  1. Has anyone here ever seen the documentary, The Cove? If no, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's mainly about a group of marine biologists attempting to uncover the dolphin slaughtering in Japan. The movie also stars the creator of the show Flipper, and his efforts to stop the deaths. I can't remember his name for the life of me, but he's the man that started the craze of marine parks in America. Now, about 20 years later, he regrets it all, and is trying to bring what is really going on to the world's attention. He was the main care taker for the dolphin that starred in Flipper as well, and one night, he heard the dolphin banging against the dock (he lived in a shack on the beach where the dolphin was housed). He went out and swam with the dolphin, only to have it die in his arms. He later found out that dolphins actually have the ability to commit suicide, as all of their breaths are conscious. He believes that the reason for "Flipper's" suicide was the amount of stress it was under being caged in day after day. I guess what I'm getting at is that the event today at SeaWorld is really just another reason for wild animals NOT to be caged. They were created to live in the wild for a reason, and they should stay there, no matter how many tricks they can do.
  2. Claire is officially insane. And, who is Jack's son's mom? Kate, or his ex-wife from early in the series?
  3. An accomplishment, nonetheless. Are you excited? Because frankly, I'd get ready to punch them in the face. Multiple times.
  4. How does he manage to climb a tree?
  5. What happens if we do it more than once? How about adding this picture?
  6. Poor Dan. EDIT: Yeah, I did it. And for some reason, I'm not ashamed...
  7. Not quite You're enjoying this, aren't you?
  8. Just try not to sit on the side facing the on shore water guns.
  9. Don't get me wrong, I actually enjoyed the movie. I thought the best part was trying to figure out what was really going on for the entire length of it.
  10. Evan Lysacek went to my high school! (And Danielle Panabaker) So we had an assembly on Friday to support him. It was actually pretty cool!
  11. Yeah, Shutter Island, uhm, WTF? Definitely THE strangest movie that I've EVER seen! Think a modern day Fight Club, with about 20 more, "What the hell?"'s thrown in.
  12. In the same boat here. It's tough being a young coaster enthusiast! And even when I'm 16, my parents most likely won't let me go on coaster trips, except to SFGAm, ,or any parks within only a few hours drive.
  13. Buccaneer Battle with a line? In October? Wow, I went ten times last summer and it was ALWAYS a walk-on! Did you see all the queue switchbacks they built in case of a 2 hours line?! I NEVER saw those full! They looked mice, with TV's and shade, but they were just never used.

  15. A, thank you, Mr. Scott.
  16. For some reason, I always thought that both of these areas were rather small, and I can't really picture them putting two different attractions in that have never been seen before in a theme park.
  17. The floor projections were pretty cool though, especially the Orcas swimming.
  18. Avoid at all costs.
  19. I've pretty much memorized Contra. My favorites are California English Pt. 2, Giant, and I think Ur A Contra. Also, if you want a song stuck it your head all day, here you go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgE0fDNtvqY
  20. Gah! I keep forgetting it's on tuesdays instead of wednesdays now!
