Photo TR: Freestyle Music Park

WOW! Awesome TR!! I really need to make sure I get down to this park before it closes. It seems like it could have potential, I just hope that the GP realizes that and brings enough money into the park. -

TR: Hershey Park May 23-24, 2009

I rode both sides. The first time it was Thunder and we won by a landslide. The second time it was Lightning and we barely beat them. I guess I'm just a natural born winner! -

OMG Hershey Park is my new favorite park! We got on SuperDooperLooper first. It was mehh after the loop. Then Great Bear. We waited in line for an hour and it was defiantly worth it! Next was Fahrenheit and OMG that was the best ride ever!!!! Even though the line was an hour and 30 minutes, we waited and it was worth it! Storm Runner was up and down all day so we never got a chance to ride it. I wish though because the launch looked so intense! After Farenheit, we rode Wildcat and it wasn't rough like I heard it would be. And the line was only 20 minutes. After that, it was time for Lightning Racer! My side won and it was a blast! Before we left we rode Fahrenheit and Lightning Racer one more time! Fahrenheit at night is the best, and the line died down to only 45-50 minutes! Lightning Racer was a 2 train wait the first time and a walk-on the second time. I LOVE HERSHEY PARK!!! -

Thanks guys! I already expect huge crowds because I'm going for a band Festival at Charles Dauplin High (or something like that) and the awards cermony is at the park. All of the area bands are going to be at the park. Does Hershey have a flashpass system? -

Great TR! Looks like you had a great time! Well, I'm going to Hershey Park for the first time this Saturday for only about 6 hours, and I want to know how long should the lines for Fahrenheit, Stormrunner, Great Bear, Lightning Racer, Wildcat, and Superdooperlooper should be. Does anyone think I'll be able to do all of them in that short period of time, especially on a busy Saturday? -
The Return of Flash Mountain

This reminds me of when me and my friends and some random people flashed the camera on Superman at SFA last year! Only 2 girls did it too but they had t-shirts underneath. When we saw the pic, all you saw was half of the train flashing! Wish I would have taken a pic of it, it was hilarious. -
This epidemic reminds me of the Staff or Staph (however you spell it lol) epidemic we had last year. Everyone was running around panicing, thinking that they will catch the disease and about a month after they started talking about it, everything was back to normal event though staph is still out there. I know I spelled it wrong, somebody please correct it.

Hersheypark Springtime in the Park
CoasterNERD502 replied to Jman0477's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm going up to Hershey Park on May 30th, I'm wondering since half the rides are closed for the spring, would Storm Runner and Fahrenheit be open by then. Hopefully because they are the main reasons why I wanted to go so bad. Those and Lightning Racers and Great Bear. -

Awesome TR! That closeup pic of Volcano from Americana is Beautiful! You also made Shockwave look good! lol. I really need to get back out to KD, I havent been since 07 so I have yet to ride Dominator -
They are getting Thomas Town next year though. SFA is just alittle late when it comes to new attractions. EX: Tony Hawk's Halfpipe came out a couple years after the first few Tony Hawk coasters. We finally got a Johnny Rockets, 3-point shootout and Coldstone this year. So next year we are getting Thomas Town. SFI tests out new ideas at other parkss before bringing them to SFA. Just wait til 2011, we should have a Dark Knight lol.

^Its there job to talk and "try to convince people to play". If they sit there quiet and wait for people to walk to them, then they get in trouble by the managers. Trust me, I know, I was one of those annoying employees yesterday. (I worked at the Hi-Strikers game next to Basketball and Johnny Rockets

Yeah I see where your going with that, but isnt the Cap Center or Verizon Center (MCI) in DC? Every large city has its share of problems. But SFA is aout 20 minutes outside of DC, so the area in a 5 mile range of the park is really nice. Right across the street from the park is a giant church and a retirement neighborhood, down the street to the left are many nice neighborhoods and elementary schools, to the right is two shopping centers that are also very nice. So what I'm saying is that there are some nice places around the park, but SFA does get some of the "bad" people (they are all called guests to me, I don't discriminate on good or bad people lol). since the park is so close to some "bad" parts of DC. But honestly, I've seen a lot more fights on youtube from SFMM than SFA. I think I've never seen a fight on youtube from SFA. Also, does anyone call SFoG's area a bad area? Remember the kid that got jumped there? The worse we have at SFA is theft, but thats everywhere.
-
Its not in a bad area. Prince Georges County isnt the best area, but its certainly not bad. Everywhere you go you get the people that think there "bad" or think "they go hard" I guess, but they fakin'. PG is the richest African American county in the state and maybe the country, (somebody told me that before and I believe them, but I never researched it) so if you can afford a big house, and can afford to go to a good school ,you are CERTAINLY NOT BAD lol. But, you shouldnt go on what you've heard about the area/park if you've never been. I live here and work at SFA and I know have a different understanding of the area that you've never experienced. (I'm not trying to put you on the spot, or whatever, I'm just saying) Its not like they smacked SFA right down in the middle of Southeast, DC. Its in Bowie, MD. With a name like Bowie, you are deffinantly not bad lol.

Families always go to SFA. This is just going to keep them in the park longer. I think the crowds of SFA are mainly teen groups, then families with small children, then adults without any children at all. If you go to Looney Tunes Movie Town on any day, you'll see hundreds of kids running around getting on rides. And what do you mean What have they heard or seen? I dont understand. I'm very glad that SFA announced it so soon! And I'm very glad they are getting something new for 2010, even though I already knew that we were getting something next year. I guess I kind of ruined the surprise a couple pages back.... From page 65 Whoops

In 07, me and my family went to City Walk at Universal Studios Hollywood since the tickets were too expensive to get in the actual park and they wasted most of the vacation money in Vegas 2 days before Well while we were in Jillian's, me and my sister were walking around trying to find a game to play when my clumsy sister drops her game card. I went to pick it up and right as soon as I lifted up my head I saw Tango from the "I love New York" reality TV show on VH1. I think he was on the first season and won, then left her at the reunion special. My sister was speechless, but he's not even a E-list celeb and i would probably forget about him if I never saw him at Jillian's! lol And last year, me and my friends went to SFA randomly for the day, and while we were walking towards The Wild One, we saw Jordin Sparks walking the opposite direction! So obviously we followed her and she was leaving. I wish we got a picture with her and I wanted to sing "No Air" to her. (Jordin fans or people with good music taste will understand that lol) I hope I see some celebs this summer since I now work at SFA!

I have a whole list of rides that I ruined by riding twice or three times in a row: Loch Ness Monster- so much fun the first time around, then the second time I hated it Wild One- so much fun the first couple rides, but the 3rd time was extra boring! Joker's Jinx/Flight of Fear- after the first ride, the launch wasn't fun anymore. Theres more but I cant think of them right now.

Also what is that behind Mean Streak? They look like little houses. Wicked Twister looks like its gone! (just kidding) Its probably rehab.....??? Hopefully its just rehab. -
