  1. Ditch the AHG untill the track is done. Wooden coasters need particular attention to details, such as heartlining and bankings. AHG banks the turns properly and heartlines it (provided the correct settings are inputted)- something that wooden coasters don't have throughout. Heartline values will vary on elements, some elements may not be heartlined, some partially heartlined, and some fully heartlined. GhostRider is a good example, as it has a drop that isn't heartlined, and the entrance to the turnaround is heartlined. Bankings are also not proper. Wooden coasters generally create a tossing sensation, which is why the turns have less attention to, and they feel underbanked. Laterlas can be anything from 0 to spikes up to 2.0. Spikes in laterals are okay, as long as it's just a spike, not sustained. If you're going to AHG a coaster, then use a steel coaster for practice, not a woodie.
  2. ^Is wishing into dust. vIs wanting to agree with my move the mexican border south plans.
  3. Oh yeah, don't forget the cost of gathering new neighbors. When I moved to my new home about 3 months ago, the neighbors were giving us nasty looks, simply because me and my brother were the only teenagers in the neighborhood (no kids, no nothing under like 28). We apparently played our cards right, because we're now friends with a few of the neighbors, although there's one lady that still hates me, and I can see it everytime she looks at me Good luck with getting your first home!
  4. They wouldn't really have to substitute the track for steel on a vertical drop. Vertical drops have literally zero force acting upon them, because the train is in freefall, which is why you see less supports on sections like that on steel coasters (but steel is stronger than wood..).
  5. The reason a 90* banked hill isn't original is because it's used a LOT, overused actually. Oooh, I love how RCT designers put Intamin trains onto B&M track
  6. ^Lives in the same town his best man does. vLives south of the border.
  7. As for the supports: you can do what everyone does and use the crappy Wood Magic generated supports which completely suck and are totally unrealistic, or you can do what a handful of us do and actually make the supports look like the real deal, and support the coaster much the same was as many coasters are. Also, to transform the steel beams, you need to do it this way: Get your wooden supports in (not with handrails, or catwalks), then right click on the editr, and then select all. You can do two things now: 1. click on the L shapped beam, and then go to the Supports Tab, and down to Transform Selected Beamns, or 2. Push Z on your keyboard, then click the L shapped beam dot. Then click out. Viola! A ton of pink supports that can now be modified/edited. Now, all you have to do is go to the wood magic generator, check the Generate Final dot, then uncheck the Clear Previous Structure box, then uncheck the Enable Supports box, then click OK. It should now generate your catwalks/handsrails, which now can be transformed into real sized catwalks/handrail supports
  8. I never said I was dropping out. CCJared is the only one that has dropped sofar, and that was by uncontrollable occurences. I'm almost done with mine too Also, about the time frame: Some people expect to have time, but you can never predict the future. Things may end up changing for them. A month could look excellent and wide open at first, but before they know it, more important things have filled up a lot of the time.
  9. ^Needs to keep updated on this game. vWants to eat cheese with their favorite.
  10. Radio controlled machines? Yup, that's me However I'm more into the smaller models, the ones that use standard sized servos rather than a big motor with a gearbox and a big gigantic potentiometer..
  11. I now have a little over 1/4 of my track supported. It's Wood Magic, but different, like, realistically different.. I NEED TO HURRY UP!!!!!!!! Actually, I can knock out these supports in just a couple days, if I get at it..
  12. ^Obviously doesn't care. vIs carefree.

  15. I'm not ceying out for attention, sometimes I get the need to post random stuff like this. And I have tried to get contact info, but it hasn't seemed to work.
  16. I have about half of them as friends on myspace, and the others are completely out of the internet revolution. And no, I have no way of getting their numbers, as those ones also don't use cells.. And no, it's not the same just talking to them via internet as it is in person.
  17. ^Did that vIs going to a media day for a new cheese products tomorrow.
  18. Well, today at school was the last day of all of the class of 2009 seniors, 40 of which were friends. Well, I am pretty sure I will never see any of them again Also, I lost a close friend today, after she got expelled for pulling that shiney red lever we ALL want to pull (a friend friend). And i know for sure i'll likely never see her again So now I'm feeling depressed, and have no idea what to do. Oh, and BTW, my friend didn't get charged with felony accounts or anything. She just got expelled, and the school reported it as accidental. Anyone else in a position like mine currently?
  19. ^Is doing something boring vIs in an emo state.
  20. Meh, I'm not feeling like building on mine anymore
  21. ^has no idea. vIs excited for class of 2010.
  22. I didn't start it, but this kid was just throwing them at me, for no apparent reason. Yeah yeah, I took a few, then threw a couple at him and apparently hit him hard enough for him to crawl up into a ball on the ground.. I guess I won that one.
  23. My schools seniors have their final testing next week. So congrats to them!
