  1. ^ Thank you. Ended up taking about 400 pictures that whole day at Busch Gardens and over 1000 the 3 day weekend we took between BGT, Universal and Sea World lol.
  2. Busch Gardens Tampa has so much to offer for everyone between the awesome coasters, flat rides, and animals you can go all day and still not see everything. Our best giraffe impression Shiekra towering over Scorpion Warning you may get wet Got to train them early Just monkeying around Always one in every crowd Montu tour time. Norman was super excited to be giving this tour Montu thinks im a perfect angel I like my bearings frozen Coaster guts Eye see you Inside the belly of the beast Somethings missing here The making of a funny picture Outside portion of the Montu tour. I that too much to ask for?!?!? CROWDED! Good night BGT and TPR, it was an epic day and a long one at that!
  3. My first TPR Bash and I had a blast, along with everyone in my group. Thanks Robb, Elissa, Busch Gardens Tampa and anyone else involved with getting these bashes together. ERT on Cheetah and Montu was the greatest, well worth getting to the park at the crack of dawn for lol. Both tours were outstanding and both Scott and Norm were great tour guides and you could tell they are very passionate about what they do. A great day all around and look forward to many more TPR events in the future Rise and shine, lets get started Waiting for the sleeping beast to wake Little ones first coaster Loved the ERT on the 2 coasters The real deal and best buddy Be one with the Cheetah Under the bridge, over the sky ride to grandmas house we go They grow up fast! Cheetah pumpkin dodgeball Top of the world. Very eye pleasing element thats for sure Zero to lazy Cheetah
  4. ^ Yeah we figure the big kids get to go to HOS Saturday night so we will take the little kidos to Sea World Sunday for some Spooktacular fun. T- Minus 8 hours until we hit the road
  5. ^ You cant go wrong a taco bar lol. A tad off base here but I found a fajita buffet in Orlando off 192 sorta across from the old Splendid China area. Food was pretty good. Thats all, now back to the BGT bash and the taco bar lol.
  6. ^ Save me a seat on Sheikra lol Anyone hitting up any parks before or after the event? We are heading up Thursday after work and will be at Universal and IOA on Friday and then Sea World Sunday. Cant wait, Zero to Cheetah . . .
  7. I totally understand what you mean and appreciative with any official events and/or unofficial meets ups you guys come up with. I smell a Drinking race around World Showcase to BBR challenge in the making, last person to toss their tortillas wins lol
  8. Plus now its only a 2 hour flight for them to get up to NYC instead of a 6 hour flight. Scott's Pizza Tours and Build a Muppet - the real reason for the move hahaha
  9. Domo arigato mr Domo! Hopefully with the Bush Gardens Bash just about sold out that bodes well for future Florida bashes and shows that there is a market for them although more pricey. Robb and Elissa - If you build it, they will come.
  10. 12 more days . . . . is it too soon to start packing our bags? How many of you guys will this be your first visit to Busch Gardens Tampa?
  11. I don't know about that one, Legoland will be there everyday compared to how often do you have the chance to go to a TPR Bash at Busch Gardens with everything this event has lined up for us, not that often. For me the bash wins hands down. Also HOS itself starts well after the time Legoland closes for the day so technically you could do both. Besides Legoland is going to be a mad house day.
  12. Hahah that is an awesome idea
  13. Those skiing Lego guys and pirate look so awesome lol.
  14. Thank you for answering my question during the live chat
  15. Lol you got it. And I see I can get into the chat room on my iPhone. Double awesome!
  16. So now that team Alvey is relocating to the sunshine state do you think that will also improve the chances of having some more Florida bashes in the future? Busch Gardens Bash hasn't even happened yet and already excited for what the future holds for Florida Bashes
  17. This actually is good news! I remember the Fright Feast not exactly having the most amazing food last time! They were raving also about the pumpkin cheesecake coming back this year also. I'm not a big fan of cheesecake so doesn't do much for me lol
  18. ^ they will be a couple hours after you eat them hahaha
  19. We interupt this thread to bring you an important news update!!! Read some reports that Fright Feast has a taco bar this year!!! Most excellent news!! That alone is worth the price of admission if you ask me lol!
  20. Just went to buy some tickets for Alone for the TPR night and the only thing left available is like around the 7pm time frame : (
  21. From what I have read Animal Kingdom was supposed to open with a land dedicated to mythical creatures (Beastly Kingdom) and was supposed to have a dragon themed coaster but all scraped with budget cuts (IOA stole the idea and hence Dueling Dragons). Tree of Life even had a unicorn and dragon carved in there somewhere.
  22. This is what Disney posted on their blog moments ago. "We have great news to share today. At a press conference happening right now at Walt Disney Imagineering, Bob Iger and Tom Staggs just announced a long-term creative partnership with James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Filmed Entertainment to bring the fantasy world of AVATAR to life at Disney Parks. And it’ll all begin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. James and his producing partner Jon Landau and their team at Lightstorm Entertainment will serve as creative consultants on the project and will work side-by-side with our Walt Disney Imagineers as we dream up experiences that will take our guests deep into worlds of AVATAR like never before. There are also two sequels to the record setting first film in the works, which will offer more fascinating stories, characters and locations to explore in the AVATAR universe. Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort is planned as the site of the first AVATAR-themed land with construction expected to begin by 2013. We believe Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a great fit for this project because it was created to give guests the opportunity to experience the worlds of animals and nature – real and mythical – in new ways. Disney’s Animal Kingdom also celebrates adventure, living in harmony with nature and environmental stewardship – themes that are deeply rooted in the story of AVATAR. The design phase on the Disney’s Animal Kingdom project has just begun so stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more details. Got questions about the announcement? If so, Tom Staggs will be answering them in a special Q&A blog post later today. Just submit your name, city where you’re from and your question to questionsfortom@disney.com and then check the Disney Parks Blog later to see some of the answers."
  23. I've stayed there. It's OK. The rooms are clean and you get a free breakfast with a waffle maker. It's right by the police department. The place has kind of a maze-like layout, though. I think $55 is a little high to pay for the hotel, but the closeness to BG can't be beat and it's probably one of the better hotels on Busch Blvd. I stayed there a couple years back and left my cell phone in the room after checking out. Got to Busch and realized I forgot it a few hours later and called to the hotel and who ever was cleaning the rooms that day was actually honest and turned it in to the front desk. Picked it up after the day was over at BG and headed home. Just wanted to give a positive review for LaQuinta.
  24. Yeah i was thinking around that same time also. I was going to pick up mine next week so when I do ill get around that time so if more groups want to go around that time then they can also.
  25. Anyone get Alone tickets yet? Was looking to see what time people were thinking of going and maybe getting a few groups going around the same time.
