Maybe this ride should be Harry Potter themed and be called 'Wingardium Leviosa'. The track was pretty decent. I liked it. -

Actually, I do LOVE older Arrows. Even with all those coathangers. They are fun to research, but not to ride. -

Well, I didn't know dude. I was just making a smarta$$ remark. Besides, I wasn't around in the 70's. -

Due to technical difficulties beyond my control, Iceberg Island has been called off. Apparently the park contains some 'invalid data' that only became invalid today. -

That... was... INSANE! I personally LOVE those 'broken' elements. It was also exceptionally smooth and semi realistic (Well, maybe not). This is now my FAVORITE NoLimits track. -
That would be a great Eurofighter drop! Very incredible job!

Oooh, an Arrow. At least they didn't order a BAD ride. Very good job on the park. The realism is quite excellent. -
The reason I don't take pictures is because: A: Usually, my parents won't let me use the camera B: The pictures are way too huge to put on the site and Photoshop doesn't work.

I got back from Great America Monday and I am ready to post my second park report for Midwest Trippers. The Park The park is still really big and really fun. However, the layout can be very deceiving. For example, if you're in County Fair and you want to go on Batman, it's just across the way but you have to walk all the way around. Raging Bull What can I say? A very huge, very smooth, very exciting roller coaster. Big drops, twisting turns, and a crapload of airtime, especially in the back seat. Deja Vu For those Vekoma haters out there, get ready to have your minds blown. Deja Vu is an incredible ride experience. It's fast, very intense going backwards, and SMOOTH 'shock'. Definitely worth a ride. Batman - The Ride This is where the inverted roller coaster started. They started off on the right foot! Very intense, very exciting and some great footchoppers. Viper Robb is right. This is a very exciting woodie. Tons of airtime all over the ride, especially in the back. Watch out for ejector air over the last hill. Demon This classic Arrow is actually kind of decent. As long as you sit in the back and have a long neck, like me! Airtime on the first drop in the back = OMG! American Eagle A very rough, classic ride. Some decent air, but some of the worst shuffling I have experienced. Your back, legs, your whole freeking body will ache. Avoid unless you REALLY want to ride. Iron Wolf Why do people hate this ride?! It's a hell of a lot of fun! Just keep your head firmly to one side and you will have a great time! Ragin' Cujun This is a VERY evil ride! It spins like a top on crack! No knobs to pinch your ass like Opa. But be careful when you get in line. It moves extremely slow. Vertical Velocity Intamin goodness! My classmates think it looks lame, but OMG! It is so fast and spinny! More spin in the front, more intensity in the back. Superman - Ultimate Flight A very interesting experience. Not incredibly scary, but a very cool ride. The pretzel loop is tasty! Superman RCDB Iron Wolf RCDB Viper RCDB Raging Bull RCDB

Man hurt in Dodonpa rollercoaster
EuroTre replied to thomas2's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Because the 'vibrations' shook it loose? They just could have said "Because it is so freeking ROUGH!" At least it was at the end of the ride because a 3 kg hitting your leg at 106 mph would probably hurt. -

Uh, YES. Some projects can get to be very hard to finish if you constantly work on them. Please don't gang up on this. -

Hey there. Since I was getting SO bored trying to work on Oshkosh Beach and Arcadia Point, I decided to try a new park. Oh right, the press release. On June 9th, Funzones Entertainment announced their plan to construct a medium sized family park just outside of Blue River, Montana. Due to the theming of the park and rides, the park is expected to be open year round, even the entire winter season, a first for an American theme park."We have moved away from an ultra-thrill style park and we are now trying to catch the eye of the vacationing family. Not much can be said about the park now, but it will contain rides for the very young or for those who are looking for an adrenaline rush" said Mikael Jeter, CEO of Funzones Entertainment. The opening date for the park is set around July 2009. -

For some reason, that landscape looks REALLY familiar to Deep Valley. -
When I rode the Voyage earlier this summer, I thought that it was better than Hades. But then I rode Hades again. The tunnel = better than sex (Not that I would know)
-
Oh yeah! It was open and it was absofricken insane! I nearly blacked out and the guy I was riding with said that when they were running full blast, 2 people actually DID black out!

Yay for G-Trains! They make a great ride GREAT! Just look at Boss. -
I didn't get to take any pictures because my mom wouldn't let me take the camera. I just thought I'd let those know who are going on the Midwest trip, or just visiting the Dells, how Mt. Olympus is doing this year. I will also do one for Great America and Timber Falls. THE PARK The place is still a very awesome experience. The go karts are top notch, the park is clean, the water park is very cool (especially Poseidon's Rage), and the lines aren't horrendous. HADES OMG! Still the most insane woodie in the Midwest. It's actually better than the Voyage. Airtime, speed, 'THE' tunnel, and pure insanity make up HADES (And no, it's smooth) Cyclops Still has 'THE DROP'. Not very intimitading? A little story: When I was waiting in line for Cyclops, the train came into the station with the very last bar open. The guy even closed it before the train left! That's why you have to be 18 to ride in the last car. Opa Not very exciting with 4 people. Try riding with 2 people for a more exciting ride. Only if you want to, Pegasus and Zeus are also there. Pegasus is plain awful, while Zeus desperately needs a retrack. Pegasus. WATCH OUT FOR THAT LAST TURN! courtesy of rcdb 'THE DROP' on Cyclops courtesy of rcdb Hades courtesy of rcdb

Wow! Now THAT'S a station fly by! After riding the Rumbler at Beech Bend, I wish that GCI had built something closer to home. -
