Crazy4Coasters!

^ You know what's crazy... I never ever had to think about "how what coasters does Knott's have" when I wanted to visit the park in the early 90's. The park just had a pure charm that drew families on a constant basis on multiple trips. Everytime I see PP's turnaround, before the drop, I can help but remember the sweet dolphin show on the stadium which once stood there. Those were the days!

^^ Even up to the early 90's Knott's still had it's charm. I remember going crazy trying to sell chocolate bars in school so I can get a free trip to Knott's during those time. Knott's was an awesome park and sadly it has lost much of it's charms throughout the years. Also I completely agree with your sentiments about Silver Bullet. IMO you hit the nail right on the head bud.

Anyone know how are the crowds usually on Veteran's day at the park? I'm heading out there Wednesday with some family and I was wondering how crowded it usually gets for that holiday?

^^ I actually did! I did not include WCB in the same line of thought because it was a TPR event which of course kicked major booty!!! So to be fair I just wanted to praise SFMM for an event they were soley reponsible for and boy did they DELIVER!!! Sorry didn't mean to be too vague...

Just a quick side note about the SFMM season pass... I received the email about renewing my season for next year and on the item list (#8) kinda confirms that there will be another "Private Passholder Night" next year for season pass holders. I did go to this year's event and without a doubt it was the best day I had at the Mountain since I can remember. So everyone who couldn't go this year this is your chance to get into the mix. *The following was not a "paid for" commercial advertising SFMM season pass... But I really wish it were!" Well I couldn't grab the whole station but it was the best I could do with the camera on my cell. Now that was a great season pass holder day! One in a Million!

^^ I remember the parking lot being bigger before too. I remember being able to park right in front of Colossus if I'm not mistaken in the late 80's / early 90's. BTW I didn't have a clue a parking structure could be that expensive! Shheeezzzz!!!

Does anyone know why Knott's got rid of this ride? It got replaced with RipTide, a similar but smaller ride. Well at least it's nice to know Hammer Head is still in pretty good shape.

I have no problem with Demon Drop coming to Knott's but I can already see the "but we already have a 'freefall' ride with supreme scream" discussion so... Let it begin!
