go there instead. I have no idea why a park the size of KI doesn't have a B&M invert, when you got parks with only 4-5 coasters have one. (BGE)

Maxair is the same thing as King's Island's Delirium. My friend that I stated in my first post got on, but he said it was a little tight. Same with Drop Zone. You might also have a tight fit on The Crypt. But for the love of god, don't waste your time with that ride. It's not even close to what it used to be with all the theming removed on the ride. Not to mention it's like 4x shorter.

Not to be rude, but how does smoke stay like that for 10 minutes? Wouldn't the wind blow it away after a couple of seconds?

You'll defiantly be safe for Diamondback and Firehawk. My 250lb friend was able to ride both with no problems at all. I'm not to sure about the rest.

I've had many bad experiences in ride openings at Kings Island. Flight of Fear - Waited around 3 hours only to find out I wasn't tall enough to ride it. Face-Off - With only 1 train and about 10 switchbacks being 100ft long, that's just spelling disaster. I think I waited around 3 hours for it. Son of Beast - 5 hour wait due to 1 train, and multiple breakdowns. Tomb Raider - I was one of the first to get there, but the ride broke down while they were testing it. After 2 hours I gave up.

I think they do that at Canada's Wonderland too. The reason they ask you to check it yourself I think may have to do with lawsuits too. If an accident happens, they want to try and stay out of it so you don't say its their fault. They do it at Kings Island too. While annoying, I think it's a pretty safe procedure.
