  1. HI!!! Just letting everyone know I didn't fall off the face of the earth (no comments about the last part please)
  2. If a few thing go as planned, I'll go to Busch Gardens Europe for the first time ever **SHOCKER**. So I was wondering which one is the best, which will also be the one I will try to ride first.
  3. I'm usually very good about not being scared on water slides, but here was one that got me. Your at the top of the tower at you get in this little thing like a phone booth. Then, a attendant hits a switch and the floor below you opens up at fall straight onto the slide (which is going straight down). It also gives you a major wedgie at the bottom. My friends snickered when they came down because they heard me cuss (Which I don't do much) when I was dropped This was a couple years ago and I completely forgot the name of the park and the ride. If this sounds familiar to anyone, please tell me what the name of the ride and the park name is. Thanks!

  5. Just putting this out there, I'm sorry for being a big butthole on this site. Now, I'm going to search more thoroughly (I don't like getting locked). Please forgive me for all the crap I've done, Robb, Wes, and lots of other people. PS I'm twelve. Put it in the newspapers!!!!
  6. Does anybody know what those rides are? If anybody has worked at Carowinds for the season, can you tell what the experience is like? Do you have to stay somewhere in the area or is like Cedar Point where they have dorms? I'm assuming the best ride to work would be Afterburn, what was your favorite. Please reply!!!!!
  7. Besides having a job over the summer, does being a ride op have any benefits? I've heard they get to ride the coaster/ride every hour or so to listen for any problems and make sure everything is going smoothly. I'm sure they also have some funny stories to tell. So, what do you think? Is it a good experience to be a ride op. What are the pros and cons? Brandon "I searched this and didn't find anything so don't yell at me" Paul
  8. Has everybody just stopped guessing.... Does get what's supposed to be in that crate outside Carowinds. I noticed there was a TV next to the crate. Maybe that will give a clue into the name, because there are stamps on the crate saying DON'T OPEN UNTIL 2009.
  9. That makes me want to be a Top Gun operator even more.
  10. The Carolina Cyclone. It was my first coaster that went upside down. Being so inexperienced with coasters, I was immune (I guess) to the shake, rattle, and rolling that is Arrow. Now, I only ride it when people what to ride it with me, but I don't like riding it.
  11. Are there any rides that your really excited for, and you get on it for the first time in your life. It's really fun, and you enjoyed the ride so much that decide to ride it again. Then you ride it for the second time, and it just doesn't have that same "spark" to it. This has happened to me before and I wanna hear about your experiences. Brandon "I searched and didn't find anything like it so don't yell at me" Paul
  12. If we traded Nighthawk for Dominator. THAT would be awesome!!
  13. How long does the tour last and what shop place do you have to go to. Overall was the trip fun? Oh, and thanks for the report
  14. As for woodies go, I'm votin' for Georgia Cyclone, it's rough in a fun way. As far as steel goes, Supeman is fun first time around, but Mindbender and Georgia Schorcher are just awesome each time you ride.
  15. I think you are correct on Mantis. On most stand-ups people don't adjust it right or sit on it like a bicycle like you were saying
  16. I think in your case the break part in break dance explained the whole ride. Looked like you ahd a fun time. You think I can fit in your suitcase next time??? I would love it if they did that ANYWHERE around here.

    Tums

What does Tums in SharkTums, KidTums, or BabyTums stand for. Does it really mean Tums like antiacid Tums or does it stand for something. Just wondering
  18. Disney.........Do I need to explain???
  19. Laser-cannon snake on FIRE! The Ride PS I'm sorry to all that I annoy by not shutting up about Afterburn.
  20. Can someone help me? I've gotten on a particular Arrow looper a couple times (Different visits though), and each time I keep my eyes open the whole time. Big hill, I'm fine, first loop, I'm fine, second loop, halfway though my eyes are straining or something and I start seeing spots until I blink a lot. This happens about every time and it doesn't hurt, but I'd just like to know what's going on or what it's called, if it does have a name (besides seeing spots).
  21. One I've always liked it Afterburn, the coaster formally known as Top Gun- the jet coaster. It has the look and feel of an aircraft hanger and I've never seen to many terrible lines for it.
  22. I agree, they good tall woodies TOWER over you like a beast. While steel just have beams sticking into the sky. Plus I think it's the whole clickity clack sound.
