  1. Here are a few pictures I got on our visit to HHN, we ended up going the last weekend of the event on Friday the 26th and really lucked out with the weather from Sandy. I always enjoy this event but did miss the scare zones of years past. Gates of Hell! Let the mayhem begin! Parade of Ghouls 20 Penny Circus. Wasnt really all that impressed with this show. Seemed like your typical circus sideshow act.
  2. Lets go for it lol. We are going to HHN later this month so hopefully can get some decent nights shots while there.
  3. Great pictures Richard Here are some I have taken recently
  4. Is China that bad with smog all time and all over or does it clear up once away from the big city's?
  5. What a great TR so far Look forward to seeing more!
  6. Awesome photos and view. I think I just had a roller coastergasm!
  7. A few photos I took from Star Wars Weekend this past Saturday. This was my first time partaking in the Star Wars Weekend events and had fun. I didnt get all into the autograph signings or the character meets like others but still managed to get on Star Tours a few times, saw the parade and saw Hyperspace Hoopla, so felt that was sufficient enough for the inner nerd in me Storm Troopers from the 501st taking over Everyone loves a mouse. Thsi little guy was the coolest Storm Trooper I saw the whole weekend! My biscuits are burning! My biscuits are burning! Those Tuskens walk like men, but they're vicious, mindless monsters Hyperspace Hoopla is Supa Dupa. Thsi was a great shop IMO and worth camping out for a close spot rather early. Please do not be this guy Fisheye of the main gate at the end of the day
  8. Here is a picture I took at Car Masters Weekend yesterday of the Lightning McQueen car they had out on display. I didnt take all that many pics while there since it was a quick trip thru Downtown Disney before heading home.
  9. Some Sorcerer Mickey action. As you can tell I have really only been to the Disney parks lately hence all the Disney pics I should have titled this picture the, "Im exhausted photo". Typically the only chance I get to do any sort of work with my photos is when our two babies fall asleep for the night and lately that has been around 10 every night so having to wake up at 4:30 every morning for work really leaves no time at night once the kidos do go to bed. Last night I said to heck with that since I wanted to get this pic done. I shouldn't have rushed but was tired and just ready to call it a night. Its by far perfect and you can seem a few spots I missed but all in all it came out pretty cool. If i get time this weekend I may go back and touch up. For this picture I used two copies of the same picture. In Photoshop I applied a lens blur to the background for one of the photos and then left the other one alone since that was going to be my foreground. I then copy and pasted the background onto the foreground picture. Once done with that, using mask layers I took the paintbrush tool and erased everything around the foreground to revel what background I wanted to use, which that in itself was tedious and very time consuming and where most my flaws in this picture happened. After that was done(or so I thought lol) I flattened the image and sent it on its merry way and what you see is the outcome. Also note that I am still very new at the whole Photoshop stuff and still learning and the easiest way for me is to actually get in there and experiment and have fun. If anyone has any input or even any ways to do what I did but in an easier technique by all means feel free to comment and let me know. Thank you = )
  10. I ended up down in WIldwood in the summer of 09 for the weekend to attend a wedding and really had no prior knowledge of what coasters or anything Wildwood had and man was I pleasantly surprised. Our first night as soon as we got there (after a 7 hour drive from North Jersey cause of traffic) We headed to the Great Nor'Easter and I thought it was a fun pretty intense coaster. Was shocked to see a coast er like that on a pier lol. All in all I loved Wildwood and would love to go back some time.
  11. Was there ever a winner picked for the shackles caption?
  12. Wow those tilt shift specific lenses are a fortune. It's a nice effect but not something I would invest that much money into just one lens to achieve.
  13. Thank you Richard That lens has really grown on me since I picked it up back in April.
  14. Although they are nice pictures I agree they should be your own.
  15. Awesome pictures Richard! I epsecially like the Epcot one and Terminator eyes Heres a few more ive been working on. I hope you guys enjoy them Adventureland over the top fisheye After seeing you guys post some tilt shift I figured id give it a try. 16. My entry Adam to Renee - You know, I do have the take home edition of these shackles, only mine are the Chewbacca version and are played with fuzzy handcuffs and a little lightsaber!
  17. I seriously have never laughed out loud this much reading a trip report before. Robb your captions are hilarious lol
  18. Photoshop or not, those pictures are bad A$$! Great job
  19. Here are a few pictures I took at Busch Gardens Bash last October. The processing is a little over the top but still pretty cool. Richard - OzIris reminds me a lot of Montu and looks like Parc Asterix did a fantastic job with the theming, love that room with the blue ceiling! Hows the ride itself? Cheetah Hunt, Dive down under bridge to second launch Montu parts laying around taken during behind the scenes tour Sheikra's second drop into tunnel
  20. Thank you Richard You have some pretty awesome pictures also! I use a Sony A55 that I just picked up 2 months ago with a Tamron 17-50mm, a Rokinon 8mm Fisheye, Sony 35mm f/1.8 and a Sony 55-200mm kit lens. Prior to that I had a Sony A390 for about 9 months so this hobby is a fairly new one lol. What camera do you use? We get up to Orlando every few months so my theme park picks dry u for a little while until I get a chance to get back but I will for sure post some more. Still have a bunch from this past trip to go thru. I would love to go over seas and experience the parks over there, one day
  21. Here is a variety of different pictures from last week that I took around the Walt Disney resort area. As far as editing I import them into Lightroom then bring out some detail, colors, pop using Nik Color Efex. The HDR I run thru Photomatix to combine the multiple exposures. Sorcerer Mickey welcoming everyone to the 2012 Flower and Garden Festival Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom C3PO T-rex restaurant fish eye at Downtown Disney. Not as sharp as I hoped it would have come out but still pretty cool. Expedition Everest HDR photo Illuminations Great Movie ride Monkey on Kilimanjaro Safari ride at Animal Kingdom Random Everest explorers Typhoon Lagoon
  22. Very true. There were some pretty dark spots scattered around even with the added lights orbs they had for us. Makes you wonder what they do for the maintenance workers who work over night trying to get things done in that darkness lol.
  23. I know that extended hours came up back when Avatar was announced, but it sounds like they could be more than just talk! I'd love to see this place open later and maybe get its own nighttime spectacular (looking at you, WoC/DD), it just needs enough to occupy people for the extra hours first. Cue Avatar! Ill tell you what, the night of the Everest Challenge was the first time I have been inside Animal Kingdom at night and it has an awesome different feel to it than it normally does during the day. I would love to see some later hours and nighttime stuff going on
