  1. ^You seemed to sum up how I feel about BTM, but you can't expect a dinky little vekoma mine train to be even remotely forceful Space Mountain definitely can give you a decent fix for force, but I was expecting more negative g's than I got last time I rode (although it was the front seat). And there have been just tons of people who have filmed Magical already, but I'm sure lots of people on TPR have seen it too
  2. ^I never experience any head banging, there's minor jolting, but for a Vekoma it's smooth
  3. ^The dragon wont be there until midsummer because it's broken (good one Disney ) That was a great TR, although I'm shocked that you thought Space Mountain had more airtime than BTR, I always find that BTR ejects you over some of those hills, while space mountain has zero negative G's. But everyone has their different opinions. This TR makes me wanna make more use out of my Disneyland pass!
  4. Wow, I think CF needs to up their game if they wanna beat that, awesome trip report, sad to hear that Kingda Ka made your day end early though
  5. Those are adorable, they have them at the Santa Barbara zoo too
  6. Yeah, I don't know if too many people on the site would know the answer, but I do know that having 10 men push you is very efficient!
  7. SFMM is really weird with the videos they post, because X2's always seems to be changing, sometimes it's the graphic, other times it's testing footage, and other times it's a highlight reel
  8. ^^Somebody fell victim to serious sarcasm
  9. I always arrive 45-30 minutes early, run with the bulls to x2 (I'm a straight up nerd) then do Tatsu and the rest of the park clockwise from there
  10. ^^Yeah it's basically all of the forces, you're not supposed to re ride Titan/Goliath because that helix is just so damn powerful (of course it never makes me go grey )
  11. Aww the LOL sign brings back memories of running the LA Marathon a couple weeks ago (we had to run by it) -Yes Colossus did used to have the little dip instead of an mcbr, I can only imagine how much of a nut cruncher that would be -That's awesome that you spotted sfmm from your plane, I didnt know you could -Awesome PTR, it sounds like you had an awesome time, and fyi, I have never seen X2's line as ridiculous (in person) as the picture you took of it below the bridge
  12. Congrats to Tom, that sounds like a hell of a lot of fun
  13. Six Flags Magic Mountain Disneyland Disney's California Adventure Belmont Park Hoping to go to Knott's soon
  14. I believe the suit, mainly because Disney just gives off that secretly evil vibe
  15. I'm calling it now! Vekoma being the geniuses at engineering that they are will somehow manage to get the invert stuck in that cobra roll! But it does look pretty cool
  16. Most likely a stupid question here, but can bulky track like B&M track or the track found at KD transition like Maverick does? Or is it too bulky to do that?
  17. I must say that those are some of the coolest coaster trains I've seen, haha I'm all for you taking that to the u.s as a souvenir!
  18. ^^I wonder if Arrows somehow revive themselves, because Viper at SFMM has been noticably smoother recently, it's great to hear that an old Arrow like that still runs without killing people!
  19. ^It's an estimated time, not "You'll ride this in 30 minutes or you'll get your money back" and the wait times should stay pretty consistent too, plus the wait times usually seem to be posted longer than they actually are
  20. Sounds like an awesome trip, cant wait for more updates Time to hit a dead horse with a stick here: Back at Djurs, by TPR logic, I believe Piraten should rank higher with you guys than kawasemi due to the fact that it has a tunnel. (Assuming that the tunnel is still there)
  21. The first time I stood in line for Goliath at sfmm, my friend and I waited about 45 minutes and saw a sign that said "an hour from this point" and decided to get out of the line. On later trips, we realized that it's really only about a 20 minute wait from that sign which is extremely doable, I'd also like to see those signs in place, not the "apx X hours from this point" signs
  22. ^That's because the park reached utmost capacity, I get maybe not wanting to give guests a bad experience so that they'll wanna come back, but they also want to bring as many in as possible, chances are, even if locals go on a bad day they'll probably come back.
  23. Wow that is one fancy camera you have there, those TM pics were absolutely stunning, great PTR too
  24. Parks are interested in making as much money as possible, so I don't think it would be in their best interest to tell people not to come
