  1. loved your trip! you really did every new ride and nice park in europe... and the pics are awesome. Wonderful photo spots and really good quality... can`t wait to see more. And even wondered that you found the AlpinSlide. The next time i hope to see some Photos of the the little "Steinwasen Park" next to Oberried from you . Its on the way, too. And has 2 nice alpin slides, a indoor powered coaster, indoor powered alpine slide, some other little rides and an animal park. But what i have to mention is that i had a really extrem airtime on SilverStar in my homepark EuropaPark. I ride it directly after the park opening and OMG it was extrem in the last row. I really never had such an extrem airtime on any coaster. Most of the people which ride with me were really sick after the ride... and i really don`t wanted to ride it again after this because it was even to extrem for an coater enthusiast. But in afternoon i ride it again and then it was like: "hmm, were is the airtime gone??" I don´t know why it changed so much but it really rides like 2 complete different coasters. And by the way: Bluefire is one of the best if ever ridden! Everything is said: insanly smooth, nice speed, wonderfull inversions, superb layout, the best seats and restraints ever, good onride music, family friendly and just really big fun to ride this thing. Hope they will improve the darkride-part in the future, with an extra stop before the launch and some animatronics, then it will be perfect.
  2. More Photos on http://onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=28726&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=750. just scroll a little bit down! EDIT: and they put the first car with the windshields and the german ex tennis player "Boris Becker" on the track for some press-photos: http://www.tikonline.de/stargalerien/Boris+Becker+am+N%C3%BCrburgring/Boris-Becker-G7 and there is a racing trailer for "24 hours Racing" 4D-Cinema from the park, just some racing scenes, but they really look good:
  3. A found a nice picture report from Belantis with nice photos of the skyroller and the rest of the park on: http://lifthill.net/galerie/belantis-1_de/
  4. ^ its a Gerstlauer Bobsled Coaster, the same type of coaster like "Gsengte Sau" in Tripsdrill or "Die heiße Fahrt!" in the "Wild- & Freizeitpark Klotten". Nice little Mouse Style coaster with really good airtime hills and helixes, especially the one in Klotten. For onride video scroll down in this post. On http://www.gerstlauer-rides.de/Produkte/PB1_BobsC.html you`ll find a list all coaster of this type. I just saw on a video that there is an small darkride for the water ride and an elevator which lifts the boat to the drop, but i don`t know whats in the entrance of the pyramid because the waterride has a seperate station. Here is an OnrideVideo from the Ride but you see nearly nothing in the drakride part, but you here voices of a person which talks about that he will be the biggest adventure guy of all times and a curse of the mummy of course: and one mixed On- and Offride Video were you see better how the elevator works: And for te coaster guys a onride of the "Drachenritt"-Coaster:
  5. Some (very)small pics of the the first track elements from http://www.nuerburgring.de/Baustellendokumentation.474.0.html:
  6. ^sorry i can`t answer you your question... i have never been to Belantis because of the distance! But i read in Hannos thread (http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50105&start=150)that the next Park report is from Belantis, so i think in his report you will get your answer. But i can say that from pictures i saw it doesn`t look so.
  7. Belantis, a nice little German Park gets his new gerstlauer ride and its really unique in the world till now. You selfcontroll your flight: Here the official trailer: And a video from the first ride operation time in munich were a guy makes 56 rollovers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlydhM0vKJs And some pics from the Ride: This is from the Belantis Park: source: http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/1852/imgp0989n.jpg and a nice german report from the first operating time in munich, before it went to Belantis: http://www.coastersandmore.de/
  8. there is a new picture/renedering of the trains with the windshield on it on http://onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=28726&start=675. (just scroll a little bit down)
  9. so can`t wait till you do the next trip.... its everytime much fun. hope i can show you soon some pics of my EuropaPark trip. And forgot that i saw the pictures from el toro on this post. When i have time and the money i plan to go on one america coaster trip. And how could i forget the Nürnburg ring, just found a 3D-Rendering of the trains with the wind shields on it. (I`ll post it in the Ring coaster thread). And what`s about a mini EuropeTrip like you did it the last time!? Is this not planned fpr this season!?
  10. Your Trip pics are really insane... so whats next!? insane???? When i see your photos i really want to join your trip. You really visited nearly all new coaster in Europe. Just 5 ones to do.... when will we see the pictures of Rick`s Delight, el toro, i-speed, Fluch von Novgorod and Insane. And really loved to see your pictures from my Homepark "EuropaPark". Really sad that i hadn`t the time to visit it till now this year. Every time I saw your photos i realized that i can`t wait to go there, especially riding bluefire. But my time will come soon... And about SilverStar. Have you riden it? There are many people that say that it will get better and better every year. Some say this year the trims were not recognizable and the airtime is much better than ever. The new train paintings look good by the way
  11. After a long time i found some new pics from MadMill and RonShovel on: http://themepark.nl/ubb/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1058583#Post1058583
  12. ^^this week were still easter holidays in germany! So I don`t suggest you to visit the park this weekend. My hint is to wait till monday the 20. April to visit the park. I think then there will be much less people. And sometimes when you visit on sunday you´ll find the park very empty. But you can`t really predict it, because the weather is really nice the last weeks and the temperatures are very high... So it think you won`t have an empty park. But even when the park is full, they have good operators and you nearly never have to queue longer than 20-30 min. My suggestions is to visit first bluefire of course and then you should really early visit the "Matterhorn-Blitz" and "Poseidon". Especially Matterhorn has very long waiting times and you often wait there nearly an hour.
