  1. Yes, they have been there since it opened. There is one at the front entrance and one right near the ride. So there is plenty of warning.
  2. My boyfriend thinks the same exact way you do. I am the opposite. I want to be out in the parades and rallies
  3. ^ You could get a Flash Pass or get there before they open and go right to it to ride it as your first ride of the day. Also this is probably the best time to ride because mid day and afternoon most animals are sleeping. Then the line won't be long or even 20% of your day. Also you could go to the park during the week while school is in session still. Lines are not as long during this period. That ride is not and was not an experience like out in the wilderness. Its a giant field (mostly) with animals that roam around. Granted, I have not ridden the ride since it started operating from within the park but before it looked nothing like the animals natural environments. Go to Africa and go on a real African safari - completely different experience. Why would they not know what they are getting into when getting in line? This ride was heavily advertised. The name of the ride tells you exactly what it is. Keep in mind its still relatively new as well and that may be why the line is longer. On top of that its a ride that everyone in the family can ride together since it has no height limit as long as an adult rides. I am sure the line moves more than an inch every 10 minutes - that sounds like an exaggeration. Its okay if that is not why you go to a park. Just because you do not like something does not you mean you have to bash it. There are different rides and experiences for that reason. Amusement parks know that there are different people with different taste.
  4. Looking at the map it looks like the queue is coming from where the locker storage is for KK. Which makes sense because they can add more lockers there.
  5. It saddens me that there are people out there like WBC. These people are sick and I hate (I do not use that word much) that they are having children and raising them to be this way. I can only hope the further generation(s) that come from these people learn the error in their beliefs and progress away from the hatred and bigotry. Now I am not religious, I don't believe in it at all really. However, I do know that religion is meant to be used for good and what they do is not good. Its sad and pathetic. I can not believe they waste their time picketing funerals and other events. Like it was previously said in a another response there is a silver lining. They have brought more LGBT together as well as brought more of our straight alliances out of the wood work and I love that.
  6. ^ I agree. I think the colors look great against KK.
  7. Eden - Sara Bareilles
  8. God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You - Nsync
  9. ^ Someone like Jurassic Park hehe - keep in mind tattoos are for life and you should only get things that mean something to you. I thought about getting a Stitch but I figured when I am an old man walking around with a wrinkled up Stitch may look funny. I have noticed I lean towards word tattoos and I think that will be my focus going forward.
  10. This is exciting! I move to Texas and we get a new park
  11. I've probably been to this park 20 or 30 times in my life as it's only a few hours from my house. We usually go on Saturdays, sometimes in October even and I would agree with this. The flats can get 1-2 cycle waits sometimes but the coasters have always been 5 minute waits tops and they're usually walk ons (except the Mouse which won't be more than 15 minutes and that's only because of it's slow operations). The longest line in the dry park is usually the Flume but it's worth it. The line is usually only 15 minutes but it seems long when you've been walking on to everything else all day. ** The Rapids are technically in the dry park and always have a huge line, but I'd argue that this is closer to the waterpark than the dry park and I think that's the reason why. Maybe I've just been really unlucky, but any time I go during the summer I typically see 30-45 minute waits for all the major coasters. I don't know why I seem to be the only one who reports this, but the only time I've seen everything a walk-on it's early or late in the season. Anyway, I also don't know why Steel Force never gets any love around here. It's an awesome ride. Possibly the worst hyper in the area, but that hardly makes it bad. I agree here. I have been to the park before when it had 45 min to an hour wait for some coasters. Back to water slide... I LOVE the rainbow inserts!
  12. ^ Of course we are. But heaven forbid we "push" the gay agenda in movies, tv, music, etc. I think these bigots do not stop to think its not "us", its Hollywood doing that. In reality its helped in my opinion. Seeing kids coming out younger and younger and fully understanding they are in fact gay, bi, queer, pansexual, lesbian, transgender, etc. I think that is pretty awesome. Now more then 50% of US citizens believe gays should have the right to marry or at least do not care either way.
  13. ^ That looks really cool! And Shawn your two new ones look great as well. I have been trying to decide what I want to get next. I wanted Ohana put on the inside of my left arm bicep/tricep area but after getting the roller coaster on my right and felt how much pain the side of arm was in I am not sure. I do know I am going to eventually get "just keep swimming" on one of my feet and I want to get more added to the star I have on my left side. And I want to get my coaster one outlined again even though I just got it done in October.
  14. So Magical - Martina McBride
  15. ^ Give it time you may not feel like that forever.
  16. I'm not much for water parks, but you'll love Splashin Safari. I personally prefer it over Schilitterbahn. But Schiltterbahn New Braunfels is amazing! It does depend if you prefer slides of the river style rides though. I can understand what you mean. Back to the coaster! Of course they have to put this in the year I move really far away and can not afford a TPR trip the summer of.
  17. It looks like such a beautiful coaster. I love the colors they chose and am happy the went with the newer kind of restraints. Lets hope I get up to the park in the next few seasons and get to ride it.
  18. ^ But every time you turn around now there is a new large sink hole in FL - its seems like its sinking
  19. I know its a rough coaster but I actually like Hurler. I just sit near the front - the back I do not like too much. I could see them taking it out and putting in something else. They need to do something with that little corner of the park. Its only Riccochet and Hurler there and at times Riccochet has a longer line. In my opinion they could wipe out Hurler and the large food stand next to it (I rarely see lots of people eating there) and they could put something quite large in its place. If you ask me they really need to work on their water park. They have some nice rides with Pipeline Peak but other than that they do not have much. And everything in their water park is so spread out. They need to do some sort of overhaul and add some interesting slides/attractions. Something like The Falls from Schlitterbahn would be awesome because it seems they have lots of space back there.
  20. ^ Yea, I agree. Plus the rules with the mouse are terrible. Even though some employees do not follow the protocol because I have ridden with 2 other adults in the car.
  21. Yes Blue Bell all the way! I live in Brenham and won't eat any other brand
  22. Congrats on coming out!
  23. I had no banging. I did jolt from one side to the other once with that the quick snap of the track that goes under the lift but that was it.
  24. I LOVE Thunderhawk! It is rough but not that bad in my opinion. Talon is one of my favorite suspended coasters. The best part is when it drops down into where the camera is. I would like to see them get another wooden coaster. Maybe something like Wooden Warrior at Quassy. That is really fun coaster.
