ChrisHanKwansivus Gift Exchange 2012!
alilstronger replied to Brandy524's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Now I did not take part in this last year sorry if this is a stupid question. Once sign ups are over is there going to be a special board created for this? I just figured that would be a easier way for everyone to list what they like. In a private board everyone can create their own topic with their name as the name for the thread and then list what they like. This way you do not have to hunt through this thread - you can just click on that persons name. Stupid idea? -
Silent Night - Justin Bieber - Yep, I whipped out the Xmas music today hehe

Yes, it's tough to find a suitable one! But at least we are closer to all having the same rights. I can agree! All the guys I connect with live so far away! Maybe it means I am destined to move away from MD lol

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread
alilstronger replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I personally LOVE Vortex!!!!!!! I went to Kings Island for the first time Memorial Day weekend 2012 and I rode this coaster about 10 times over two days. I did not find it rough at all and think it is one of the best Arrow coasters I have ever ridden. But then again I rarely find coasters rough that others do. I always just let my body fall with a ride and rarely get a head ache or bruises from any ride. I just never hold on tight so my body can go where its being directed to go. -
I actually think it's more people who were raised wrong. Most kids in my school don't think anything of someone being gay, including me. But there are a few that don't feel that way, like this one Neo-Nazi in my school who thinks that "all gay people should die and rot in Hell." It's people like that that make me sick. I was raised Catholic, and Catholics usually believe that gay people are sinners, but I was raised different. I believe in equality, and the fact that people are still getting fired for being gay and being put in mental institutions for falling in love with someone of the same sex makes me lose almost all faith in humanity. B "Straight guy for gay rights" Wade. I could not agree with you more! I really think it is going to take the end of my generation and the next one for us as a country to really see changes. If you go to a lot of high schools now in or near major cities gay kids are not as tormented as they once were. Gosh even when I was in high schools 10 years ago (I can not believe it has been that long) I was not tormented at all after I came out. Yea, there were people that had their comments but over all I was more accepted AFTER I came out. More people wanted to be my friend.

For anyone that likes emotional romantic comedies I recently watched Griffon and Phoenix and I think it was really well done. It stars Amanda Peet and Dermot Mulroney. I have never really liked Amanda Peet before but I will say I think she did a awesome job at this role.

^ YES! Both Superman and Jokers had full queues at one time! I have NEVER seen the extra queue being used on Jokers Jinx before. Side Note: This park NEEDS to build a queue line for Riddle Me This. I am still confused why this ride has no queue line. They open the gate to let people on and its like all heck breaks loose. It is as bad as when they had Avalanche next to the Jokers Jinx and it barely had a queue line.

Movies I am excited for in the next year. I LOVE remakes and can not wait for a few - I love when they try to update them for a new generation. What I am excited for is.... 1. Evil Dead (remake) 2. The Collection 3. Flight 4. Texas Chainsaw 3D (will only see in theaters if I can find it NOT in 3D - I do not like 3D movies UNLESS they are cartoon) 5. Hansel and Gretal: Witch Hunters 6. Oz the Great and Powerful 7. Carrie (remake) 8. The Host 9. Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part II 10. Tyler Perry's The Marriage Counselor 11. Tyler Perry's We the Peeples 12. The Little Mermaid in 3D 13. Paranormal Activity 5 (if it gets made of course)

They need smaller groups in all 3. We skipped the bridge because we heard the chainsaws walking up to it and already knew they were there so they were not going to scare us. The line for bloodshed went about 20 minutes if that. If I owned a haunted thing I would send smaller groups and put up signs saying why - to make it more scarier for everyone.

I give up on this park for Fright Fest. I will admit I will give them credit for trying. Yes, I renewed my season pass for next year but won't be going to Fright Fest - at least at this park. The haunted attractions were NOT scary at all. All they did was get in my face - how is that scary? Again they send TOO many people through at once. 10 people is A LOT - if something pops out at the people in front of me it is NOT going to scare me. When are they going to get this? I could not understand the girl talking at the beginning of Blood Factory into the loud speaker - it was too loud in there and there was too much going on. Then in the room with the other girl talking we could not hear her. We just looked at each other dumb founded till she pointed to the door. The rest had maybe 4-5 haunts that I could see in plain site so they did not scare me. Toxic Fallout was the WORST haunted attraction I have ever paid for. This was a waste and they could have did without it. You could see the WHOLE thing from standing in line for it. The theming was terrible and looked like something I could throw together in my back yard. We did not understand the random short circuit looking robot - it just looked out of place. Also the giant snake looked out of place. Backwoods Bloodshed had good themeing - I will give them that. I was confused on the random toilet in the middle of the woods. Also was confused why there was a giant turkey with a human head - that looked stupid. ALL that bamboo and not a dang ghoul in there jumping out. Also we were confused about the random ride cars and children's toys at the end - there was no back story or anything. I could see many haunts hiding behind things but not jumping out. The tea cups were pretty neat - I will give them that. As well as the bumper cars. I was confused on why they advertise JJ, ROS, Cyclone, etc. on their website to have some sort of story but do NOTHING. That is false advertisement. Club Pulse was a joke! I was expecting to walk in there and there would be loud club music with laser lights and fog - umm like ANY normal club I have been to. No, we walk in and could barely hear the music, all the lights were on and there were NO ghouls in there. Such a waste. I love the idea of having the ghouls walk around the park but that park gets way too crowded for this! I was elbowed several times in my stomach from people running from the ghouls like mad people.

I watched 50/50 last night for the first time and I think it is such a well done movie. Do I feel they could have dramatized it a little bit yes, but it was well done.