  13. ah thx George for your report. Really nice to hear this. And i hoped that the darkride part was just not the final one. Because they had to less time. Mr. Mack talked about the darkride and said much more about it in the past then has done till yet. Nice to hear from you that they continue improving it. One Person in a german forum said that they will built an effect were air comes out of the steam pipe over the train right before the launch to simulate an explosion from the facillity. So I think there will come some explosion effects like fire, smoke, light effects and may be a stop of the train at the animatronics which talk about a problem that occured in the facility. If I´m not wrong this is the story of the ride.
  14. First, really can`t say more than the others! Fantastic pics from a really nice coaster. Just counting the time to ride it by myself. And there is a rumor that one coaster of the same type is ordered from MACk. But its a rumor and no one knows more about the layout or which park it ordered.
  15. the first video of the tests: http://www.fvn-videoblog.vonikx.de/fvn_0604/fvn_0604.html
  16. Can`t read enough about BlueFire. Really nice report... and what a splash!!! Where you get that wet!? From Atlantica...? I never realized that you`ll splashed with this masses of water (hope my english ist correct)
  17. thx for sharing and really nice expressions. Seems that everyone likes the "smoothBlue". By the way i can`t wait to visit the park in about 2 weeks by myself
  18. Awesome reviews guys, especialy from GeorgT. I really regret that i can`t ride it the first day. But really looking forward to ride it after easter holidays. Can`t wait for it.
  19. ^^^ here the direct link to the photo reports: one from the complete day, the really nice theming, the coaster, the nice darkride part, the pulse monitor and much more. DON´T MISS to VIEW THIS REPORT, very nice pics: http://onride.de/viewtopic.php?p=700822#700822 Some nice things that were mentioned in this reports: -The park told them that there will be some geysors next to the launch added the next days. -The coaster had some rollbacks on the media day. -It really looks slow from the outside but onride its really fast. -there is a single rider line -it has a nice preshow. But the onride sound system doesn`t work that day. But it has two speakers in every front of each car, two tweeters in the upper of every seat and one woofer directly in every seat, so that the vibration is directly permitted in your body. -Its really a family coaster with some thrill elements, but not to extrem for younger people. - the Launch is very family style, not very hard - the first curve give an unnormal feeling, but not an unpleasant one. - the loop is family style too. - the curve after the loop is very thrilling element. - the brakes didn`t affect on the speed very much. - the rest of the track is really thrilling, especially the part trough the canyon - the best inversion is the heartline roll -its smooth like the skin of a baby botty (hope you can say this in english) some more pics and a offride video with the smoke effects on the trains: http://epworldfan.canalblog.com/ one german TV report: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrPdPkDW5x8 and some pics from http://www.coaster-fans.de/thread.php?postid=25964&sid=#post25964: more pics from http://lifthill.net/: this pic shows the vertical (yellow) and horizontal (blue) g`s till the brake and maybe the pulse(purple) from the monitor on the restraints. the village: the main entree to the new area, which was constructed under the river rapids: and the coaster: arg... ah german B-TV/music-star. No one knows why: the station: Pic from the part before the Launch: and more coaster: and another onride video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcu6p_MnYs4
  20. they are really looking good! So want to show more from http://www.kataplektor.de i like especialy the back of the trains: thy started with theming the second tower: the third tower is growing: here the train train arrives to the indoor lifthill: i like this view of the outdoor part: the hill after the launch: http://www.kataplektor.de/cms/upload/galerie/baustelle/2009-03-31_IMG_9361.jpg here will be a scene of the darkride part: nice details on theming: all three towers on one pic:
  21. the homepage for the new coaster is now online: http://www.bluefire-megacoaster.com/ and the new trailer (you`ll find it on the homepage in high definition): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX9GjojRM_Y
  22. i hope i could but i`m going to move in an other flat these days so i don`t think to have the time! And it will be very hard to go there because of "Nato-Gipfel", on the highways they stop nearly every car eventhough on the normal streets. So I`m looking forward to visit the park some days/weeks after the opening. Maybe after the easter holidays when the crowds has gone. I´ll post it here so maybe we can meet us another time... Or maybe i can`t wait and come to the opening instead. Just need some days to making a decision. But I still hope to win the tickets for the first riders on April the 1st
  23. ^thats true. I´ve been to Europa PArk over 30 times and i never find one ride closed. Sometimes 1-2 just opens 1 or 2 hours later but mostly all of them ride the whole day. And the smoothness. THink so too. The first viewers said that you nearly hear nothing from ride, which bode well in my opinion. And when have riden Pegasus which is produced the same way from Mack, you`ll know waht smooth is and about the Speed: if you take the lenght of the ride (1000m - ca. 100m of the darkride) and the length of the ride duration in the video (ca45 sec) you can calculate: 900 m / 45 s = 20 m/s = 72 km/h = 44,7387258 mph average speed. SO i do`nt think its really slow...
  24. ^ your forgot the darkride part with a stop in it. They trains weren`t launched directly out of the station. And they had a unload and a loading section in the station, so: 1 train in the unloading section 1 train in the loading section 1 train in the darkride part 1 train in the first block (launch-till block brakes) 1 train in the second block i don`t think the trains have to wait somewhere on the track... if you know Europa Park, they had the best operators i`ve ever seen! they even put through small rides a huge amount of people, friendly and fast. By 4 million people a year, they had to do so
  25. the 3 air pressure tanks for the coaster arrived. Nice German report with video on http://www.ksta.de/html/artikel/1233584162386.shtml here are some pics from the report: and there is a new graphic from the curve at the end of the track in the coaster report on http://www.bild.de/BILD/lifestyle/reise/2009/03/die-krassesten-achterbahnen/der-welt-nur-fuer-mutige.html here is the picture: THe curve really looks good
