  1. Wide Supports Lateral Supports Basically, wide supports are almost always used whenever the track is non-banked. Lateral supports are needed to keep the track from moving to the left/right when banked.
  2. What's up with the roll bars on White Canyon? They look... bad yet craptastic
  3. The auto supporter doesn't make lateral supports at any height. It makes wide supports which help the ride stand vertically, but you need angled supports slanted towards the ride to keep the lateral forces tolerable. The ride looks a hell of a lot better with custom supports.
  4. I would if I could. Sadly, I am a college student. First, They do not have money. Second, They do not have ample time on their hands. I believe I may have an exam on Friday, April 2nd. You silly kids and college...
  5. ^Thanks The track looks like crap and is pretty unrealistic if you don't put lateral supports at all. The ones under the track determine where catwalks go, and the default ledgers, and they serve as a guideline for the rest of the supports imo. Also, on another ride of mine I'm completely custom supporting it with even the supports under the track custom. It's going to be a long project...
  6. I have alumni park ops orientation for BGE the 20th...
  7. Thanks guys. I plan on actually finishing this. (Unlike my last 5 coasters) And Cool5, I'm not doing it yet. Stay on this ride.
  8. Cruises are one of the best things you can do in a lifetime imo. Although they can be quite pricey, they are definitely worth it. I'm just wondering how long it'll be until there's a coaster on one of these floating hotels.
  9. ^I assume you're not going to the campout?
  10. ^That's a new one. A cigar chaser?
  11. ^Is this cool5? If so then sorry, you wouldn't like it cause it's not a jet coaster. I'll let you test my badass jettie once I start it though.
  12. They had been having quite a bit of maintainance trouble with it too. It was becoming a hassle to run at times.
  13. Here's a new wooden coaster that I'm working on. It's inspired by Boss. All wide supports, ledgers, crossovers, lateral supports, etc are custom. The only auto supports are the ones directly below the track.
  14. Thisis looking reallywell themed. Awesome car too!
  15. I couldn't quite see, but it looked like you were on teh Voyager of the Seas? It's a beautiful ship. In 07 and 08 my family and I cruised on it. It really shows how rich people live.
  16. Hey Tony, any update on this?
  17. Well... I'm not sure if I wrote in here before, but I haven't been on this site in probably a year so I thought I'd say hello again. My name's Brandon, I'm 16, and I really love the tr's/ptr's you all do.
  18. Intamin sure does make a pretty looking track!
  19. I'm the one on the right
  20. A 21 Gun Salute- Serapis
  21. Might I suggest just using L-beams? They look cleaner and are more realistic. Voyage, Hades, RFII, etc use L-beams except for crossovers, which use H-beams.
  22. It's not hard to unpack the .zip file. Just move the proper files (cartexture, objects, environment) into the NL root folder with the cooresponding file names. It's pretty simple but takes a little while.
  23. I just hope it's not a total bust. (like many other KD rides)
  24. Ehh... This is kinda hard to comment on. Good - nice layout - plenty of airtime - Good lats Not so good - Some substantial pumping - Many jerks in the track - the transitions are very stiff - on the bunny hills, the train kinda pops into the transitions - Failed tunnel test - lastly, wooden coasters (in NL) shouldn't use wheels in the station. Slant the station so that gravity takes the train out. Overall, this can use a lot of work, but it has great potential.
