In between the drop tower and the Carolina Cyclone is my guess. Or right by the front gate. There's also the option of it being right across from the skytower where all that empty land is.

But even if they are putting in a new extreme roller coaster is the attendance going to increase to get it into the top 20 due to the giga? Maybe it's just that CW has a bigger attendance from the area its in compared to KD.

So if we are right about the announcements then we won't hear of one til late August? Arg... Well the games they play can be fun but I like it when someone leaks out all the plans then when they make the official release we know most of whats going to happen.

Yeah now I KNOW the CF employees are laughing at this. We're all fumbling over what's going to happen when we have no idea.

That's a good point. But being that KD is a leader in park attendence I think with this new 300ft. giga they are going to have a lot of people come out and rank this higher? Who knows it'll all be over by next Thursday

What about the speed of the rides too...KD is getting a 90-100+mph, Carowinds a 70+ and CP ? I think it's just the date of press releases and the biggest to the smallest announcement

Now theres the real question. I'm guessing they'll both be great knowing B&M's hypercoasters and MF from Intamin, but my guess is the giga due to the height and speed compared to a hypercoaster. More people are going to go for the bigger thrill, but who knows. I sure don't!

That's a really good idea but i have no idea if that's going to happen. We'll just have to wait and see....

That's what i'm thinking considering the track, car invites, and stuff. And the car theme will have NASCAR in it i heard.

With the limited space available a Eurofighter could fit if it's a custom one that went around MF's turns over towards TTD, but besides that I can't see any other HUGE ride go in there. A water ride they could do since they have only 1 or 2, but what kind? Wasn't it rumored a while back they were getting Perilous Plunge from KBF? That would have been a good addition, except for the fact they already have a splash boat...

I still think it's gonna be a new roller coaster

AHA I'VE GOT IT!!!!! Looking at the Whyte Lightning site again it all makes sense to me....they are actually going to re-do MF! I mean come on look at these quotes. "lightning strikes twYce" - a reference to MF's new theme... "Bold. Exciting. Refreshing." REFRESH...re-do! The MF upsidedown logo means it's REFRESHMENT....like a beverage cover up! "A beverage unlike any other. Coming soon" A beverage aka refreshment... and the logo for the Crystal Rock Bottling Co. looks like CP for the first letters except the Rock just has a little squigly on it and without it it looks like a P and then a C above it! So I think they are just refreshing MF and giving it the WHYTE LIGHTNING thing....but what about that spot of land on Millennium Island??? The Crystal Rock Bottling Co. going there?

The best is definetly Fahrenheit's craaaazy little airtime hill! Oh and Apollo's Chariot is awesome as well with the little hill there too. The Pheonix at Knoebels had an INSANE ending! The worst is...can't think at the moment.

Duh...Griffon, definitely! Woooooohooooo all that floating airtime in the back row when it pulls you right over the vertical dives...just amazing! Apollo's Chariot is really good too....and I went to Knoebels last Fri. and the Pheonix had some SICK airtime!!! I was practically standing up at those little bumps at the end due to the lap bar at your chest and no seat belts!!! AWESOME RIDE!!!

Oh this is all so confusing...yes the Whyte Lightning thing is all for Carowinds and CP but what about the red track for bot Carowinds and KD???? Oh god this is all so confusing! Does anyone know when they are doing the media release for CP's coaster? I know KD's and Carowinds are days apart but jeeze why can't they just all tell us at once!!!!

I was on ScreamScape checking out todays rumors and stuff and came along how on CP's Blog they said "To thank our sponsors" with one never heard of before - the Crystal Rock Bottling Company. I clicked on it... Got a direct link to the site above. So CP's coaster will be named Whyte Lightning but i have no idea why they would have THREE named the same names. I think that the KD and Carowinds coasters will be named and themed after the car thing and CP will have the Why(i)te Lightning name... I rode BBW in July and it was definitely worse the Loch Ness. It didn't ride smooth like roller coasters are supposed to it jerked like the train was waiting for the back to catch up then bam we were off again...it did it the whole ride. Even though it's bad, old mainly, I don't think they should take it out. They have land back behind it for a new area and flyer don't they? (Personally a flyer is going to be a LOT better then BBW) Oh well....
