All I have to say is the park could use some B&M love...

^you would be wrong. Darien Lake has be given new life with the new ownership. I went to the park the last year of six flags management and is was practicably no lines ( it was a sunny day in june or July ) RoS was walk on and I probably got like 10 rides that day. Wanna know why people stopped going? Six flags stuck a pole up your rear end on the food prices and parking. Parking was like $15 and a slice of pizza $6. People were going to smaller parks like Sea Breeze and Martain's Fantasy Island over Darien Lake because Six Flags stopped adding things and and continued to raise prices. While people will call RoS superman (heck, I even do it sometimes or call it that so that my friends know what I'm talking about) and people will call it a Six Flags Park. Just the way it is. People do however really enjoy and notice the effort that they put into making the park what it is now.

well they are for sure from voyage, Holiday World has said that. Also I must say The park management is doing an excellent job with making all the coasters look nice

YES now it doesn't just look nice, it rides nice. Can't wait to ride it this year, last year was horrible. Was thinking about it myself of going opening day but weather and other plans came up. Also I would have been disappointed to see half the coasters closed, especially RoS. While most likely I'll just get out to the park once this summer (ever when I'm a hour away) I am really excited about it. Will be interesting to ride Viper in Black. The ride has always been a favorite of mine.

If they are doing what it looks like they'll run them in the voyage colors and just removed the voyage label and not replace it with predator according to recent facebook pics

Nice photos, Glad to see some paint work is being done, I personaly think I'll like the old green track better, but least it will look nice n shinny. Also I have heard rumors outa their facebook page, get this, PREDATOR IS SMOOTH NOW! while I think It'll still be rough and very low ranking I am excited to ride it.

I can't see one being made in America yet alone one going to a park that has a hyper coaster. So I think it'd be a independent park if it happened.

Fixed. Correct me if I am wrong, but numerous of Universal execs left their jobs at Universal to work on this park and start it. Hence why it had an IOA feel to it. lol, actually i think they did.

so it sounds like Darien Lake has 2 out of the three trains( 2 is all the ride can run) and Holiday World still has one of them. So looks like the may replace both trains, wonder if I could buy one of the cars...

one train operations, that'll not be fun. well beats having it closed while waiting for the new trains

darn shame what happened to the park. I wish I could've gone. I think if universal had done this is the first place, better location, attached hotel, and a bigger "star-attraction" this would have been a hit.

Really if you think about it, they could have got it re-built and improved for that much by Gravity Group or GCI

speaking of GCI and Gravity Group, how come it seems that Gravity group doesn't get much work, yet there coasters are considered some of the best in the world?

lol, I agree with that. It should help the ride be smoother though so I'm all for it. Also this is as close to riding the voyage as I'm gonna get for a while.

Some updates with "Flat Stanley" have been showing off some of the things the park has been doing. I think the waterpark seems to have very little done from the pictures, but one thing I am excited about is according to the photos Predator will be getting new train(s) this year Sadly they appear to my knowledge to be more PTC's. BUT IT APPEARS TO BE THE OLD VOYAGE CARS FROM HOLIDAY WORLD! I don't think Six Flags owns it. Also I am getting worried. This looks like geauga lake: the revenge. IM they are opening a waterpark that can have separate admission. They're "new" ride motocoaster was installed in such way that it can be moved much like a carnival coaster. It just sits on the old pool deck from the campground pool. Do I think the rides will leave and the waterpark will be the only thing left? No, it most likely won't happen. Possibility? Yes, very much so.
