  1. haha, if only they were. i know it was rough, but i'd actually like that in a way...... never got to ride SP
  2. if they're replacing the old track due to maintnence issues, and nothing more, that highly shoots down the possibility for any added elements or layout modifications. but the good side is, Morgan track is very smooth, and the PR's first drop was already smooth, so it can only get better. Plus it'll look really nice
  3. Well, i'm not sure 100% at all, but the latest rumors are that Phantom's Revenge, at my home park of Kennywood, is being re-tracked, from the first drop to 1/8 of the way down the second, with new Morgan track. Pictures i found show new Morgan track being stored outside of Kennywood, and is a light greenish color, just like the Phantom's Revenge, and newer pics show the old Arrow track being removed of the support structure of the first drop; the pics are below. http://screamscape.com/html/kennywood.htm I'm not sure what i think of this; i think it will look very nice, but the first drop has always been perfectly smooth for me, and i just think, why fix something that's not broken? I'd like to hear what you all have to say. **By the way, i fully acknowledge that these are NOT my pictures, and i take NO credit at all for them, and give all credit to whoever took them.**
  4. i guess so, but red and blue was such a common color scheme, that it'd gotten plain and boring, and i had already gotten used to it. i happen to love this purple and blue color scheme, and it's rare, so i think it's a shame that they are side by side.
  5. the thing that i don't like about this is the fact that Batman, SFNE's floorless, has an extremely similar paint scheme, it's got the exact same purple track as what is seen in the photo. If they repaint Batman (which i doubt will happen), it won't be as bad, but if they do, it'll get annoying, being the same color and all.
  6. awesome TR! thank you for doing such a great report of my home park, Kennywood, glad you loved the coasters there Also, Hersheypark was sweet too. Can't wait to go again and see if Wildcat is any better that last time with the new trains, and of course Fahrenheit, Stormrunner and Great Bear. -AWESOME-
  7. Damn valleyfair looks AWESOME! i'm in Minneapolis a couple times each year, forgot Valleyfair was in MN, I gotta get here sometime, great TR.
  8. I'm new here, but i'll make sure not to post any of that CRAP. I agree with those rules, because that stuff really is annoying
  9. I think one of the coolest tunnels was on Lightning Racer at Hersheypark. In the day, it's kinda blah, but the first time i rode was at night i arrived, and i didn't expect all the flashing lights. It was alot like lightning, (i think it was just the on ride photo flashing, and i'm not sure if it was intended to be lightning, but it works.) But anyways it was pretty sweet
  10. death to the jonas brothers..... thank you...... they suck
  11. sweet... wanna go there some time, was gonna ride Dominator when it was at Geauga Lake, but the dang thing closed on me...
